以上の課題を解決するための天井における設備機器用開口の形成方法は、スラブから吊り下げた設備機器の下面に開口形成材を設置し、該開口形成材の設置箇所以外のところに、地上において所定の長さに切断された天井下地材を組立形成してスラブから吊りボルトで吊り下げるとともに、該天井下地材に、地上において所定の長さに切断された天井材を張った後、前記設備機器から開口形成材を取り外すことを特徴とする。また地上において開口形成材を設備機器に設置した後、該設備機器をスラブから吊り下げることを含み、開口形成材は少なくとも長さ方向、または長さ方向および幅方向に伸縮自在であることを含むものである。
