Description

【0001】
【0025】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that can be used for confidential postcards, direct mails, notices, pamphlets, lotteries, and the like, and when the temporarily bonded surface is peeled off, the information described therein can be visually recognized. In particular, the present invention relates to a releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet that can give an excellent gloss to printed images.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, confidential postcards, direct mails, and the like that can be viewed inside when peeled open are widespread in terms of security and a large amount of information.
For example, a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed in advance on the face to be temporarily bonded before facing information, and letters or the like are printed on the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer after printing with a non-impact printer (NIP) or the like to form a postcard. It is a releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. This re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is generally formed by applying an ordinary pressure-sensitive adhesive such as natural rubber latex that cannot be removed, that is, a non-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive to which a filler such as silica or starch is added. The surface has printability and re-peelability. In addition, the filler moderately reduces the tackiness before bonding, enables peeling after bonding, and provides printability and blocking resistance.
[0003]
In addition, a releasable resin sheet with two transparent thermoplastic resin films releasably bonded and a heat-sensitive adhesive layer on both sides, and a postcard paper that is twice as large as a postcard with the information-written side inside. There is also a form in which the information is visually recognized through the resin film after being peeled off at the joint surface between the resin films at the time of peeling, sandwiched between two when folded. In addition to being able to perform offset printing on the entire surface of the printed image, etc., the glossiness can be imparted to the image with the resin sheet, so it is more expensive and complicated than the removable resin sheet. Widely used in emails.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, an inexpensive coating-forming type releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet cannot be expected to give glossiness by the resin sheet. Therefore, there has been a demand for an image that can give a glossy feeling at low cost, particularly to a printed image such as direct mail.
Therefore, with a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of coating formation type, a re-peelable feeling that provides an excellent gloss feeling simply by coating and forming a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive on the surface of the substrate on which information is described. It is to provide a pressure-bonding sheet.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention is a re-peeling in which a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that is not bonded in a normal state before bonding and after peeling and is bonded at least by pressure is formed in order to solve the above-described problem. In the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer contains resin particles so that the surface smoothness of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer before bonding is 150 seconds or more with the smoothness specified in JIS P-8119. The configuration is as follows.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings, taking postcard paper as an example.
[0007]
First, FIG. 1 is a plan view showing a half-folded postcard paper 10 as an example of the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the postcard paper 10 of FIG. 3 is a back view of the postcard paper 10 of FIG. 1, and FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the postcard paper 10 of FIG.
The postcard paper 10 shown in these drawings is composed of a first sheet 11 and a second sheet 12 of the same size divided by a central folding line 4. On the base material 1 of the first sheet 11, a printed image 3 a is formed by printing, leaving the peripheral portion, and the first sheet base material 1 including the print image 3 a as a temporary adhesion scheduled surface of the first sheet is formed. A transparent releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2a is formed on the entire surface by coating. Also, a printed image 3b is formed by printing on the base material 1 of the second sheet 12 while leaving the peripheral edge thereof, and the base material of the second sheet including the printed image 3b as a temporary adhesion planned surface of the second sheet A transparent re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 2b is formed on the entire surface of 1 by coating.
[0008]
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the back side of the postcard paper 10 is the destination column on the first sheet 11 side in this embodiment. As shown in FIG. 4, the surface to be bonded as the temporary bonding scheduled surface is the entire surface of the first sheet 11 and the second sheet. When the folded postcard 20 is peeled off, the releasable adhesive layer 2 a is peeled off. And 2b are peeled off at the joint surface S.
[0009]
The re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention has a smoothness of 120 seconds or more as defined in JIS P8119 for the smoothness of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer surface before temporary bonding in order to achieve a desired excellent glossiness. Preferably, the glossiness can be imparted to the printed image by setting it to 150 seconds or longer. Hereinafter, materials such as a desirable base material and a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that realize the smoothness will be described.
[0010]
The conventional releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the coating formation type is printed on the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the surface is rough and smooth due to the filler contained in the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. It was up to about 40 seconds. Moreover, even if a paper with good smoothness was used, the desired smoothness could not be obtained and glossiness could not be obtained due to the filler of the re-peelable adhesive layer. On the other hand, the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention has a configuration in which a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on which a glossy feeling is obtained is printed on a substrate.
By the way, the present inventor, even in the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet by the releasable adhesive layer of the coating formation type, sets the information to be printed between the base material and the releasable adhesive layer, It has already been found that if a PBR adhesive such as NBR and a filler such as polystyrene particles are used as the material, a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet having practical removability can be obtained. And in this invention, it discovered that the outstanding glossiness could be provided by making the surface smoothness of the re-peelable adhesive layer into a specific thing.
[0011]
As the base material 1 used for the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention, conventionally known paper such as NIP (non-impact printer) paper, NIP quality paper, NIP coated paper, coated paper, etc., on which information can be formed by printing or the like. In addition, resin films such as synthetic paper, polypropylene resin, cellulose resin, polyester resin, vinyl chloride resin, and composites thereof can be used.
In particular, in order to obtain the desired smoothness of the surface of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the surface of the substrate on which the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed is desirably smooth. However, the smoothness of the surface of the base material is not necessarily required because the smoothness of the surface of the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can be easily obtained by forming the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer even if it is inferior. However, in the case of an absorptive base material that absorbs the coating liquid that forms the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, the substrate smoothness cannot be covered by the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, which is not preferable. In this respect, among the above listed substrates, those having good smoothness such as coated paper such as NIP coated paper are preferable.
[0012]
The print image 3 is formed not on the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer but on the substrate, and the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on the print image 3. The printed image forms an ink layer by printing. In particular, the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention does not affect the temporary adhesive force even if normal color printing by offset printing or the like is applied not only to a printer or the like, but also to the entire surface to be temporarily bonded. The print image 3 may be formed by printing means such as gravure printing, letterpress printing, flexographic printing, silk screen printing, electrophotographic printing, and ink jet printing. The printing ink used may be offset ink, gravure ink, ultraviolet curable offset ink, or the like.
[0013]
The print image 3 is a character, a symbol, a figure, a pattern, a photographic tone image, or the like. In particular, even when color image information is formed by process color offset printing or the like, there is no decrease in temporary adhesive force. Further, since the print image 3 is formed before the formation of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer or the overcoat layer, fixed information such as a product description is suitable. Of course, the print image may be a print image in which simple characters or the like are formed by a printer.
[0014]
The re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layers 2a and 2b are transparent so that the lower printed image 3 is at least visually recognizable, have no adhesiveness before and after adhesion, and do not adhere to other materials under normal conditions. In addition, it adheres to the re-peeling adhesive layer facing each other by using heat as required, and at the time of peeling, the interface (bonding surface) between the re-peeling adhesive layers 2a and 2b becomes the peeling surface S, Even if the printed image 3 is present, the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer only needs to be peeled off so as to remain on the coated substrate side. If such a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has a moderate glossiness, a conventionally known NR-based pressure-sensitive adhesive is used as a pressure-sensitive adhesive, and silica or starch is added to such an extent that transparency and smoothness are not hindered. However, a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive whose adhesiveness and adhesiveness are adjusted may be used, but the following are superior in terms of glossiness, temporary adhesiveness and the like.
[0015]
That is, a rubber latex of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR) or acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) obtained by soap-free emulsion polymerization, or an acrylic resin latex such as polyacrylate is used as an adhesive main agent. These exhibit excellent pressure-sensitive adhesion and strong adhesion to printing ink. The latex by the soap-free emulsion polymerization method is preferable in that it does not contain a low molecular weight emulsifier and therefore has low dry tack (stickiness). In addition, these latex emulsions have performance such that isopropyl alcohol can be used as an antifoaming agent, the solid content of the coating liquid can be adjusted to an arbitrary ratio, and gravure coating suitability is excellent.
[0016]
In addition, as an adhesive main agent, as a latex by usual emulsion polymerization, styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), carboxy-modified SBR (XSBR), acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), acrylic-modified natural rubber (PMMA-NR), poly An acrylic resin latex adhesive such as an acrylic ester may be used in combination for improving various properties.
[0017]
The re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can achieve a certain level of performance even with soap-free emulsion polymerization latex alone, and it is easy to obtain the desired smoothness. It is easy to suppress the adhesive force from becoming too strong with time. As a filler suitable for adjusting the adhesive force while keeping the smoothness in a desired range, for example, polystyrene resin particles having an average particle diameter of about 3 to 10 μm can be used. The polystyrene resin particles, in combination with the soap-free emulsion polymerization latex, give a well-adjusted adhesive strength and smoothness, resulting in a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer that provides excellent gloss. In addition to the polystyrene resin particles, the filler may be resin particles such as acrylic resin particles, crosslinked polystyrene resin particles, and crosslinked acrylic resin particles. Cross-linked resin particles are suitable for applications that require heat resistance.
By using a material having such a composition, even if the smoothness of the substrate is below the specified level, the smoothness of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is finally set within the specified range and glossiness is imparted. Can do.
In addition, as long as the desired smoothness is not hindered, conventionally known inorganic particles such as silica and organic particles such as starch are used in combination, and the surface of the re-peelable adhesive layer is appropriately roughened to absorb silicone oil. , Printability, stampability, etc. can be improved.
In addition, as a filler, conventionally well-known silica, starch, etc. can also be used without using together with the said resin particle, if transparency is not impaired.
[0018]
The blending amount of the filler is, for example, 5 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the adhesive main agent in resin particles such as polystyrene. Silica, starch and the like are used within a range that does not hinder the transparency and smoothness of the re-peelable adhesive layer. In addition, a compounding quantity is suitably adjusted with the dry tack of an adhesive main ingredient, and the target physical property.
[0019]
The re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is usually supplied with an adhesive as an emulsion. Therefore, a coating liquid or an ink-like re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive in which a desired filler or other additive is appropriately added to the gravure is used. It is formed by applying to a base material by a conventionally known coating means such as a coat or an air knife coat, or flexographic printing.
[0020]
The re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention described above is one in which a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is formed on both surfaces of a temporary adhesion scheduled surface. However, the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention may have a structure having a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer on at least one side of the temporarily bonded surface. For example, it is the structure etc. which provide the overcoat layer which consists of transparent resin in another temporary attachment plan surface. At the time of peeling after temporary bonding, peeling is performed at the joint surface between the overcoat layer and the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.
[0021]
Such an overcoat layer is formed by printing or coating means, and conventionally known overcoat ink for offset printing, coating liquid for gravure coating, and the like can be used. The overcoat layer may be a transparent resin layer and may be a thermosetting resin, but an ultraviolet curable resin is preferable in terms of easy control of the peeling force and workability when manufacturing a releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet. . Further, the overcoat layer made of an ultraviolet curable resin or the like may contain wax, silicone, or the like, and may adjust the peeling force by reducing the adhesive force.
[0022]
In addition, the formation surface on the base material surface of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer or overcoat layer provided on the temporary adhesion surface to be faced is at least the temporary adhesion planned surface, even if it is the entire surface of the substrate. It may be a part of If the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer or overcoat layer is partially formed only on the necessary part of the substrate, waste can be saved and the cost can be reduced.
[0023]
As described above, as an example of application of the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention, a two-fold postcard has been described as an example. Similarly, it can be applied to various forms. The form of the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention is, in the case of a postcard sheet, in addition to the illustrated two-fold type, a Z-fold type, a tri-fold type, a four-fold type, or a postcard size through a folding line. It consists of a first sheet of a size and a second sheet smaller than the first sheet, and can take various conventionally known forms such as a half-fold type that forms a postcard when the folding line 5 is folded. Further, the folding line is not limited to the vertical direction of the postcard but may be the horizontal direction. Further, a type in which a plurality of sheets are stacked without folding one sheet may be used. In addition, the application is not limited to postcard sheets such as direct mail and confidential postcards, but can be used for sheets for various uses such as pamphlets, notices, and lotteries. Further, it may be a continuous form having a marginal portion in which a large number of marginal holes are continuously provided and one unit of a plurality of sheets is continuous, or a sheet for exclusive use with a cut sheet printer.
In addition, by a conventionally known method, a release layer is provided on the surface of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer such as a part of the peripheral portion with an ink or the like. It is also possible to create a trigger for peeling when the corner of one sheet to be cut is cut.
[0024]
Moreover, in the releasable pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet of the present invention, the surface of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer may have printability, and a print image such as characters may be printed on the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

[0039]
Table 1 shows the results of evaluating the smoothness and gloss of each of the above examples and comparative examples. The smoothness and glossiness were evaluated as follows.
[0040]
Smoothness: A value measured by the method of JIS P8119 on the surface of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer before provisional adhesion and the part of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer where there is no printed image. However, for 300 seconds or more, instead of setting “300 seconds or more” of the JIS standard, the measured value when dropping by 2 mmHg was replaced by 10 times. The measuring instrument used was a Beck smoothness meter (manufactured by Kumagaya Riki Kogyo Co., Ltd.). The smoothness of the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer surface does not vary greatly depending on the presence or absence of a printed image.
[0041]
Glossiness: For the printed image under the re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive layer after temporary adhesion and peeling, ◎ is excellent, ◯ is good, △ is slightly inferior, and X is inferior. .
