一般に、赤熱ヒータまたは非赤熱ヒータを有した電気ストーブが利用されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来の電気ストーブでは、本体ケースの中心より左右対称に2本のヒータを配しているため、弱運転時の発熱源は本体ケースの片側半分のみとなり発熱方向が変わるため、採暖者は弱運転切換と同時に本体ケースの方向も変更しなければならないという課題があり、弱運転でも本体ケースの中心から発熱することが要求されている。

本発明の電気ストーブは上記課題を解決するために、本体ケース内に設けた反射板と、この反射板の前方に設けた赤熱ヒータおよび非赤熱ヒータと、前記赤熱ヒータおよび前記非赤熱ヒータを通電制御して強弱切換を行う運転用スイッチを有し、この運転用スイッチは強弱運転で行うとき、強運転のときは赤熱ヒータおよび非赤熱ヒータを共に通電し、弱運転のときは赤熱ヒータのみを通電するようようにして、前記赤熱ヒータに必ず通電してなる構成としたものである。

そして本発明によれば、運転中は赤熱ヒータ通電により、通電状態を目視確認できる電気ストーブが得られる。

本発明は、本体ケース内に設けた反射板と、この反射板の前方に設けた赤熱ヒータおよび非赤熱ヒータと、前記赤熱ヒータおよび前記非赤熱ヒータを通電制御して強弱切換を行う運転用スイッチを有し、この運転用スイッチは強弱運転を行うとき、強運転のときは赤熱ヒータおよび非赤熱ヒータを共に通電し、弱運転のときは赤熱ヒータのみを通電するようようにして、前記赤熱ヒータに必ず通電したものであり、強弱運転にかかわらず、運転中は必ず赤熱ヒータに通電することにより、運転状態が容易に確認できるという作用を有する。

図1に示すように、本体ケース1内部に反射板2を設け、反射板2の前方にI字型ヒータ3と逆U字型ヒータ4とを備え、I字型ヒータ3を本体ケース1の中央に配し、逆U字型ヒータ4をI字型ヒータ3を中心として両側に対称となるように配している。これらのヒータの前方にガード5と、本体ケース1の天面に運転用スイッチ6を有している。運転用スイッチ6操作により、強運転のときはI字型ヒータ3と逆U字型ヒータ4を共に通電し、弱運転のときはI字型ヒータのみを通電するようになっている。
