本発明では、空袋を開口状態に保持し、この開口側から手で持った葉菜類を袋中に挿入する袋詰め装置において、袋容器1から空袋を一枚宛取り出す袋取り出し機構2と、該袋取り出し機構2で取り出した空袋の袋口を開口状態に保持する袋開口保持機構3と、該袋中へ液体を霧状にして吹き込む液体吹き込み機構4とを設け、該液体吹き込み機構4は、液体噴出口25と、空気噴出口26を有するパイプ27が電動シリンダ28で空袋上方の略中央へ向けて往復移動可能に構成するとともに、該パイプ(27)を袋口の略中央へ移動させ、前記空気噴出口26から、まず空気のみを空袋中へ吹き込み後、液体噴出口25から液体を吹き込み、更に、パイプ(27)を元の位置に戻した後に、葉菜類の挿入を行うことを特徴とする葉菜類の袋詰め装置の構成とした。

前記袋詰め装置であれば、作業者は袋開口保持機構3で開口状態になった袋中へ所定量の葉菜類を手で持って挿入するだけでよいため、作業能率が向上する。
尚、空袋中にまず空気を吹き込んで袋を膨らませた後に液体を霧状にして吹き込むようにすれば、霧状になった液体が袋の内面にまんべんなく付着するため、葉菜類を袋の底までスムースに挿入できる。
また、袋中へ霧状にして吹き込む液体は水であれば葉菜類への水分補給ともなり、葉菜類がみずみずしくなって新鮮さが増す効果もある。
