本発明は継式中通し釣竿に関する。

【従来の技術】
釣りにおいて仕掛けが岩等に根掛りした場合、竿を左右に振ったり、突き出したりして外す試みがなされるが、一般にはなかなか外れず、ついには仕掛け毎外すことを諦めて糸を切り、再び仕掛けを付け直す作業を行わなければならないことが多かった。糸を切る場合には糸は手前で切らざるを得ず、このため中通し釣竿では面倒な作業である糸通しから始めなければならなかった。

糸を切ることなく竿の操作だけで根掛りを外すことができれば好ましく、更には、釣りにおいては釣れるチャンスにタイミングよく仕掛けを流すことが大切であるため、根掛りは一刻も早く外さなければならない。

上記目的に鑑みて本発明は、請求項1において、リール脚固定装置を設けた元竿に振出し可能に収納された第1中竿が尻栓を含む元竿に保持されて元竿先端から握持可能な長さ突出していると共に、第2中竿が第1中竿に振出可能に収納された状態で元竿又は第1中竿に保持されて第1中竿先端から突出しており、該第2中竿突出部には第1中竿先端との間に充分に握持できる間隔を有さないで釣糸導入部を設けており、収納状態における釣糸導入部からリール脚固定装置までの距離が60cm以下に設定されていることを特徴とする継式中通し釣竿を提供する。

釣りにおいては、通常、リール固定部を握持して釣り操作を行うが、請求項1では、第1と第2の中竿を収納保持した状態で第1中竿の先部が元竿から突出しており、また、第2中竿が第1中竿から突出しており、第1中竿の突出部は握持可能な程度に突出しており、第2中竿の突出部は釣糸導入部位を握持することができ、また、釣糸導入部からリール脚固定装置までの距離が60cm以下(人の片腕の長さ程度以下)に設定されているため、伸長余裕が有り、釣り操作をしている前側の手で第2と第1の中竿の突出部を、夫々順次に握持して迅速に引出すことができ、根掛りした場合に第2、第1の順序で中竿を迅速に引出せば(何れか一方のみ引出しても可)、これにより釣竿を長くして先方向に突き出せ、根掛りを迅速に外せる可能性が高くなる。また、2本を迅速に引出すことができるように構成されているため、1本の場合と比べて迅速性を失わずにより長い距離を調節でき、その分根掛りを外し易い。更には、第2中竿に釣糸導入部を設けているため、第1中竿に釣糸導入部を設けている場合と比べ、両中竿を引出してて使用する場合は、釣糸が外部に出ている距離が長くなるため糸抵抗が小さくなる。また、第2中竿の釣糸導入部と第1中竿先端との距離が握持可能な程度以上に長い場合と比べ、釣糸導入部が糸通し作業時に竿を保持した手元により近く、作業がし易い。

請求項2でも、第1と第2の中竿を収納保持した状態で、釣糸導入部を握持することにより第1と第2の2本の中竿を握持可能な長さ突出させているため、また、第1中竿先端からリール脚固定装置までの距離が50cm以下に設定されているため、第1中竿直前の第2中竿を握持できる位置とリール脚固定装置との距離は60cm程度となり、釣り操作をしている前側の手で第2と第1の中竿の突出部を、夫々順次に握持して迅速に引出すことができ、根掛りした場合に第2、第1の順序で中竿を迅速に引出せば(何れか一方のみ引出しても可)、これにより釣竿を長くして先方向に突き出せ、根掛りを迅速に外せる可能性が高くなる。また、2本を迅速に引出すことができるように構成されているため、1本の場合と比べて迅速性を失わずにより長い距離を調節でき、その分根掛りを外し易い。また、第1中竿の釣糸導入部と元竿先端との距離が握持可能な程度以上に長い場合と比べ、糸通し作業時に釣糸導入部が竿を保持した手元により近く、作業がし易い。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を添付図面に示す実施形態例に基づき、更に詳細に説明する。
図1は請求項1の形態例であり、元竿50に対して第1中竿52が、第1中竿に対して第2中竿54が、第2中竿に対して第3中竿56が、第3中竿に対して第4中竿58が、第4中竿に対して穂先竿60が、夫々振出可能に収納されている。特に、第1中竿52は保持部52Hを介して元竿50に保持され、第2中竿54は保持部54Hを介して第1中竿52に保持されている。従って、第1と第2の中竿を収納した状態で釣りができる。なお、必要ならば第1中竿はその後端部を元竿本体やその尻栓50Sにも保持させ、保持状態を安定させることができる。第2中竿の後端部も尻栓50Sを含む元竿や第1中竿によって保持し、安定させることができる。逆に、保持部52Hや54Hを無くして、尻栓50Sによって中竿の元側端部のみを保持してもよい。また、保持部52H等による第1中竿の保持力は、保持部54H等による第2中竿の保持力よりも強く構成している。保持力の差を、中竿の引出し力の値で1kg以上、好ましくは1.5〜3.5kg程度差を設ける。また、中竿を引出す際に回転させることが普通であるが、この回転方向保持力を第2中竿よりも第1中竿の方を大きくしておくと、第2中竿の引出し時に第1中竿が付いて来ることが防止できる。なお、各竿管はエポキシ樹脂等の合成樹脂をマトリックスとし、炭素繊維等の強化繊維で強化したFRP製である。

収納状態において第1中竿52は元竿先端から長さN3だけ突出しており、第2中竿54は、本形態例では第1中竿先端からN3よりも充分に長く突出している。第3中竿、第4中竿、穂先竿の各竿管は図示の如く、引出し可能な程度に僅かづつ突出した状態で第2中竿54内に収納されており、これらの細い竿管が不用意に障害物に当って損傷することが防止される。元竿50には後端部から距離N1の位置にリール脚固定装置62が設けられており、第2中竿54の第1中竿先端から距離N4だけ間隔をおいて釣糸導入部を設けている。即ち、セラミックス製ガイドリング70Gを有したブリッジ状の金属製フレーム70が設けられており、このフレームの内側にセラミックス製の長孔状ガイド68が設けられている。この形態例では、特にフレーム70を分解可能に構成して第2中竿を元竿の後端から抜き出して手入れを行ったり、部品を交換できるようにしてもよい。他の形態の釣糸導入部の場合も、同様に取外し可能に構成して、第2中竿が後方から抜き出せるように構成するとよい。

従って、第3中竿以降を振り出し継ぎ合わせし、リール脚固定装置に固定されたリールから引出された釣糸は、この2つのガイド70G,68を通って竿管内に導入され、穂先竿の先端トップガイドから外部に引出される。こうして釣りを行うが、リールから引出された釣糸が釣糸導入部を通過する前に、竿管表面に接触して糸抵抗が大きくなったり損傷することを防止するために、元竿先端と第1中竿先端に、夫々竿管表面から突出したリング状の膨出ガイド64,66を設けている。また、高さの高い一般的なガイドを設けたり、移動ガイドを配設してももよい。

第1中竿と第2中竿とを収納保持させた状態で釣りを行っている最中に根掛りを生じた場合に、これらの竿管を素早く引出して釣竿を伸長させ、これによって根掛りを外すべく、第1中竿52の元竿先端から突出した部位(長さN3の領域)と、第2中竿54の釣糸導入部の部位(長さN5の領域)とに、握持した際の滑り止め用の被膜や部材を設けている。これは表面を凹凸形状にしたり、柔軟部材を配設して握持性を良くする。最大限長くする操作では、まず、第2中竿を引出し、次いで第1中竿を引出す。第1中竿は第2中竿よりも強く保持されているため、第1中竿を保持した状態で第2中竿の引出しが円滑に行われる。

N3は5〜15cm程度、N5は5〜15cm程度、N4は握持できる必要がないため5cm程度以下、N1は30〜40cm程度、N2は20〜40cm程度、第1中竿の引出し操作を容易にする観点からN8は80cm以下が好ましく、更には60〜70cmが好ましいが、それ以下でもよい。N6は30〜50cm程度、釣糸導入部の中間位置とリール脚固定装置62との距離N7は60cm程度以下であって通常30cm程度以上であり、前後の腕の間には充分な伸長余裕が有り、N9は1m程度以下として、釣り操作中に根掛りしても、第2中竿を素早く引出せる。仕舞寸法N10は130cm程度か、それ以下であり、この形態例では第2中竿も該仕舞寸法と同じ程度の長さである。

第2中竿の釣糸導入部を第1中竿先端から握持できない程度の距離N4に設けたが、釣糸導入部(或いはN4+N5の領域)を握持できるため、引出し操作の迅速性に不都合はなく、糸通し作業の際には、元竿部を保持した一方の手に釣糸導入部が近くて糸通しが容易になる。また、釣りにおいてこの形態例のように第1と第2の2本の中竿を振出し可能に構成すれば、引出し調節可能な長さが長くできると共に、調節長さを2つに分割し、以上説明した長さに設定しているため、第2中竿はN9程度引出せばよく、第1中竿はN8程度引出せばよく、夫々を1本づつ迅速に引出せ、調節が迅速にできる。また、こうした引出された長い状態で釣りを行う場合は、釣糸は外部のフリーな区間が長くなり、その分釣糸抵抗が低減される。

なお、第1中竿を元竿に対して首吊式(元竿の後端まで収納しない手法)にして収納すれば、第1中竿の引出し長さは元竿50の長さN8よりも短くでき、また、第2中竿を第1中竿に対して首吊式にして収納すれば、第2中竿の引出し長さは長さN9よりも短くできる。更には、第2中竿を引出す際の握持では、釣糸導入部を握持するが、ここは上下方向に長い断面非円形であり、握持しての引出し操作がし易い。また、下記の第2形態例と同様に、収納した状態の第2中竿の突出長さが長い(釣糸導入部の前側領域が長い)ため、第3中竿から前方の各竿管が中に収納保護される。第2中竿の後端が元竿の中間位置で終端している形態では、第3中竿以降は第2中竿と第1中竿や元竿によって収納されて同様に保護される。

なお、本願では釣糸導入部の形態は任意であり、例えば、ブリッジ状の金属製フレーム70を無くして、ガイドリング70Gは長孔状ガイド68の後ろに設けた立設部材(折り畳み式でもよい)に装着させてもよい。また、ねじ等の固定部材でガイドリング70Gを立設部材に装着して、釣糸が垂直方向に入射するようにその立設角度を調節したり、更には、立設部材を筒状リールシート部材と同様な構造にして、竿管上を移動保持固定可能に構成してもよい。

図2は第2形態例であり、主として第1形態例との相違を説明する。同一記号で表示したものは同一部材や同一寸法である。元竿50の先端から突出した第1中竿52の先部領域に釣糸導入部が設けられており、この釣糸導入部は元竿先端から、握持できない程度、即ち、手の幅(8〜9cm程度)より狭い間隔N4を隔てて設けられ、釣糸導入部の直前は継合部であり、継合部長さN11は5〜15cm程度である。第2中竿54の第1中竿先端からの突出長さN14は、第1中竿の突出長さN13よりも充分に長く、2倍程度以上であり、30〜60cm程度である。第1中竿先端からリール脚固定装置までの距離N6’は50cm以下に設定されており、第1中竿先端直前の第2中竿領域に滑り止め用の被膜や部材を設けた握持部を形成し、この握持部長さN12はN5の長さ程度でよく、その中心位置とリール脚固定装置62との距離N7’は60cm程度以下となり、第1中竿の長さN9’(概ね第2中竿の収納長さ)は第1形態例のN9と同程度であり、釣り操作中に根掛りを外すため第2中竿と第1中竿を順次迅速に引き出すことが可能となる。

第2中竿が釣竿の仕舞寸法N10に近い長さを有している本形態例では、第3中竿以降の竿管が殆ど第2中竿内に収納され、保護される。第2中竿の後端が元竿の中間位置で終端している形態では、第3中竿以降は第2中竿と第1中竿や元竿とによって収納されて同様に保護される。また、糸通し作業では、第2中竿を引出して第1中竿の先端部の継合部に継合わせ、この状態で長孔状ガイド68を介して釣糸や糸通し具を挿入すれば、第2中竿の後端に挿通させ易い。この場合、第2中竿の後端に、ガイドリングを保持するために通常設ける栓体の後側開口形状を、後方に向って漸次拡径させて第1中竿継合部の内周面に至る程度に形成すれば、更に糸通しが容易になる。

中通し釣竿は、釣糸が絡み難い等の理由で多用されるようになっている反面、釣りの前には釣糸を竿管内に挿通させる準備作業が有り、これは結構煩わしいものである。また、釣糸が竿管内部の狭い空間を挿通するため、釣糸抵抗が小さくなるように設計することが必要であるが、この他、仕掛けが根掛りした場合や、その他釣り場の条件によって、釣竿の長さ調節をして釣り操作を行いたい場合が生ずる。
こうした釣糸挿通準備作業を如何に容易、かつ迅速にさせるか、或いは、釣りの最中での釣竿長さ調節を如何に快適、かつ迅速に行えるか、更には、長さ調節を行っても釣糸抵抗の低減を如何に図るかは、上記中通し釣竿の特性を活かして中通し釣竿を有効に使用できるか否かに係る重要な事項である。
そこで、釣糸挿通作業を容易、迅速にさせて、中通し釣竿の長所を活かした釣りを行えるようにした中通し釣竿の提供を1つの目的とする。
また、釣糸抵抗を低減させつつ、長さ調節を快適、かつ迅速に行える中通し釣竿の提供を2つ目の目的とする。

上記1つ目の目的達成手段は、リール脚固定部を有する元側竿管に振出式に継ぎ合わされる中竿の長さが前記元側竿管の長さよりも長く、該中竿には釣糸を内部に導入する釣糸導入部が設けられており、該中竿は前記元側竿管の後端近くまで収納可能であり、該後端近くまで中竿を収納した状態において前記釣糸導入部が元側竿管の外に出ており、かつ、釣糸導入部は釣竿の仕舞全長の前後の略30%を除いた中間領域に位置しており、前記釣竿の仕舞全長が略130cm以下であることを特徴とする中通し釣竿を提供する。
また2つ目の目的達成手段は、リール脚固定部を有する元側竿管に振出式に継ぎ合わされる中竿の長さが前記元側竿管の長さよりも長く、該中竿には釣糸を内部に導入する釣糸導入部が設けられており、該中竿は前記元側竿管の後端近くまで収納可能であり、該後端近くまで中竿を収納した状態において前記釣糸導入部が元側竿管の外に出ており、かつ、前記リール脚固定部から元側竿管の前端までの距離は元側竿管の前端から釣糸導入部までの距離よりも短いことを特徴とする中通し釣竿を提供する。

前者では、釣糸導入部から糸通し作業を行う際には、この釣糸導入部付近を把持して行うが、釣糸導入部が仕舞状態の釣竿の前後の略30%を除いた中間領域に位置しているため、把持した場合に釣竿のバランスが採れ、糸通し作業が容易になる。仕舞全長Lが130cm以下であるため、一方の手で釣糸導入部付近を把持した状態において、釣糸導入部の設けられた中竿に収納された他の竿管の先端部を他方の手で摘んで、前記一方の手を持ち変えることなく他の竿管の後端が釣糸導入部の近くに位置するまで一気に引き出すことができ、非常に簡便に糸通し可能状態に設定できる。
また、内部の見えるタイプの釣糸導入部では、釣糸導入部付近を把持した一方の手を目に近づけて竿管を引き出す作業を釣糸導入部から覗きながら行え、より迅速に行える。

釣り場の条件によって元側竿管に釣糸導入部のある中竿を収納した短い状態でも釣りを行うことがあり、この場合でもリール脚固定部と釣糸導入部との距離を長くして釣糸導入角度を小さくし、これにより釣糸抵抗を低減させると好ましい。それと共に、この短い状態で釣りを行っている最中に、例えば仕掛けが根掛りした場合等に釣竿を長くしたい場合があり、釣り状態で迅速に長くできれば好ましい。釣糸導入角度を考慮してリール脚固定部と釣糸導入部との距離が所定の距離であれば、あとは必要に応じて長く引き出す場合に迅速にできるだけ長く引き出せる構造が好ましく、このため後者では、前記リール脚固定部から元側竿管の前端までの距離は元側竿管の前端から釣糸導入部までの距離よりも短く設定しており、釣り状態においてこの中竿を引き出す場合には、元側竿管のリール脚固定部を把持している一方の手をそのままにして他方の手を元側竿管前端直前領域の中竿を握って引き出せば長く引き出せるが、この場合、釣人の両腕の広げ間隔が所定であるため、リール脚固定部から元側竿管前端までの距離が短ければ短い程一気に引き出せる長さを長くでき、引き出しの自由度が大きくなる。

上記前者と後者の観点から、添付図面に示す実施の形態例に基づき、以下更に詳細に説明する。
図3は1つ目の形態例を示す。元竿10にはリールを固定するリール脚固定部10Rが設けられており、後端には尻栓10Aが螺着されている。この元竿10に振出式に収納される第1中竿12は元竿の後端近くまで収納可能であり、その長さは元竿10の長さよりも相当に長く、仕舞った状態が図3の如くである。この中竿12には釣糸導入部20が設けられており、収納状態で元竿10から外に出ている。この釣糸導入部20は、第1中竿12に設けられた長孔に装着した長孔を有するセラミックス等の硬質ガイドリング22と、その上方を覆うように配設されたブリッジ状の金属製フレーム26と、このフレームの後部に装着されたセラミックス等の硬質のガイドリング24とを有している。このガイドリング24は元竿先端外周よりも高い位置に設けられており、このように第1中竿12を元竿10に収納した短い状態で釣りを行う際に、釣糸が元竿先端部に接触して釣糸抵抗が大きくなることを防止している。

上記第1中竿12には、第2中竿が、その第2中竿には第3中竿が、この第3中竿には穂先竿が夫々振出式に収納されており、第2中竿の先端部には支持部14Sが、第3中竿の先端部には支持部16Sが、穂先竿にはトップガイド18Tが夫々螺着されており、これら各被収納竿管は各収納竿管の先端に係止して突出しており、各竿管を指で摘んで容易に出し入れ操作できる。また、第1中竿12は釣糸導入部20よりも後方位置に保持部12Bを設けており、元竿10の先端部に係止させて収納状態を保持すると共に、後端部を元竿後端部にも係止している。従って、ガタつかず、釣糸挿通作業等が容易に行える。

前記釣糸導入部20は、仕舞状態の釣竿の全長Lの前後略30%の領域LF,LRを除いた残り中間領域Zに配設する。こうすれば、釣糸挿通作業時に、この釣糸導入部を把持した場合に釣竿の前後のバランスが採れ、作業が容易になる。この全長Lは略130cm以下、好ましくは125cm以下、更に好ましくは120cm以下に設定する。仕舞全長Lが130cm以下であるため、一方の手で釣糸導入部20付近を把持した状態において、第1中竿12に収納された第2中竿等の先端部14S,16S,18Tを他方の手で摘んで、前記一方の手を持ち変えることなく第2中竿等の後端が釣糸導入部20の近くに位置するまで一気に引き出すことができ、非常に簡便に糸通し状態に設定できる。

図4は2つ目の形態例を示す。(a)は元竿10に図3の場合と同様に第1中竿12を収納した状態の図であり、(b)は引き出した状態の図である。図3の場合と同様に、元竿10にリール脚固定部10Rが設けられており、第1中竿12には釣糸導入部20が設けられている。この第1中竿12を収納した状態の元竿前端の直ぐ前になるように、保持部12Bの直前に握り部12Aを形成している。他の穂先竿等は図示を省略している。この握り部はスクリーン印刷等の印刷、滑り止め塗装によるか、或いは握り部材を配設して形成したり、単なる目印であってもよい。この握り部12Aは保持部12Bの前側であるため、第1中竿12を収納する際に握り部を握った手が元竿10の前端部内に狭まれて怪我をすることが防止される。

▲1▼釣り場の状況にあわせて(a)のように第1中竿12を収納した状態において釣りを行う場合にも、リール脚固定部10Rと釣糸導入部20との距離L1が長い程、釣糸の導入角度が小さくなって釣糸抵抗が小さくなるため好ましいが、収納状態であるため長さL1に限りがあり、所定の長さに設定される。その長さL1は、リール脚固定部10Rから元竿10の前端までの距離L2と元竿の前端から釣糸導入部20までの距離L3との和であるが、L2をL3よりも短く設定すると好ましい。好ましくは1/2以下に設定する。

その理由は、(a)の状態で釣りを行っている最中に仕掛けが根掛りした場合等のように、第1中竿12を引き出したい場合には、元竿のリール脚固定部を把持している一方の手をそのままにして他方の手を元竿前端直前領域の第1中竿握り部12Aを握って引き出せば長く引き出せるが、この場合、釣人の両腕の拡げ間隔は所定であるため、リール脚固定部10Rから元竿10前端までの距離L2が短ければ短い程一気に長い距離L4引き出せ、引き出しの自由度が大きくなる。
▲2▼引き出した状態でのリール脚固定部10Rと握り部12Aとの距離L5は釣人の両腕の拡げ幅を考慮して130cm以下、好ましくは125cm以下、更に好ましくは120cm以下に設定するとよい。この長さ以上では、引き出し操作において手を持ち変える必要が有り、一気に引き出せず不便である。
こうして引き出された状態のリール脚固定部10Rと釣糸導入部20との距離はL1+L4であり、更に釣糸導入角度が小さくなり、釣糸抵抗が低減する。
