この発明は、ケースにおける蓋の開閉装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、ケースに外開き式の蓋を取り付けるには、鋼製蝶番が使用されていた。またとくに外観上の凹凸を嫌う場合には、いわゆる通し蝶番を使用していた。そして、これらの蝶番をケース本体あるいは蓋に取り付ける方法としては、ボルト等の固定具を使用する場合と、溶接による場合とがあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記従来の前者のボルト等の固定具を使用する方法によれば、蝶番の取付作業に非常に手間がかかり、また後者の溶接による方法によれば、溶接機等の設備を必要とするとともに、高度な溶接技能が必要であり、これらいずれの場合も工数も多くかかるため、製造コストが高くつくという問題があった。また通常、複数の蝶番を使用するので、上記の従来法によれば、いずれの場合も蝶番の回転芯をそろえて、取付精度を出すのが非常に難しく、かつ部品点数が多いために管理が面倒であった。また外観を良くするために、目隠しや塗装など、余分な工数が必要となり、そのうえ、蝶番は鋼製で、個々の重量が重いため、ケース全体の重量が増大するとともに、鋼製蝶番は長期の使用により錆が発生するという問題があった。さらに溶接により蝶番を取り付けた場合には、ケースの構成パネルの外表面板を破損したときの修理にも非常に手間がかかるという問題があった。

この発明の目的は、上記の従来技術の問題を解決し、ケースの蓋の揺動兼取付機構を簡素化し、従来の鋼製蝶番の取付けが全く不要で、蓋の取付工数を削減することができて、取付け作業に手間がかからず、製作コストが安くつき、かつ部品点数が少ないために管理が容易であり、また蓋の全閉時に、蓋の取付部分の外面に凹凸のない円滑な外観を得ることができ、また蓋の取付精度が非常に高く、蓋の開閉をスムーズに行なうことができるとともに、錆の発生がなく、かつ軽量化を果たし得、しかもケース構成パネルの外表面板を破損したときも、修理を簡単に行なうことができる、ケースにおける蓋の開閉装置を提供しようとするにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は、上記の目的を達成するために、まず請求項1記載の発明は、ケースの開口部後縁の後壁パネル側枠部材に第1ヒンジ構成部が設けられ、ケースの開口部を覆う蓋の後縁部の側枠部材に第2ヒンジ構成部が設けられ、後壁パネル側枠部材の第1ヒンジ構成部が、該側枠部材より前方にのびる前方張出部と、前方張出部の内側に対向して設けられかつ断面円弧形の案内面を有する案内部とによって構成されて、第1ヒンジ構成部に、前方に向かって開口した開口部を有する第2ヒンジ構成部嵌込み用凹部が形成され、かつ前方張出部の基部寄りに嵌合凸部が設けられるとともに、前方張出部の先端寄り部分の内側に段状凸部が設けられて、段状凸部の後側に断面凹弧状の案内面が設けられ、蓋側枠部材の第2ヒンジ構成部が、後方にのびかつ内側面が断面円弧形の凸面部となされた後方張出部と、後方張出部の先端寄り部分から外方に突出しかつ先端に断面円弧形の端面を有する外方凸部とによって構成されて、第2ヒンジ構成部に、外方に向かって開口した開口部を有する第1ヒンジ構成部一部嵌込み用凹部が設けられるとともに、外方凸部の基部より後方張出部の先端部に至る嵌合凹部が設けられており、ケースの開口部後縁のパネル側枠部材の第1ヒンジ構成部の嵌込み用凹部に、蓋後縁部の側枠部材の第2ヒンジ構成部が嵌め合わせられて、蓋がケース開口部を覆う水平状態にあるときには、第1ヒンジ構成部の凹部内において、第2ヒンジ構成部の後方張出部の凸面部が案内部の断面円弧形の案内面に沿うように当接せしめられるとともに、案内部の基部寄りの嵌合凸部が第2ヒンジ構成部側の嵌合凹部に嵌め入れられ、かつ外方凸部先端の断面円弧形の端面が、第1ヒンジ構成部側の段状凸部に係り合わせられ、ケースの蓋が外側に開くさいには、蓋側枠部材の第2ヒンジ構成部の後方張出部の凸面部が、後壁パネル側枠部材の案内部の案内面に沿って移動するとともに、蓋が、第2ヒンジ構成部の外方凸部の先端を中心として揺動するようになされ、後壁パネル側枠部材 (11) の第1ヒンジ構成部 (12) の断面円弧形の案内面 (14a) を有する案内部 (14) に、これを前方に延長する短い突出部 (20) が設けられていて、該第1ヒンジ構成部 (12) の凹部 (19) の開口部 (18) の幅が、第2ヒンジ構成部 (22) の後方張出部 (23) の先端から外方凸部 (26) の先端までの幅より狭いものとなされており、後壁パネル側枠部材 (11) の第1ヒンジ構成部 (12) の嵌込み用凹部 (19) 内に嵌め入れられた蓋 (3) 側の第2ヒンジ構成部 (22) は、該凹部 (19) より脱出することができず、蓋 (3) はケース (1) より外れないようになされている、ケースにおける蓋の開閉装置を要旨としている。

上記において、請求項1記載のケースにおける蓋の開閉装置によれば、ケースの後壁パネル側枠部材に、蓋を取り付けるには、後壁パネル側枠部材の第1ヒンジ構成部の凹部に、蓋後縁部の側枠部材の第2ヒンジ構成部を、これの一端からスライドさせながら嵌め合わせ、側枠部材の第1ヒンジ構成部の凹部内に、蓋の第2ヒンジ構成部を嵌め入れれば良い。
