【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ネットワーク上で行われる非同期型コミュニケーションを支援する非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置に関し、更に詳しくは、ネットワークを介して送信されてくる情報を受信して格納するとともに、この格納した情報を要求に応じて提示し得る電子メールおよびインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置に対してネットワークを介してアクセスし、情報提示装置から提示された情報に対して意見の交換を行い得るようにコミュニケーションを支援する非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置および非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援プログラムを記録した記録媒体に関する。

【従来の技術】
通信を用いたコミュニケーションにおいて、複数の参加者が同時にコミュニケーションを取ることができるようにするには、従来、テレビ電話やテレビ会議のように相手の姿が確認できるコミュニケーション装置を用いたコミュニケーションがあるが、このようなテレビ電話やテレビ会議によるコミュニケーションにおいては、相手の表情や状態を認識できるので、発話表現に抑制が働き、話が感情的にならず、話題が発散しにくいということがあるとともに、参加者は時間を拘束されるという問題がある。

一方、電子メールやネットニュースを利用した非同期型のコミュニケーションにおいては、参加者を時間的に拘束することはないが、文書等のデータの授受のみになるため、参加意識を持ち難く、相手の心理状況を把握しづらいので、発話表現に抑制が働きずらくなり、話が感情的になり、話題が発散しやすくなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述したように、電子メールやネットニュースを利用した非同期型のコミュニケーションは、参加者を時間的に拘束することはないが、文書等のデータの授受のみになるため、参加意識を持ち難く、相手の心理状況を把握しづらいので、発話表現に抑制が働きずらくなり、話が感情的になり、話題が発散しやすくなるという問題がある。

本発明は、上記に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的とするところは、参加者を時間的に拘束せず、かつ話が感情的になることを抑制し、円滑なコミュニケーションを行い得るように支援する非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置および非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援プログラムを記録した記録媒体を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、請求項１記載の本発明は、ネットワークを介して送信されてくる情報を受信して格納するとともに、この格納した情報を要求に応じて提示し得る電子メールおよびインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置に対してネットワークを介してアクセスし、情報提示装置から提示された情報に対して意見の交換を行い得るようにコミュニケーションを支援する非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置であって、前記情報提示装置から提示された情報に対する意見を作成する意見作成手段と、この作成された意見に対応する表現情報を該意見に付与する表現情報付与手段と、この表現情報を付与された意見をネットワークを介して情報提示装置に発信する意見発信手段とを有する意見発信装置を備えることを要旨とする。

請求項１記載の本発明にあっては、電子メールおよびインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置から提示された情報に対する意見を作成し、この作成された意見に対応する表現情報を該意見に付与し、この表現情報を付与された意見をネットワークを介して情報提示装置に発信するため、情報提示装置からの情報に対して意見を発信するのみでなく、この意見に対する表現情報も付与して発信することができ、この表現情報として例えば否定状態を示すような顔の表情を表示し得る表情情報を付与することにより意見の内容を明確に伝達することができるとともに、意見発信時の表現に抑制が働くようになる。

請求項２記載の本発明にあっては、電子メールおよびインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置から提示される情報として意見および該意見に対応する表現情報を受信し、複数の表現情報の各々について図形および音声を含むどのような表現手段を用いてどのような表現方法で表現するかについての表現方法情報を表現方法情報格納手段に格納しておき、受信した表現情報に基づき表現方法情報格納手段を検索して、表現情報に対応する表現方法情報を取得し、この取得した表現方法情報に基づく表現方法で表現された表現手段とともに意見を提示するため、情報提示手段からの情報として単に意見のみを受信して表示するのでなく、この意見に対する表現情報も受信して表示することができ、この表現情報として例えば否定状態を示すような顔の表情を表示し得る表情情報を受信して表示することにより意見の内容を一目見て明確に把握することができ、意見発信者の心理状態を把握しやすくなる。

更に、請求項３記載の本発明は、ネットワークを介して送信されてくる情報を受信して格納するとともに、この格納した情報を要求に応じて提示し得る電子メールおよびインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置に対してネットワークを介してアクセスし、情報提示装置から提示された情報に対して意見の交換を行い得るようにコミュニケーションを支援する非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置であって、前記情報提示装置から提示される情報として意見および該意見に対応する表現情報を受信する情報受信手段と、この受信した表現情報の時系列の並び状況を分析する分析手段と、複数の表現情報の時系列の並び状況の各々についてどのように観客キャラクタの表情データを提示するのかについての観客キャラクタ提示方法を格納する観客キャラクタ提示方法格納手段と、前記分析手段で分析した表現情報の時系列の並び状態に対応する観客キャラクタ提示方法を前記観客キャラクタ提示方法格納手段から検索する観客キャラクタ検索手段と、この検索した観客キャラクタ提示方法で提示される観客キャラクタを前記要求に応じて情報提示装置から提示される情報とともに出力する観客キャラクタ出力手段とを有する臨場感演出装置を備えることを要旨とする。

請求項３記載の本発明にあっては、電子メールやインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置から提示される意見および該意見に対応する表現情報を受信し、この受信した表現情報の時系列の並び状況を分析し、複数の表現情報の時系列の並び状況の各々についてどのように観客キャラクタの表情データを提示するのかについての観客キャラクタ提示方法を観客キャラクタ提示方法格納手段に格納しておき、分析した表現情報の時系列の並び状態に対応する観客キャラクタ提示方法を観客キャラクタ提示方法格納手段から検索し、この検索した観客キャラクタ提示方法で提示される観客キャラクタを要求に応じて情報提示装置から提示される情報とともに出力するため、表現情報として例えば感情に基づく意見、否定意見、意見の展開や拡散等のような意見収束を阻害するような顔の表情を表示し得る表現情報が連続したような場合には、観客キャラクタとしてうんざりするような顔の表情を表示することにより意見の展開状況を可視化することができ、これにより話が感情的になったり、発散したりするようなことを抑制することができる。

更に、請求項６記載の本発明は、請求項１乃至５のいずれかに記載の本発明において、前記表現情報が、（デボノ博士の）６色ハット発想法で示される事実に基づき意見するモード、感情に基づき意見するモード、肯定意見を出すモード、否定意見を出すモード、意見を展開および拡散するモード、意見を集約するモードを含む複数のモードを示すモードタグであることを要旨とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を用いて本発明の実施の形態について説明する。図１は、本発明の一実施形態に係わる非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置の構成を示すブロック図である。同図に示す非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置１００は、ネットワークを介して送信されてくる情報を受信して格納するとともに、この格納した情報を要求に応じて提示し得る電子メールおよびインターネットの掲示板を含む情報提示装置に対してネットワークを介してアクセスし、情報提示装置から提示された情報に対して意見の交換を行い得るようにコミュニケーションを支援するものであり、各人から発信された意見を時系列に格納する意見格納手段１１０、意見発信装置２００、意見受信装置３００、および臨場感演出装置４００から構成されている。

意見発信装置２００は、例えば電子メールツールやインターネットの掲示板ツールの入力手段のような、発信者の発信内容を入力できる意見入力手段２１０と、意見に対応する表情表現を指示するモードを表す複数種類のモードタグの内１つを選択し、該意見入力手段２１０により入力された意見に付与し、意見格納手段１１０に格納するモードタグ付与手段２２０から構成される。

なお、モードタグ付与手段で意見に付与されるモードタグは、例えばデボノ博士の６色ハット発想法で示される事実に基づき意見するモード、感情に基づき意見するモード、肯定意見を出すモード、否定意見を出すモード、意見を展開および拡散するモード、意見を集約するモード等を含む６種類のモードを示すモードタグである。

意見受信装置３００は、例えば電子メールツールやインターネットの掲示板ツールの出力手段のような、意見格納手段１１０に格納された内容を出力できる意見出力手段３１０と、前記複数種類のモードに対応して用意したキャラクタの画像や音声のデータを格納する表情データ格納手段３２０と、意見に付与されたモードタグが用意された複数種類の内のいずれであるかを判読して、該表情データ格納手段３２０に格納されたデータから該当するものを検索するモード判読手段３３０と、該モード判読手段３３０により検索された表情データを表示する表情出力手段３４０から構成される。

臨場感演出装置４００は、意見に付与されたモードタグの時系列の並び状況に応じてどのように観客キャラクタの表情データを表示するかのルールを格納する臨場感ルール格納手段４１０と、意見格納手段１１０に格納された意見に付与されたモードタグを観測し、そのモードタグの時系列の並び状況と該臨場感ルール格納手段４１０に格納されたルールの条件部との照合を行なう状況観測手段４２０と、観客キャラクタの表情の画像や音声を格納する観客表情データ格納手段４３０と、状況観測手段４２０による臨場感ルール格納手段４１０の持つルールとの照合結果に応じて、観客表情データ格納手段４３０に格納された観客キャラクタの表情データを検索して出力する観客表情出力手段４４０から構成される。

次に、上述したように構成される非同期分散型コミュニケーション支援装置の作用について説明する。

図１においてＡさん、Ｂさんらは自治会の運営する電子掲示板で議論しているとする。今Ａさんはそれまでに提案された意見について反対意見を持ったとする。Ａさんは意見発信装置２００のもつ意見入力手段２１０により自分の意見を入力し、モードタグ付与手段２２０により「否定意見を出すモード」のモードタグを選択し、意見に付与して発信し、意見格納手段１１０に格納する。

Ｂさんは意見受信装置３００により議論の経緯を見るとする。意見受信装置３００は意見出力手段３１０によりＡさんの発信した意見を出力するとともに、モード判読手段３３０は、その意見に付けられた「否定意見を出すモード」のモードタグを判読し、表情データ格納手段３２０に格納されたデータから「否定意見」に該当する表情データを表情出力手段３４０により出力する。
