【0033】
なお、現在位置の緯度、経度はWGS84(world geodetic system 1984)測地系による。

すなわち、待ち受け画像記憶部105は、Exif(Exchangeable Image File Format)形式で待ち受け画像データを記憶するとしても良い。
(JEITA CP-3451: Exchangeable image file format for digital still cameras: Exif version 2.2)を参照されたい。

In this way, even when the same latitude and longitude are associated with different standby images, these standby images can be distinguished and displayed according to altitude. This is effective, for example, when there are standby images associated with different floors in one building. Specifically, there is a case where a floor map is displayed as a standby image for each floor in a department store.
[0095]
(3) In the above embodiment, the standby

As shown in FIG. 9, according to the Exif format, latitude (latitude), longitude (longitude), and altitude (altitude) can be added as GPS attribute information. Exif format is HYPERLINK "http://e-words.jp/w/RGB.html" RGB uncompressed format and HYPERLINK "http://e-words.jp/w/JPEG.html" JPEG (Joint HYPERLINK "http://e-words.jp/w/E382B5E3839DE383BCE38388.html" supports multiple image formats such as Photographic Experts Group), so if you follow the Exif format, the standby image is as in the above embodiment. Data can be stored after data compression.
[0097]
For the Exif format, for example, a standard document issued by the Japan Electronic and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) (JEITA CP-3451: Exchangeable image file format for digital still cameras: Exif version 2.2) Please refer to.

[2] Second embodiment
Next, a mobile phone according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The mobile phone according to the present embodiment has the same configuration as that of the mobile phone according to the first embodiment, but the distance between the position associated with the standby image and the current position of the mobile phone is determined. The difference is that the image is displayed on the liquid crystal display panel together with the standby image.

[2-1] Modification according to the second embodiment
As described above, the present invention has been described based on the second embodiment. However, the following modifications can be implemented for the present embodiment.
(1) In the above embodiment, the
[0104]
Examples of the distance other than the Euclidean distance include a ground surface distance. The
[0105]
[Equation 9]
If the half-range angle obtained using the above equation is substituted into the following equation, the ground surface distance between two points can be obtained.
[0106]
[Expression 10]
As the value of the equator radius, for example, 6,378, 136 m, and as the value of the eccentricity of the earth, for example, 0.0167 may be used. Furthermore, if a highly accurate value is used, the distance between two points can be determined with higher accuracy.
[0107]
In this way, when the position associated with the standby image is particularly far away, the difference between the Euclidean distance and the distance from the ground surface becomes large. For example, the position is moved as the destination. In such a case, the travel distance can be known more accurately.
(2) In the above embodiment, the standby
[0108]
That is, the standby
For example, the standby image is displayed more clearly as the distance is smaller, and the standby image is blurred and displayed by averaging processing, etc. as the distance is larger, or the hue is reddish. The distance may be expressed by converting to a different color tone.
[0109]
In this way, for example, when the destination associated with the standby image is set as the destination, and the vehicle is going to the location, the destination is approaching from the state of the standby image displayed on the mobile phone. On the contrary, it is excellent because it is possible to visually detect not only the distance data but also whether the user is moving away from the destination.

[6] Modification
As described above, the present invention has been described based on the embodiment. However, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and the following modifications can be implemented.
(1) In the above embodiment, the current position information of the mobile phone is acquired using the GPS system. Alternatively, the position information of the mobile phone may be acquired using a method other than the GPS system. good.
[0170]
For example, the distance between each radio base station and a mobile terminal is calculated by simultaneously receiving radio waves transmitted from multiple radio base stations and measuring the propagation time difference of the radio waves transmitted from each radio base station To do. Then, the position of the mobile phone may be specified from the calculated distance using the principle of triangulation.
In the GPS system, radio waves from satellites cannot be received in environments with many buildings or indoors, so there are problems such as an increase in measurement error and inability to acquire position information. In the case of acquiring the position information using the radio wave, such a problem does not occur as long as the radio base station is installed.
[0171]
In place of the above, measure the strength of radio waves exchanged between the radio base station and the mobile phone, and analogize the distance between the radio base station and the mobile phone from the measured values obtained. The position information may be measured.
In this case, if the strength of the radio wave is measured in consideration of the reflected wave due to the topography or building around the radio base station or mobile phone, the building etc. around the radio base station or mobile phone Even when there are many obstacles, errors due to reflected waves can be suppressed.
[0172]
In this way, more accurate position information of the mobile phone can be acquired, and as a result of acquiring incorrect position information, a standby image that is completely unrelated to the current position of the mobile phone is displayed. Can be avoided. Therefore, a standby image more meaningful to the user can be displayed on the mobile phone.
[0173]
(2) In the above embodiment, the display of the standby image is updated at regular time intervals. Instead, the display may be as follows.
That is, when setting a timer value for a timer, instead of setting the same timer value every time, the timer value may be determined using a random number, and the determined timer value may be set for the timer.
[0174]
In this case, the random number may be a fixed value or a random number having an average value set by the user. In addition, a value by setting may be used for the variance value.
In this way, the display of the standby image is updated irregularly, so that the display of the standby image can be made timeless.
[0175]
Further, as the standby image to be displayed when the mobile phone is activated, the position information related to the current position may be acquired and the display of the standby image may be updated in the same manner as in the above-described embodiment. Further, at the time of activation, the same standby image may be always displayed, or the same standby image may be a standby image according to the setting of the user of the mobile phone.
[0176]
Further, when there are a plurality of standby images having the same degree of relationship at the current position of the mobile phone, the standby image having the highest relationship changes frequently depending on how the mobile phone is moved. Therefore, in such a case, if the time interval for updating the display of the standby image is shortened, a more appropriate standby image can be displayed and it is pleasant to the eye.
[0177]
For example, in the case where it is determined that the relationship is deeper as the distance between the position where the standby image is captured and the current position of the mobile phone is closer, the standby image captured at the location closest to the current position of the mobile phone The time for updating the display of the standby image may be controlled in accordance with the distance between the captured locations with the standby image captured at the next closest location.
[0178]
The longer the distance, the lower the possibility that the displayed standby image will be replaced with another standby image, and the closer the distance, the greater the possibility, so by executing such control, a more appropriate standby image can be obtained. An image can be displayed.
Further, the time interval for updating the display of the standby image may be controlled in accordance with the moving speed of the mobile phone. That is, it is considered that the higher the moving speed of the mobile phone, the greater the possibility that the standby image most closely related to the current position of the mobile phone will change.
[0179]
Therefore, the travel distance from the update of the previous standby image display to the update of the current standby image display, and the travel time from the update of the previous standby image display to the update of the current standby image display It is necessary to calculate the movement speed by dividing the calculated movement distance by the calculated movement time.
Then, the time until the display of the standby image is updated next may be determined in accordance with the obtained moving speed. In this case, as the moving speed of the mobile phone increases, the time until the standby image display is updated next is shortened. As the moving speed of the mobile phone decreases, the standby image display is updated next time. You can make the time longer.
[0180]
If so, the higher the moving speed of the mobile phone, the more likely it is that the standby image most closely related to the current position of the mobile phone will change. The lower the moving speed of the mobile phone, the higher the current position of the mobile phone. This is because there is a high possibility that the standby image most closely related to is difficult to change.
(3) In the above embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied exclusively to a mobile phone has been described. However, it goes without saying that the scope of application of the present invention is not limited to this, but PDA (personal data assistance) or PC It may be applied to (personal computer).
[0181]
In this case, the standby image may be displayed as a so-called wallpaper on a PDA or PC screen, or may be displayed as a so-called screen saver. However, due to the nature of the present invention, the PC needs to be movable. This is because if it is not movable, there is no opportunity to change the standby image based on the position information.
[0182]
(4) In the above embodiment, when the standby image is displayed, the case where only the standby image is displayed and the case where the composite image obtained by combining the standby image and the direction indication image is displayed are described. It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to this, and may be as follows.
That is, as described in the above embodiment, in the present invention, in order to select the standby image to be displayed, the distance between the current position of the mobile phone and the position associated with the standby image is calculated. The calculated distance may be displayed together with the standby image.
[0183]
Further, as described above, the standby image, the direction indication image, and the distance information may be displayed together as a standby image.
In this way, the distance to the position associated with the standby image becomes clear at a glance, and when the direction indication image is displayed together, the distance from the current position in what direction is the target. This is very convenient when you want to go to the place, or vice versa.
[0184]
(5) In the above embodiment, in order to display the direction from the current position of the mobile phone to the position associated with the standby image being displayed, a combined image obtained by combining the direction indication image with the standby image is displayed. However, instead of this, the following may be adopted.
That is, a composite image may be displayed in which a character string that displays a direction from the current position of the mobile phone to a position associated with the displayed standby image is combined with the standby image.
[0185]
For example, when the target position is in the north-northwest direction from the current position of the mobile phone, a composite image in which the character string “NNW” is combined with the standby image is displayed. A composite image in which the character string “ESE” is combined with the standby image may be displayed.
Also, for example, when the target position is in the 10 o'clock direction from the current position of the mobile phone, a composite image in which the character string “10:00” is combined with the standby image is displayed, or in the 8 o'clock direction. In some cases, a composite image in which the character string “8 o'clock” is combined with the standby image may be displayed.
[0186]
Here, the composite image includes an image obtained by superimposing two images in addition to an image obtained by superimposing two images.
Even if it does in this way, the same effect as the above-mentioned embodiment can be produced.
(6) In the above embodiment, the standby image data to be displayed as a standby image is switched according to the current position of the mobile phone, but it goes without saying that the present invention is not limited to this, It may be as follows.
[0187]
That is, when the standby image data to be displayed for the standby image is specified by the user, and the standby image data is displayed, the distance from the current position of the mobile phone to the position associated with the standby image data specified by the user The direction may be displayed together.
In this case, the display of the distance and direction is updated at regular intervals or irregularly. It is preferable that the update time interval is short.
[0188]
In this way, even when the standby image data associated with the position closest to the mobile phone changes, the user of the mobile phone can display the standby image data according to his / her designation as the standby image display. In addition, since the distance and direction to the position associated with the designated standby image data are updated and displayed as needed, it is convenient when going to the position.
[0189]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a plurality of standby image data are stored in the mobile phone, and the standby image data most closely related to the current position of the mobile phone is displayed from the stored plurality of standby image data. Therefore, it is possible to provide a mobile phone that displays a standby image that is more meaningful to the user, and therefore, a timeless image, and a standby image display method that displays a timeless standby image on the mobile phone.
[0190]
Therefore, for example, the user of the mobile phone according to the present invention can look back on the memories when the user captured the image by viewing the standby image. Further, when implementing the present invention, the user does not need to organize the standby images by himself / herself, so that many standby images that are not arranged can be enjoyed meaningfully without any trouble.
