【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記の如き手摺り用コーナージョイントによる手摺りの連結構造に於いては、一対のジョイント構成体の連結部が互いに当接されて連結されているので、連結部に捻りモーメントがかかったとき連結部がズレ易いという問題があった。

そこで本発明者は従来の欠点に鑑み鋭意研究の結果、構造強度に優れ、手摺りを任意の角度で接合することができる手摺りの連結構造を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明手摺りの連結構造は、一方の手摺り本体の一端に設けられた凸型連結具と他方の手摺りの一端に設けられた凹型連結具が回動自在に軸着された手摺りの連結構造に於いて、凸型連結具は手摺り本体に取着される基部とこの基部に突設された凸部からなり、この凸部は球体の上下が欠除された円盤状の形状となされ、凹型連結具は手摺り本体に取着される基部とこの基部に突設された凹部からなり、この凹部は球体の中央が円盤状に欠除された形状となされ、凸型連結具の凸部が凹型連結具の凹部に挿入されて凸部と凹部を貫通する連結軸により回動自在に連結され、連結された凸部と凹部により球体が形成されたもので、凸型連結具の凸部が凹型連結具の凹部に挟持されて連結されるので、構造強度に優れ、連結部に捻りモーメントがかかったときにも連結部がズレ難い。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照しながら本発明に付いて説明する。

手摺りの連結に於いては、一方の手摺りの端部に設けられた凹型連結具2の凹部23に他方の手摺りの端部に設けられた凸型連結具1の凸部13が挿入され、凹部23の上端から皿ビスが挿入され、凹部23の下部に螺着され、互いに重なり合った凸部13と凹部23が皿ビスを連結軸として、回動自在に軸着される。互いに重なり合った凸部13と凹部23は球を形成し、互いの連結具が任意の角度で連結されたときにも連結部の形状が変わらない。手摺りの使用の際、手摺り上に手を滑らせたときにも、連結部に鋭角突部がなく、安全で、手触りがよい。

上述の如く、本発明手摺りの連結構造は、一方の手摺り本体の一端に設けられた凸型連結具と他方の手摺りの一端に設けられた凹型連結具が回動自在に軸着された手摺りの連結構造に於いて、凸型連結具は手摺り本体に取着される基部とこの基部に突設された凸部13からなり、この凸部は球体の上下が欠除された円盤状の形状となされ、凹型連結具は手摺り本体に取着される基部とこの基部に突設された凹部からなり、この凹部は球体の中央が円盤状に欠除された形状となされ、凸型連結具の凸部が凹型連結具の凹部に挿入されて凸部と凹部を貫通する連結軸により回動自在に連結され、連結された凸部と凹部により球体が形成されたもので、凸型連結具の凸部が凹型連結具の凹部に挟持されて連結されるので、構造強度に優れ、連結部に捻りモーメントがかかったときにも連結部がズレ難い。又、連結される手摺りが任意の角度で連結でき、連結角度にかかわらず、連結部の形状が変わらない。又、連結部に球体が形成されるので、手摺りの使用の際、手摺り上に手を滑らせたときにも、連結部に鋭角凸部がなく、安全で、手触りがよい。
