Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a connection structure between a shower head and a hose.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 4 shows a known connection structure for a hose for supplying hot water from a shower head and a faucet used in a bathroom, a wash basin or a sink. Referring briefly to FIG. 4, the connecting tube 21 coupled to the tip of the bellows-like hose 20 has a male screw portion 22 on the outer peripheral surface, and the shower head 24 has a female screw on the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical handle portion 25. In a state in which the portion 26 is formed and the watertight seal member 23 is attached to the outer periphery of the male threaded portion 22 of the connecting tube 21, the connecting tube 21 is inserted into the handle portion 25, and the male threaded portion 22 is inserted into the female threaded portion of the shower head 24. The hose 20 is connected to the shower head 24 by being screwed to 26.
[0003]
In the above, in order to connect the shower head and the hose, the male screw portion of the connecting tube coupled to the tip of the hose is screwed to the female screw portion formed on the inner peripheral surface of the shower head. It had to be rotated many times, and it took time for the connection work, and the workability was poor.
[0004]
In addition, since the shower head needs to have a long female thread on the inner peripheral surface of the handle, it is necessary to lengthen the overall length of the handle and increase the outer diameter. In addition, it was difficult to make the entire shower head compact, which was a design constraint.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to make it possible to quickly connect the shower head and the hose, and to make the shower head compact to improve the feeling of use and aesthetics.
[0006]

The hose is connected to the shower head by being inserted into the flow path from the opening and engaged with the locking groove of the connecting member.
[0007]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, the ring is removable from the locking groove of the connection member.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
The shower head 1 according to the present invention has a hollow bent shape as shown in FIG. 1, and a flow path 2 through which hot water passes is formed inside the tip, and water discharge for discharging hot water to the outside at the lower part of the flow path 2. An opening 3 to which the member 4 is mounted is formed, and a cylindrical handle portion 5 formed at the base end for connecting a hose 17 to be described later accommodates the cylindrical cylindrical member 7 in a connection hole 6 formed inside. The cylindrical member 7 is provided with serrations 7a on the inner peripheral surface, and an annular wall 8 is formed between the cylindrical member 7 and the flow path 2, and a tip of a connecting member 10 to be described later is formed on the wall 8. Is inserted into the flow path 2.
[0009]
The connecting member 10 has a substantially cylindrical shape with a hot water passage 11 formed therein, a large diameter portion 12 coupled to the tip of the hose 17, a protrusion at the tip of the large diameter portion 12, and a slightly smaller diameter than the large diameter portion 12. And a ring-shaped flange 14 formed between the large-diameter portion 12 and the small-diameter portion 13 so as to have a larger diameter than the large-diameter portion 12, and the flange 14 is a wall of the shower head 1. 8 has a larger diameter than the insertion hole 9 formed in the hole 8, and thus cannot be inserted through the insertion hole 9. However, since the small-diameter portion 13 is formed to have a smaller diameter than the insertion hole 9, the insertion hole 9 is inserted through the insertion hole 9. Can face the flow path 2. A locking groove 13a and an annular groove 13b are formed in an annular shape on the outer peripheral surface of the substantially distal end of the small diameter portion 13 from the distal end, and a sealing material 13c for preventing water leakage is attached to the annular groove 13b. A ring 16 (to be described later) can be engaged with the locking groove 13 a facing the flow path 2 from the opening 3 of the shower head 1.
[0010]
The ring 16 is formed of an elastic material and bent into a substantially U shape, and has an outer diameter larger than the insertion hole 9 formed in the wall 8 of the shower head 1 as shown in FIG. If the ring 16 is engaged with the locking groove 13 a of the connecting member 10, the connecting member 10 is connected to the shower head 1, and the hose 17 does not come out of the shower head 1.
[0011]
The hose 17 is sandwiched between an inner synthetic resin hose 17a and a metal hose 17b which covers the synthetic resin hose 17a and has a large number of spiral concave and convex grooves 17c formed on the outer peripheral surface at regular intervals. A groove 18 a is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the fixed cylinder 18, and a retaining ring 19 in which a notch is formed is elastically attached to the groove 18 a so as to protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the fixed cylinder 18. Since the connecting member 10 has a groove 15 in which the retaining ring 19 is elastically mounted on the inner peripheral surface of the passage 11 formed on the inner periphery of the large-diameter portion 12, the tip of the hose 17 is When inserted into the passage 11 of the connecting member 10, the retaining ring 19 is elastically mounted in the groove 15, so that the connecting member 10 is rotatable with respect to the hose 17 and is not easily detached.
[0012]
In order to connect the hose 17 having the connecting member 10 connected to the tip to the shower head 1, the connecting member 10 is first inserted into the connecting hole 6 of the shower head 1 as shown in FIG. 2. Then, the flange portion 14 of the connection member 10 contacts the cylindrical member 7, and the small diameter portion 13 passes through the insertion hole 9 of the wall 8 and faces the flow path 2.
[0013]
Next, when the ring 16 is inserted from the opening 3 of the shower head 1 toward the flow path 2 and is elastically engaged with the locking groove 13 a of the connection member 10, the connection member 10 is connected to the shower head 1. .
[0014]
And as shown in FIG. 3, if the water discharging member 4 is attached to the flow path 2 from the opening part 3 of the shower head 1, the connection of the shower head 1 and the hose 17 will be complete | finished.
[0015]
In order to remove the hose 17 from the shower head 1, the water discharge member 4 attached from the opening 3 of the shower head 1 is removed, a finger is inserted into the flow path 2, and the ring 16 is pulled out from the connection member 10. Can be easily disassembled by simply pulling it out of the shower head 1. Therefore, when the hose is damaged or only the shower head is replaced, it can be easily disassembled and replaced.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
In this invention, in Claim 1, the hose which combined the connection member by which the latching groove was formed in the outer peripheral surface with the front-end | tip, the connection hole into which the said connection member is inserted, and the water discharging member which discharges hot water outside to a flow path A shower head formed with an opening for mounting, and a ring that engages with a locking groove of the connection member, and the connection member is inserted so as to face the flow path from the connection hole of the shower head, and the ring is inserted. The hose can be connected to the shower head by being inserted into the channel from the opening and engaged with the locking groove of the connecting member. Accordingly, the shower head and the hose can be connected by a simple operation of simply engaging the ring with the engaging groove of the connecting member, and can be easily connected in a short time, thus greatly improving workability. In addition, unlike the conventional showerhead, there is no need to form a screw inside the handle, and it is connected to the connection member at the tip of the hose by a ring with a flow path, so it can be made compact and easily held in the hand. It can be used, and the degree of freedom of design increases, and the usability and aesthetics can be improved.
