屋根材を母屋に固定するフックボルトの上端が山部から突出する波形スレート板の既設屋根材に、これを覆う波形金属板または波形プラスチック板の新規屋根材を設置する屋根補修工法であって、
新規屋根材の山部に、既設屋根材の山部の上記フックボルト対応位置で、フックボルト挿通孔を形成する孔あけ工程と、
上記フックボルト挿通孔に上記フックボルトの上端を挿通させて新規屋根材を既設屋根材の上に重ね合せ載置する新規屋根材載置工程と、
新規屋根材の上記フックボルト挿通孔の上に、パッキン材を介在せしめてカバー部材を、その上端に形成したフックボルト挿通孔に上記フックボルトの上端を挿通せしめて新規屋根材の山部を跨ぐように設置するカバー部材設置工程と、
上記カバー部材のフックボルト挿通孔から突出する上記フックボルトの上端からナット部材で上記カバー部材を上から締込んで、上記カバー部材を介して新規屋根材を既設屋根材に押付け固定する新規屋根材固定工程と、
上記カバー部材に、そのフックボルト挿通孔および該挿通孔から突出するフックボルトの上端を覆うキャップを取付けるキャップ取付け工程とからなり、
上記孔あけ工程では、母屋の上方位置で既設屋根材の山部から突出して直線状に配列する上記各フックボルトの上端に、先端を錐状とした孔あけ工具を支持せしめ、既設屋根材を覆うようにして位置決めした新規屋根材を上記孔あけ工具の先端に支持せしめ、新規屋根材の支持点まわりに打込み工具を打込んで上記孔あけ工具を新規屋根材に貫通させて孔あけを行ない、孔あけされた新規屋根材の既設屋根材上への落下により上記新規屋根材載置工程を完了せしめる屋根補修工法。
