上記課題を解決するため本発明は、上延長部(14)と下延長部(16)とを所定間隔離隔して連結部(18)により連結し、上延長部(14)の先端側には発光素子(20)を発光できるように埋設し、下延長部(16)の先端側には受光素子(22)を受光できるように埋設してなるフォトセンサユニット(10)に対して、透過性がよく、耐溶剤性があり、かつ枡形状をし、前記上延長部(14)および下延長部(16)の先端部側から前記発光素子(20)および受光素子(22)をカバーするよう装着できるようにしたフォトセンサ用カバー部材とした。

図1は、例えば自動券売機等の乗車券等の検知手段としてユニット形式にして用いられるフォトセンサユニット(10)の斜視図を示しており、図2は、本発明に係るフォトセンサ用のカバー部材(12)の開口部側から見た斜視図を示している。
