Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mirror stay cover that covers an end portion of a mirror stay in which a wire harness is routed inside or outside.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The front end portion of the cab-over type truck is provided with a U-shaped or bow-shaped mirror stay having both upper and lower ends attached to the side of the front end of the vehicle body. One or more mirrors are provided on the vertical side portion of the stay, and recently, as this mirror, an electric mirror that can freely tilt the mirror vertically and horizontally is widely used. The electric mirror accommodates a drive device for freely tilting the mirror around the ball joint inside the casing. Conventionally, a harness composed of several wires for operating the drive device has been arranged along the mirror stay and fixed to the mirror stay by a number of band clips.
However, in the conventional mirror device, since the electrical wiring, that is, the harness for the electric mirror is arranged and exposed along the outer surface of the mirror stay, there is a drawback that the insulation coating deteriorates early, and other articles and There is a risk of disconnection due to contact. In addition, there is a problem that wind noise is likely to be generated due to vibration due to aerodynamic external force during high-speed traveling due to snowfall in winter and slack due to lack of clipping force, and the appearance is significantly impaired.
[0003]
In order to solve this problem, a method has been proposed in which a harness is accommodated inside a mirror stay that is usually formed of a steel pipe material (for example, FIG. 4 of Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-67844). When the harness is housed inside the stay, a through hole is made in the vicinity of the lower end of the mirror stay, the harness is pulled out from the inside of the stay, and the harness is removed from the through hole formed in the vehicle body near the end of the stay. It is pulled into the car body. Further, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-82673, a resin cover is attached to the vertical side portion of the mirror stay, and the harness is accommodated in a harness accommodating groove formed in the cover.
On the other hand, since the rearview mirror attached to the mirror stay as described above is provided so as to protrude from the vehicle body in the cab-over type truck, the mirror stay can be rotated to avoid interference between the rearview mirror and other members during turning. The rear-view mirror at the time of turning is configured to be retractable inside the rotation locus of the vehicle body.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, simply pulling the harness from the inside of the stay through the through hole and pulling the harness from the through hole or the lower end of the cover toward the vehicle body will cause the wire harness from the lower end of the through hole or the cover to the through hole to appear outside the vehicle body. There is a problem that the appearance is deteriorated and a wind noise is generated by receiving aerodynamic external force when the vehicle travels. In addition, when the mirror stay is pivotably mounted, the wire harness contacts the mirror stay mounting member each time the mirror stay is repeatedly rotated. Along with this, there is a problem that the lead wire is exposed and causes a short circuit.
An object of the present invention is to provide a mirror stay cover that is excellent in durability and reliability of a wire harness and excellent in appearance.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the invention according to claim 1, as shown in FIG. 1, an end portion is attached to a rotating shaft 14 a rotatably provided on the vehicle body 11 b by mounting members 16, 17, 18 so as to be rotatable together with the rotating shaft 14 a. By improving the cover for the mirror stay including the cover main body 22 covering the end of the mirror stay 12 and the cover fixing means 26 for fixing the cover main body 22 provided on the cover main body 22 and covering the end of the stay to the mirror stay 12. is there.
The characteristic structure is that the cover body 22 covers the mounting members 16, 17, 18 and the inner cover 22a surrounding the rotating shaft 14a and the outer cover 22b formed integrally with the inner cover 22a outside the inner cover 22a. The wire harness 19 that emerges from the through hole 11d formed in the vehicle body 11b near the stay end portion is routed to the stay over the inner cover 22a, and the outer cover 22b covers the through hole 11d. And a belt portion 22d surrounding the rotating shaft 14a is formed on the inner cover 22a, and the cover fixing means 26 is provided on the outer cover 22a. A cover main body 2 provided with a pair of rib-like objects 23a, 24a attached to the inner surface of the cover 22b and formed so as to oppose the concave portions 23c, 24c sandwiching the mirror stay 12. There is to configured to rotate together with the mirror stay 12.
[0006]
In the mirror stay cover according to the first aspect, the lower end portion of the mirror stay 12 is covered with the wire harness 19, and the end portion and the wire harness 19 are prevented from appearing outside so that the appearance of the cab 11 is improved. While improving, aerodynamic resistance is reduced at the time of vehicle travel. Here, since the wire harness 19 is covered with the outer cover 22b while being isolated from the mounting members 16, 17, and 18 by the inner cover 22a, the mirror stay mounting member even when the mirror stay 12 is rotated by the motor 14. The wire harness 19 does not come into direct contact with the 16, 17, 18 so that damage to the covering material of the wire harness 19 due to the contact can be prevented, and the durability and reliability of the wire harness 19 can be improved.
[0007]
The invention according to claim 2 is the invention according to claim 1, wherein the mirror stay 12 is made of a tubular body, and the wire harness 19 that emerges from the through hole 11d is formed in the vicinity of the end of the mirror stay 12. This is a mirror stay cover that is routed inside the stay through the hole 12c and that the outer cover 22b of the cover body 22 covers the through hole 11d and the through hole 12c.
In the mirror stay cover according to the second aspect, the lower end portion of the mirror stay 12 is covered with the wire harness 19 and is arranged inside the stay through the through hole 11d and the through hole 12c formed in the vicinity of the end portion of the mirror stay 12. It is possible to effectively prevent the found wire harness 19 from appearing outside.
[0008]
The invention according to claim 3 is the invention according to claim 1 or 2, and further, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the cover main body 22 is divided into two substantially vertically at the center and the right cover 23 and the left The cover 24 includes a locking claw 24b formed on one or both of the right cover 23 and the left cover 24, and either the left cover 24 or the right cover 23. Or it is a mirror stay cover provided with the to-be-latched hole or the to-be-latched recessed part 23b which is formed in both division | segmentation edge edges, and the latching claw 24b engages when the covers 23 and 24 are united.
In the mirror stay cover according to the third aspect, the cover main body 22 is used to perform the mirror operation by a relatively simple operation in which the right cover 23 and the left cover 24 are joined together by sandwiching the lower end portion of the mirror stay 12 together with the mounting member from the left and right. The end of the stay 12 can be covered relatively easily.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 5, a mirror stay 12 made by bending a tubular body into a substantially U-shape is attached to the front outer surface of the cab 11 of the truck. A pair of support stays 11a and 11a fastened at the tip are attached to the upper side of the front outer side surface of the cab 11, and the upper end of the mirror stay 12 is fastened by the pair of support stays 11a and 11a. It is pivotally supported at the tip. An electric rearview mirror 13 is supported on the vertical portion 12 a of the mirror stay 12. Inside the corner panel 11b continuing to the pillar 11c of the cab 11 is provided with a motor 14 (FIG. 1) for accommodating the rearview mirror 13 at the front side of the cab 11 during parking and stopping by rotating the mirror stay 12. Thereby, the eyeball part 12b which is an edge part is attached to the rotating shaft 14a, and the lower end of the mirror stay 12 is attached to the cab 11 which is a vehicle body.
[0011]
On the other hand, a through-hole 11d is formed in the corner panel 11b which is a vehicle body near the end of the mirror stay 12, and a through-hole 12c is also formed in the mirror stay 12 itself in the vicinity of the eyeball portion 12b which is the end. Bushings 15 for protecting the wire harness 19 are fitted into the through holes 11b and the through holes 12c, respectively. A wire harness 19 for driving the electric rearview mirror 13 passes from the inside of the vehicle body through the through hole 11d and appears outside the vehicle body, and is further routed into the mirror stay 12 through the through hole 12c. . Although not shown, the wire harness 19 routed inside the stay is connected to the electric rearview mirror 13 from the vertical portion 12a of the mirror stay 12 near the electric rearview mirror 13.
[0012]
As shown in FIGS. 1-4, the lower end part of the mirror stay 12 attached to the vehicle body by the attachment member is covered with the cover 21 for mirror stays with the attachment member. The mirror stay cover 21 is formed by molding a resin using a mold, and includes a cover body 22 that covers an end of the mirror stay 12 including the eyeball portion 12b. The cover main body 22 in this embodiment is constituted by a right cover 23 and a left cover 24 which are divided into two substantially vertically at the center (FIGS. 2 and 3), and the cover main body 22 is provided with mounting members 16, 17, 18. A double structure having an inner cover 22a covering the outer cover 22a and an outer cover 22b integrally formed with the inner cover 22a outside the inner cover 22a is configured (FIG. 1). The inner cover 22a is formed so as to cover a portion where the eyeball portion 12b is attached to the rotating shaft 14a with a slight gap when the right cover 23 and the left cover 24 are combined, and covers the large-diameter portion 14b of the motor 14. A belt portion 22d for surrounding and fixing is formed (FIGS. 1 and 3). In addition, a notch 22c that clamps the eyeball portion from the width direction is formed at the divided end of the inner sheath 22a (FIG. 4).
[0013]
As shown in FIG. 1, the outer cover 22b is formed so as to cover the through hole 11d and the through hole 12c, and the wire harness between the inner cover 22a and the outer cover 11b when the right cover 23 and the left cover 24 are combined. 19 is formed integrally with the inner cover 22a at a predetermined interval so as to accommodate the inner cover 22a. Here, since the mirror stay 12 in this embodiment can be rotated by the motor 14, the position of the mirror stay 12 differs between the normal use state and the housed state at the time of parking and stopping, and the mirror that rotates together with the mirror stay 12 The positions of the through holes 11d with respect to the stay cover 21 are also different. As shown in FIG. 3, for this reason, the outer cover 22b in the vicinity of the rotating shaft 14a of the motor 14 in this embodiment has a belt portion 22d that surrounds and fixes the large-diameter portion 14b of the motor 14 around the rotating shaft 14a. And coaxially formed. Then, the through hole 11d is formed between the belt portion 22d as the inner cover 22a and the outer cover 11b, and the mirror stay 12 rotates to move the through hole 11d as indicated by a solid line arrow in the figure. Even so, the through-hole 11d is always positioned between the inner cover 22a and the outer cover 11b.
[0014]
Further, the mirror stay cover 21 includes a cover fixing means 26 for fixing the cover main body 22 covering the end of the stay to the mirror stay 12. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the cover fixing means 26 in this embodiment includes rib-like objects 23 a and 24 a respectively attached to the inner surfaces of the right cover 23 and the left cover 24, and the divided edge of the left cover 24. The latching claw 24b is formed on the split end edge of the right cover 23, and the latched recess 23b is engaged with the latching claw 24b when the covers 23, 24 are combined. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the pair of rib-like objects 23a and 24a are attached to the inner surface of the outer cover 22b by resin molding integrally with the outer cover 22b. The pair of ribs 23a and 24a are formed so as to face each other when the covers 23 and 24 are combined with each other, and concave portions 23c and 24c for holding the lower end of the mirror stay 12 are opposed to each other. The recesses 23 c and 24 c are formed in accordance with the outer shape of the cross section of the mirror stay 12.
[0015]
In the mirror stay cover 21 configured as described above, the right cover 23 and the left cover 24 are combined so that the lower end portion of the mirror stay 12 is sandwiched from the left and right together with the mounting member. Then, when the latching claw 24b formed on the divided edge of the left cover 24 is elastically deformed and reaches the locked recess 23b formed on the divided edge of the right cover 23, the restoration is restored. The restored locking claw 24b engages with the locked recess 23b, and the covers 23 and 24 are united. When the covers 23 and 24 are combined, the recesses 23c and 24c of the pair of ribs 23a and 24a sandwich the mirror stay 12, and the cover body 22 including the right cover 23 and the left cover 24 is fixed to the mirror stay 12 and The end of the mirror stay 12 is covered.
[0016]
When the cover main body 22 covers the end of the mirror stay 12, the inner cover 22a of the cover main body 22 covers the mounting members 16, 17, and 18, and the outer cover 22b formed outside the inner cover 22a is the inner cover 22a. The wire harness 19 existing outside is accommodated. In this way, the mirror stay cover 21 covers the lower end portion of the mirror stay 12 together with the wire harness 19, prevents the end portion and the wire harness 19 from appearing outside, and improves the appearance of the cab 11. At the same time, aerodynamic resistance is reduced when the vehicle is running.
[0017]
In the above-described embodiment, the locking claw 24b is formed on the divided edge of the left cover 24, and the locked recess 23b that is engaged with the locking claw 24b is formed on the divided edge of the right cover 23. Although not shown, a locking claw may be formed on the right cover 23 and a locked recess may be formed on the left cover. Further, as long as the locking claw can be engaged, a locked hole may be formed instead of the locked recess.
[0018]
Moreover, in embodiment mentioned above, the example in the case where the wire harness 19 which passed through the through-hole 11d from the inside of the vehicle body and appeared on the outside of the vehicle body is routed inside the mirror stay 12 through the through-hole 12c is shown. However, as shown in FIG. 6, the wire harness 19 may emerge from the inside of the vehicle body through the through hole 11 d and be routed along the outside of the mirror stay 12. Even in such a case, the mirror stay cover 21 covers the lower end portion of the mirror stay 12 together with the wire harness 19, and prevents the end portion and the wire harness 19 from appearing outside so that the appearance of the cab 11 can be seen. While improving the above-mentioned appearance, aerodynamic resistance can be reduced when the vehicle is traveling. In this case, if a cover as shown by reference numeral 12d in the figure is attached to the mirror stay 12, the harness 19 is accommodated by the cover 12d, thereby preventing the entire portion of the wire harness 19 from appearing outside. Can do. Further, it is possible to prevent the wire harness 19 from coming into direct contact with the mirror stay mounting members 16, 17, and 18, and to prevent damage to the covering material of the wire harness 19 due to the contact. Reliability can be improved.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the wire harness is routed inside the stay from the through hole formed in the vehicle body near the stay end through the through hole formed in the vicinity of the stay end, and the mounting member A cover body is formed by an inner cover covering the outer cover and an outer cover formed integrally with the inner cover on the outer side of the inner cover to form a double structure, and the outer cover is formed so as to cover the through hole and the through hole, and Since it is configured to accommodate the wire harness between the inner cover and the outer cover, this mirror stay cover covers the lower end of the mirror stay together with the wire harness and prevents the end and the wire harness from appearing outside. Thus, the appearance of the cab can be improved and aerodynamic resistance can be reduced when the vehicle is traveling.
[0020]
In addition, since the wire harness is covered with the outer jacket while being separated from the mounting member by the inner jacket, the wire harness does not directly contact the mounting member of the mirror stay. Damage can be prevented and the durability and reliability of the wire harness can be improved.
Furthermore, the cover main body is divided into two substantially vertically at the center, and is constituted by a right cover and a left cover, and a cover fixing means is formed on one or both of the right cover and the left cover. A mirror stay provided with a claw and a locked hole or a locked recess that is formed on one or both split edges of the left cover or the right cover and engages with the locking claw when the covers are united. The end of the mirror stay can be covered relatively easily by the cover main body by a relatively simple operation in which the right cover and the left cover are combined with each other so that the lower end portion is sandwiched from the left and right together with the mounting member.
