Claims (3)

給水用の容器と、一部が前記容器内に収容され、前記容器内の水を毛細管作用により切り花に給水するための繊維構造体の給水部材と、を備えた切り花運搬用給水装置において、
前記容器は、該容器内の水の減少に伴って変形しないように全部又は一部が硬質材料で形成され、
前記給水部材を前記容器内から外部に導出するための導出孔と前記容器内の水の減少に伴って外部空気を導入するための空気導入孔とを前記容器に設け、
前記導出孔及び前記空気導入孔を前記容器に収容される水の水面よりも上方に位置させ、
前記導出孔は、前記給水部材が該給水部材の給水機能を妨げない程度に圧縮される大きさに設定され、
前記空気導入孔は、水の表面張力が作用して水の漏出を防止できる大きさに設定されたことを特徴とする切り花運搬用給水装置。
