本発明は、マンホール等の側壁に穿設した接続孔に排水管を接続する際に使用するゴム等の弾性部材からなるマンホール継手であって、前記接続孔に挿入される外筒部の一端に側壁の外面に接着接合される外フランジを設けると共に、外筒部の内周側に外フランジの内周縁から延出した屈曲部を介して内筒部を一体的に設け、内筒部の内周面にはノコ歯状の突起が設けられており、また内筒部にスリーブ短管を嵌挿して内筒部のノコ歯状の突起の外周側に巻回したバンドで緊締し、前記外筒部の内周側にセットしたバンドを拡張させて拡径した外筒部の外周面をブチルゴム等の接着剤を介して接続孔の内壁面に接合し、前記スリーブ短管にゴムリングを介して排水管を接続したことを特徴とする。

以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面にて詳細に説明する。
図1は本発明のマンホール継手の一実施例を示す断面図であって、図中1はマンホール等の側壁、2は排水管である。排水管2は通称リブパイプと呼ばれている合成樹脂管であって、その外周面には軸方向に対して一定間隔毎にフランジ状のリブが設けられている。3はマンホール継手、4は塩化ビニル樹脂等の合成樹脂からなるスリーブ短管であって、該スリーブ短管4の内径は前記排水管2の外径よりも若干大き目に形成されている。
