【0021】
△Se=KE ・△We (2)
【0022】
△We=WeL −We (3)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rolling facility such as steel, and in particular, stress applied to a rolled material (sometimes referred to as a strip) between rolling mills (herein, stress means both tension and compressive force). The rolling material is detected by a continuous rolling mill equipped with a looper that detects a compressive force) and a vertical rolling mill (which appropriately uses the term edger mill or edger roll) to reduce the rolling material in the width direction. Continuously adjusting the width of the rolled material by controlling the edger roll opening degree to change the width of the sheet due to fluctuations in tension (stress) between rolling mills (sometimes using the term between stands) generated during continuous rolling. The present invention relates to a sheet width control device for a rolling mill.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In the hot strip continuous rolling mill, the plate thickness accuracy in the longitudinal direction of the rolled material becomes more and more severe, and further improvement in plate width accuracy is required, and various methods are considered.
[0003]
As for the control related to the plate thickness, there is a method for controlling the opening degree of the rolling roll or a method for controlling the plate tension between the stands. Conventionally, in a continuous rolling mill, as a method of controlling the loop amount and tension between stands, the loop amount between stands is set so that the looper motor speed is adjusted so that the signal from the looper height detector follows the target height. The tension between the stands may control the motor speed of the rolling mill so that the tension detection value from the tension detector between the stands installed in the looper follows the target tension.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, as a method of controlling the loop amount and strip tension of the rolled material between the stands in the hot strip continuous rolling equipment, first, the loop amount of the rolled material between the stands is determined by the loop height signal from the looper height detector and the looper. Using the target height value, the speed of the looper drive motor is controlled so that the looper height signal from the looper height detector follows the target looper height value. Next, the tension between the stands is controlled by controlling the speed of the electric motor of the rolling roll so that the tension signal from the inter-stand tension calculation device follows the target value based on the tension signal from the tension detector between the stands and the target tension value. It was.
[0011]
However, a tension or a compressive force acts on the rolled material between the stands. The looper detects this and corrects the tension by correcting the looper angle. However, when the tension changes to near the upper and lower limits, it takes time to control to the target value because the response of the looper and the main engine speed system is slow. Thereby, plate | board thickness and plate | board width are fluctuate | varied and material quality accuracy is deteriorated. Moreover, in this rolling state, rolling may become unstable, leading to an accident. Also, there is a problem that it is difficult for the operator to process this instantaneously.
[0012]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and a continuous rolling mill that improves sheet width accuracy by controlling sheet width fluctuations due to tension fluctuations between stands by a downstream edger roll (longitudinal rolling mill). It is an object of the present invention to provide a plate width control device.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention constitutes a sheet width control device in a continuous rolling mill by the following means.
In addition, in the reference technique of the present invention , a stress detection device is provided between continuously arranged horizontal rolling mills, and the downstream side of the horizontal rolling mill between the horizontal rolling mills provided with this stress detection device is provided. The storage means for storing the influence of the stress value on the sheet width of the rolled material when the value exceeds the value, and the sheet width for detecting the sheet width of the rolled material provided between the horizontal rolling mills and upstream of the vertical rolling mill A detecting means, and a tracking means for tracking the rolled material and sending the output of the storage means and the output of the sheet width detecting means to the vertical rolling mill when the rolled material that has caused abnormal stress fluctuations reaches the vertical rolling mill It is.
[0017]
In the reference technology of the present invention, the timing of passage when the abnormal tension area detected on the upstream side passes the downstream edger roll is tracked using the main motor pulse generator PG pulse, and this timing is activated. As the timing, the edger roll opening correction amount is added to the edger roll opening reference in a pulse shape. Since the relationship between tension fluctuation and width fluctuation varies depending on the material and size of the material, the table has the edger roll opening correction amount obtained in advance by experiments etc., and the value is stored to extract data of the same and same size. In this way, the roll opening correction amount ΔSe is extracted.
[0018]
On the other hand, in the invention corresponding to claim 1 , when the abnormal area detected in the same manner as described above passes through the edger roll of the downstream stand, the edger is obtained from the equation (1) using the influence coefficient of the width against the tension fluctuation. A roll opening correction amount ΔSe is obtained, and this correction amount ΔSe is added to the edger roll opening reference.
[0019]
ΔSe = dW / dTu · Δtu · K E (1)
Where dW / dTu: coefficient of influence of plate width variation on tension variation (here dW / dTu should be displayed as a variable derivative)
Δtu: Tension fluctuation in the abnormal area K E : Gap conversion coefficient The edger roll opening correction amount ΔSe is calculated and stored in advance when the upstream abnormal area occurs.
[0020]
In the invention corresponding to claim 2 , the abnormal area and the edger roll passage timing are obtained by the same method as described above, and the edger roll opening correction amount ΔSe is obtained using a signal from a width meter installed between the stands. Obtained from equation (2).
[0021]
△ Se = K E・ △ We (2)
Here, ΔWe: Abnormal Area Plate Width Variation The above-described plate width variation ΔWe uses the width variation obtained from the equation (3) based on the detected plate width immediately before the occurrence of the abnormal area.
[0022]
△ We = We L -We (3)
Here, We L : detected plate width immediately before the abnormal area We: detected plate width In this case as well, the edger roll opening correction amount ΔSe is calculated and stored in advance.
[0023]
In the invention corresponding to claim 3 , the plate width detection value from the plate width detector installed on the downstream side is stored at a certain timing after passing through the downstream side material tip, and thereafter the fluctuation from the stored plate width detection value is stored. Combines the conventional lock-on system plate width control that manipulates the edger roll opening to make the minute zero, and the correction amount extraction method described above. Normally, the plate width detector is installed by the conventional lock-on system plate width control. The width of the stand is controlled, and when passing through the abnormal area, the conventional lock-on system width control output is maintained and the width variation is controlled by the correction amount extraction method which is the reference technology of the present invention. Suppress fluctuations.
