この従来の方式によれば各階の床面内に前記排水横枝管と共に前記縦通気管を配設しなければならず、又建物の壁部に前記排水横枝管に接続した縦排水管と共に該縦排水管の頂点にも通気弁を配設せねばならず、施工に手間がかかると共にスペースをとる問題点があった。

本発明は、これらの問題点を解消し、S字トラップなどの下流側の排水管に小型で簡単に設置できる排水用通気弁装置を提供することを目的とする。

本発明は上記の目的を達成すべく、排水用トラップの下流側の排水管の途中に接続可能な接続管と、該接続管より分岐した分岐管と、該分岐管の先端に接続し上端に前記排水管内の気圧が降下したとき外部より吸気する通気弁を接続すると共に該通気弁へ排水が逆流するのを防止する逆止弁を有する通気管とからなり、該通気管は略垂直方向に配置されると共に下端を閉塞し、前記逆止弁は、該通気管における前記分岐管の開口部より下方の位置の収容部内に存する浮き弁体と、該通気管内の該開口部より上方の位置に設けられ前記分岐管を介して該通気管内に流入した排水により浮上した前記浮き弁体が圧接して前記通気弁へ該排水が逆流するのを防止する弁座とからなることを特徴とする。

通気パイプ4aの上部で図示しないが数か所のリブによりキノコの傘状のハウジング4bが冠着され、該ハウジング4bの内側に内室4cが設けられ、該内室4cの中心部より後述の弁体4eが上下動するための案内軸4fが垂下して設けられている。

そして弁体4eは可撓性のあるゴムなどで作られたドーナツ状板で、この中心部には弁体4eを保持して前記案内軸4fに遊挿して上下動する案内孔を有する弁保持具4gが形成され、該弁保持具4gと弁体4eのドーナツ状板との間を複数のリブで架設し、これらリブ間において内室4cと通気パイプ4aが連通している。

ところが他の排水機器、例えば便器などで排水すると、排水と共に排水管内の空気も一緒に巻き込み、そのため排水管内が負圧状態となり、点線の矢印で示す様に排水管に連通している通気パイプ4a及び内室4cも負圧状態となり、かくてこの負圧と外部に連なる空気取入口4jの大気圧との圧力差により、弁体4eが図3の如く上動し、外気を排水管内に流入させて前記排水管に連通してる洗面化粧台などのトラップの封水が一緒に引かれるのを防止して臭気の逆流を防止するようにしている。

次に前記実施の形態の排水用通気弁装置1の作動を図4乃至図6において説明する。

図4は化粧洗面台での使用状態を示し、洗面器Cの流出口の下側には通常は臭気止めのS字トラップAが取付けられている。

このS字トラップAの直後に接続管2の上部を接続し、下部を排水管Bに接続する。配管工事の際にはこの接続管2を先に接続し、後で通気管3と最後に通気弁4を取付ける。尚、弁体4eが自重で作動するために通気弁4は垂直に取付ける。

更に通気弁4はS字トラップAの最上部より上部に設置されているので、排水時に排水が通気弁4迄上昇してくることは起きない。

ところが、排水下流側の詰まりなどで排水が逆流してくると、排水は図5の如く洗面器Cにあふれてくるが、通気弁4へは分岐管6から排水が流入するが通気管3内の空気が通気弁4の弁体4eを圧迫して閉弁するので圧力の高い空気のため分岐管6内で排水が上昇できずに逆流を防止することができる。

しかし例えば、弁体4eと弁座4hの間に小物Dが挟まったように通気弁4の弁体4eが完全に閉弁できずに空気が漏れた状態では逆流した排水は分岐管6を通り通気管3内に流入すると浮弁体5bが排水により浮上して弁座5aに圧接し、通気弁4へ排水が逆流するのを防止する。

この様に浮弁体5bによる逆止弁5により通気弁4に不具合が生じても逆流を二重に防止することができる。更に通気弁4に小物Dが挟まると臭気が上ってくるが、洗面台の下部なので簡単に通気弁4の点検や交換を行うことができる。
