Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a tire provided with a serrated pattern decoration portion having ridges arranged side by side on a sidewall surface, and a mark is displayed in a bag character by the discontinuity portion by providing the discontinuity portion in the ridge. About.
[0002]
[Background Art and Problems to be Solved by the Invention]
In order to improve the visibility of the mark a made up of letters, numbers, figures, etc., as shown in FIG. The decorative portion c is formed as a background of the mark a, and the mark a is composed of a high rib element a1 that protrudes outward from the ridge b as shown in FIG. The element a1 has a contrivance such as a smooth surface or a serration pattern different from that of the decorative portion c.
[0003]
However, the sidewall is one of the parts that are most easily bent and deformed during traveling. Therefore, when the mark a is composed of the rib element a1, a crack or the like is caused in the mark a due to bending fatigue. It tends to cause deterioration in appearance and durability. Moreover, since the bag-shaped part d enclosed by the high rib element a1 is formed in the mark a, there is also a problem that the dirt removal property is deteriorated and the dirt is not easily removed. Furthermore, when creating a molding die for a tire, in addition to cutting for forming serrations (decoration part c), cutting for forming a mark is required, which hinders improvement in processing efficiency.
[0004]
Therefore, the present invention secures the visibility of the mark based on the fact that the ridge of the decorative portion formed by arranging the ridge is provided with a cut-off portion and the mark is displayed in a bag character shape by the cut-off portion. However, an object of the present invention is to provide a tire that can prevent the occurrence of cracks and the like and improve the mud repellency, and can improve the machining efficiency by reducing the cutting process to the mold.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention of claim 1 of the present application forms on the surface of a tire sidewall a decorative portion comprising serrations in which small ridges protruding from the surface are juxtaposed and extending in the circumferential direction. With
The ridge is provided along the outline of the mark to provide a break to display the mark in a bag character shape,
In addition, the surface is characterized by being flush with a continuous portion including the interrupted portion and the bottom surfaces between the ridges on both sides sandwiching the interrupted portion.
[0006]
The invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that the ridge extends in a direction within an angular range of ± 45 ° with respect to the radial line with the radial line as a center .
[0007]
The invention of claim 3 is characterized in that the decorative portion has an annular shape that goes around a tire axis .
[0008]
The invention according to claim 4 is characterized in that the inner and outer ridges separated from each other have the same cross-sectional shape and are arranged on the same straight line.
[0009]
The invention according to claim 5 is characterized in that the inner and outer ridges separated by the discontinuity have different cross-sectional shapes and are arranged on the same straight line .
[0010]
The invention according to claim 6 is characterized in that the outer ridges separated from each other by the discontinuity have different arrangement densities or cross-sectional shapes.
[0011]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a side view showing a part of a sidewall of a tire according to the present invention.
In FIG. 1, a tire 1 includes a decorative portion 5 formed of a serration 4 in which a ridge 3 is arranged in parallel on a surface 2S of a sidewall 2, and a discontinuous portion 6 is provided in the ridge 3. The mark 7 is displayed as a bag character.
[0012]
The decorative part 5 is a belt-like body extending around the tire axis in the circumferential direction, and is continuous over the entire circumference of the tire so as to schematically show only the outline of the decorative part 5 in FIGS. Further, it may be an annular shape, or may be an arc shape arranged in a part or a plurality of parts of one round of the tire.
[0013]
The ridge 3 is a narrow ridge that protrudes from the surface 2S of the sidewall 2 at a small height. In this example, the apex angle α is approximately 90 °, as schematically shown in cross section in FIG. A substantially trapezoidal shape with the top portion chamfered by a surface substantially parallel to the surface 2S or a circular arc surface is illustrated. However, without being limited thereto, various conventional cross-sectional shapes can be appropriately employed, and the ridge height ha of the ridge 3 can be preferably in the range of 0.2 to 0.8 mm. .
[0014]
The ridges 3 are arranged with a constant angle θ with respect to the radial line R of the tire, as shown in an enlarged view in FIG. 2, whereby vertical stripes serrations substantially parallel to the adjacent ridges 3 are arranged. 4 is formed. At this time, the ridges 3 must be arranged at a constant pitch interval P, and the pitch interval P at the inner edge position 5a in the radial direction of the decorative portion 5 is 1.0 mm or less, which is smaller than the conventional one. From the viewpoint of the visibility of Chapter 7, it is preferable.
[0015]
Further, the angle θ of the ridge 3 is preferably within a range of ± 45 °. If the angle θ exceeds this range, the ridge 3 is excessively inclined and cutting is difficult, and the pitch interval P is the radius of the decorative portion 5. It becomes disadvantageous to the visibility of the mark 7 such as being excessive on the outer edge side in the direction. In this example, the angle θ is set to approximately 20 °.
[0016]
In this embodiment, the ridge 3 is provided with a break portion 6, and the mark 7 is displayed by the break portion 6. Specifically, the discontinuous portion 6 is formed along the outline of the mark 7, thereby displaying the mark 7 in a bag character shape.
[0017]
At this time, the sidewall surface 2S is flush with the groove bottom 10S between the ridges 3 and 3 and the discontinuity 6 in a continuous manner. In other words, the groove bottom 10S and the discontinuity 6 are formed on the sidewall surface. 2S is formed on the same surface.
[0018]
As described above, since the discontinuity 6 for displaying the mark 7 is flush with the sidewall surface 2S, the mark 7 is not cracked by bending fatigue, and appearance and durability can be prevented from being deteriorated. . Further, since there is no conventional bag-shaped portion d (shown in FIG. 7A) in the mark 7, the tire can be easily cared for, for example, with good mud-repelling properties and easy removal of dirt.
[0019]
In addition, the appearance of the mark 7 is changed to a hidden character shape such that the cut portion 6 appears to be connected depending on the viewing angle, that is, a part or all of the mark 7 appears or disappears depending on the viewing angle. Therefore, it is rich in unexpectedness and can give visibility different from the conventional one, such as giving a strong impression to the viewer.
[0020]
Further, such a cut portion 6 can be formed by cutting a ridge groove by floating a cutting tool when cutting a ridge groove for forming a ridge in a molding die. That is, the machining efficiency can be improved, for example, the cutting process for the mold can be reduced, for example, the marking cutting process using a special cutter is not required.
[0021]
In particular, in this example, the discontinuous portion 6 is formed in one ridge 3 extending in a straight line from the inner edge to the outer edge in the radial direction of the decorative portion 5. That is, the case where the inner and outer ridges 3i and 3o of the mark 7 across the discontinuity 6 have the same cross-sectional shape and are arranged on the same straight line is illustrated. In such a case, the processing efficiency can be further improved.
[0022]
Further, in the ridge 3, in order to improve the visibility of the mark 7, the arrangement density or the cross-sectional shape of the inner and outer ridges 3 i and 3 o separated by the discontinuity 6 can be changed. 5A and 5B illustrate a case where the arrangement density is the same and only the cross-sectional shape is changed.
[0023]
In FIG. 5A, ridges 3i and 3o have cross-sectional shapes that are symmetrical to each other, and the gradient of the ridge surface 3S is different, thereby giving a change in light contrast. In FIG. 5B, the ridge 3i is provided with an extension B2 below the main part B1 which is the same as the cross-sectional shape A of the ridge 3o, and the ridge height ha is increased only by the extension B2. Yes. This can ensure high machining efficiency, for example, both can be formed by using the same cutting tool and changing only the cutting depth.
[0024]
FIG. 6 illustrates the case where the ridges 3i and 3o have the same cross-sectional shape and only the arrangement density is different. In such a case, one arrangement density is an integral multiple of the other (in this example, twice). ) and it is preferable to, thereby, Ru bovine ensuring high machining efficiency.
[0025]
The particularly preferred embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above. However, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment. For example, a mark 7 displayed by the interrupted portion 6 in the decorative portion 5. In addition to the above, various conventional marks displayed by the rib elements can be provided, and various modifications can be made.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, there is a break in the ridge forming the decorative portion, and the mark is displayed in a bag character shape by the break, so that cracks and the like are generated while ensuring the visibility of the mark. Can be prevented and mud repellency can be improved. In addition, the machining efficiency can be improved, for example, the cutting process for the mold can be reduced.
[0027]
Also, the mark is highly unexpected and can give a strong impression to the viewer.
