Description
【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a paper folding apparatus in which a plurality of paper folding portions are disposed in a machine body, and a plurality of folding rollers and folding plate members fold a plurality of long belt-like sheets.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a paper folding device that can automatically fold a long belt-like sheet such as a letter, a letter of thanks, and a memorandum into a state of being folded many times, Japanese Patent Application No. 6-6 There are those described in 268916. This paper folding apparatus has a plurality of folding plate members, stoppers and a plurality of folding rollers as sheet folding means, and these are arranged in an appropriate number for the purpose of paper folding. This corresponds to the number of paper folds. When a sheet having a length shorter than the length of the long belt-like sheet is folded, the sheet is usually folded by changing the number of paper folding. That is, folding is performed with the number of foldings reduced. In order to reduce the number of folds, the conventional paper folding apparatus removes as many folding plate members as the number to be reduced from the arrangement position, and changes the paper discharge position to change the position of the paper receiving member. Moreover, when returning the number of folds to the original, the folded plate member previously removed was mounted again.
[0003]
Japanese Laid-Open Utility Model Publication No. 52-66222 discloses a paper folding apparatus capable of coping with a decrease in the number of folding accompanying a change in the number of folding. This conventional paper folding apparatus is provided with a plurality of multi-stage folding rollers, a folding plate member and a stopper, and a feed that opens and closes the entrance of the paper folding member at the tip of the folding plate member by the rotation of a pivot. In the case of normal paper folding, the guide plate body is connected, and the pivotal support of the folded plate member is expanded rearward around the fulcrum, and the feed guide plate body is expanded rearward to be the folded plate member. If it is placed on the entrance, the entrance of the folded plate member is released in a normal state, and the sheet is subjected to normal normal paper folding operation by adjusting the movement of the stopper to a predetermined position. The paper is folded according to the number.
[0004]
Next, when the number of folds is changed to be smaller than necessary, the number of folded plate members corresponding to the number of folds is left, and the other unnecessary number of folded plate member groups slightly backs the equipment position, When the pivotal support of the folded plate member is spread forward, the entrance of the folded plate member is shielded by the feed guide plate body, and the sheet is guided along it and passes without folding. On the other hand, the folding plate member having an open entrance can normally fold paper normally and obtain the required number and change the reduced number of folding.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the paper folding apparatus described in Japanese Patent Application No. 6-268916 has a number of problems. That is, when the number of folds is changed, for example, when the number of folds is decreased, it is necessary to remove the number of the fold plate members from the position where the folded plate member is disposed and change the paper discharge position to change the position of the paper receiving member. Moreover, when returning the number of folds, the folded plate member previously removed had to be mounted again.
[0006]
In order to adapt to the number of folds, it has been proposed to replace and arrange the folding path member separately instead of the folding plate member. However, the arrangement of the folding path member is not limited to the replacement installation with the folding plate member. Therefore, these replacement operations are not easy and extremely inconvenient because the folded plate member is very heavy. In order to solve this, a folding path member controlled by a solenoid or the like is arranged in the vicinity of the folding roller side of the folding plate member, and the insertion of the sheet into the folding plate member is prevented or allowed by this folding path member. However, this structure is very complicated and expensive, the entire paper folding apparatus is enlarged, and it is difficult to arrange all the folding plate members. Since the positional relationship has to be adjusted for each, the adjustment work is extremely complicated.
[0007]
In addition, there is a structure in which the stopper is also used as a folding path member, but this must move the position of the stopper each time, so that the predetermined position that has been aligned is deviated. When the paper folding is performed, since the stopper is provided for each folding plate member, the adjustment work is extremely complicated.
[0008]
Also, in the other conventional paper folding apparatus disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 52-66222, when the number of folding is reduced due to the change in the number of folding, the number of folding plate members to be reduced is arranged from the arrangement position. It was necessary to move and spread the feed guide plate forward. Also, when returning the number of folds to the original, it is necessary to expand the feed guide plate body that has been expanded first, and then move the folding plate member again, and the folding plate members overlap each other in many steps. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to spread the feed guide plate body of the folded plate member except for the uppermost stage in these operations.
[0009]
Moreover, in the conventional multi-stage paper folding apparatus, when the number of folding is increased, as many feed guide plate bodies as that are required, and it is necessary to provide a mechanism for moving and fixing each folding plate member from the arrangement position. However, there is a problem that the apparatus becomes complicated and expensive.
[0010]
In order to easily spread the feeding guide plate body of the folding plate member with a conventional paper folding device, if the gap between the folding plate members is widened, the outer diameter of the folding roller inevitably increases. However, there is a problem that the apparatus becomes large and expensive.
[0011]
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and can easily change the number of folds, avoid an increase in the size of the device, and reduce the manufacturing cost as a desktop device. An object is to provide a paper folding device.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A paper folding device according to the present invention is a pair of plate members into which a leading end of a sheet enters in a paper folding device that takes out sheets one by one from a sheet bundle placed on a paper feeding plate and folds them into a predetermined folding shape. A stopper that locks the leading edge of the sheet between the plate members, and a roller group that feeds the sheet between the plate members and folds the bent sheet with the leading end locked to the stopper. A plurality of paper folding portions, a folding plate mounting plate for fixing and supporting the plurality of paper folding portions, a fulcrum shaft for swingably supporting the folding plate mounting plate, and the plurality of paper folding portions. A folding path member that engages with a sheet insertion end of the plate member selected from among the sheet members and prevents the sheet from entering between the selected paper folding plate members. The plate mounting plate has an opening of the pair of plate members. A position where the serial roller vicinity group, between a position where the opening is in the open state of the pair of plate members, configured to swing about the pivot shaft Has been It is characterized by that.
[0013]
[Action]
In the present invention, when it is desired to reduce the number of folds, the folding path member is engaged with the sheet insertion end between the plate members of one or a plurality of paper folding portions to prevent the sheet from entering. Accordingly, the number of folding sheets is reduced by the number of folding path members installed, and according to the present invention, the number of folding sheets can be easily set only by selecting the paper folding section where the folding path member is to be installed. can do.
