Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a connector for connecting hoses, pipes and the like for piping, and more particularly to a connector capable of confirming a connection state between a male member and a female member.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As connectors for connecting hoses and the like, those shown in FIGS. 18 and 19 are known. This connector has a substantially cylindrical shape having a pipe-shaped male member 80 provided with a ring-shaped projecting portion 80a projecting in a centrifugal direction at a predetermined distance from the tip, and an insertion opening end 81a into which the male member 80 is inserted. A female member 82 having a housing 81 and a locking member 83 for connecting and holding the male member 80 inserted and held in the insertion opening end 81 a side of the housing 81 and inserted into the housing 81 to the female member 82. And a confirmation member 84 that is externally held on the outer peripheral surface of the housing 81 from the direction perpendicular to the axis and that confirms that the male member 80 is coupled to the female member 82.
[0003]
A pair of windows 81b are provided at the end of the housing 81 on the insertion opening end 81a side so as to penetrate in the radial direction and face each other so that the locking member 83 is elastic in the radial direction. It has a pair of claw portions 83a that can be deformed and disposed at a position corresponding to the window portion 81b. Further, as shown in FIG. 19, the confirmation member 84 has a substantially C shape that can be expanded by elastic deformation, and is provided in a notch groove 81 c that is continuously provided at the end of the window portion 81 b of the housing 81. It is inserted inside and is externally held on the outer peripheral surface of the housing 81 from the direction perpendicular to the axis. The confirmation member 84 is engaged with the edge of the window portion 81b before the male member 80 is coupled to the female member 82, and the confirmation member 84 is detached from the housing 81 in the direction perpendicular to the axis. It has a pair of locking recesses 84a for restricting this, and a pair of tip contact portions 84b with which the outer peripheral surface of the ring-shaped protrusion 80a contacts when the male member 80 is inserted.
[0004]
In this connector, the confirmation member 84 is externally held on the outer peripheral surface of the housing 81 from the direction perpendicular to the axis before the male member 80 is coupled to the female member 82, and the locking recess 84 a of the confirmation member 84 is the window of the housing 81. The front end abutting portion 84b of the confirmation member 84 is inserted in the window portion 81b at a position deeper in the axial direction than the claw portion 83a of the engaging member 83 while being locked to the edge of the portion 81b. In this state, when the male member 80 is inserted into the housing 81 of the female member 82, the ring-shaped protrusion 80a of the male member 80 causes the claw portion 83a of the locking member 83 to resist its elasticity outward in the radial direction. It spreads and passes through the claw part 83a. Thereby, the front-end | tip of the nail | claw part 83a and the ring-shaped protrusion 80a latch, and the male member 80 and the female member 82 will be in a connection state. In this coupled state (the state shown in FIGS. 18 and 19), the ring-shaped protrusion 80a of the male member 80 expands the tip contact portion 84b of the confirmation member 84 radially outward. Then, the locking recess 84a of the confirmation member 84 is disengaged from the edge of the window portion 81b, and the confirmation member 84 is popped out by the elasticity in the direction perpendicular to the axis (the arrow direction in FIG. 19). Thereby, it can be confirmed that the male member 80 is coupled to the female member 82.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the conventional connector, when the male member 80 is coupled to the female member 82, the confirmation member 84 is disengaged from the housing 81 in the direction perpendicular to the axis by the elastic restoring force, so that the male member 80 is connected to the female member 82. This is to confirm that they are combined.
In the conventional connector described above, in order to make the confirmation member 84 easily disengage from the housing 81 in the direction perpendicular to the axis, a notch groove 81c is provided in the housing 81 to narrow the circumferential width of the side wall of the housing 81 over which the confirmation member 84 straddles. Alternatively, an intermediate member is separately provided on the inner surface side of the tip contact portion 84b of the confirmation member 84, and the tip contact portion 84b of the confirmation member 84 is radially outwardly moved by the ring-shaped protrusion 80a via this intermediate member. It has been devised to expand it.
[0006]
However, at the same time when the male member 80 is coupled to the female member 82, if the confirmation member 84 is detached from the housing 81 due to its elastic restoring force, it is necessary to collect the confirmation member 84 that has fallen off the housing 81 after the coupling. There are cases where this is extremely difficult depending on where the connector is applied. Further, the conventional connector cannot be applied to a place where it is difficult for the confirmation member 84 to come off.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and it is a technical problem to be solved to provide a connector in which a confirmation member does not pop out due to its elasticity after a male member and a female member are coupled. It is.
[0008]

Each of the locking protrusions of the confirmation member is locked with the circumferential end of the window before the male member is coupled to the female member, and the confirmation member is perpendicular to the housing from the housing. A first locking portion that restricts the male member from being pulled out, and the male member is positioned within the locus of the ring-shaped protrusion when the male member is inserted in a state before the male member is coupled to the female member. A tip abutting portion that is pressed by the ring-shaped protrusion when the member insertion is completed and moves radially outward to increase the diameter of the C-shaped portion, and a circumferential direction of the window portion when the male member is completely inserted The confirmation member is prevented from coming off from the housing by the elastic restoring force of the C-shaped portion by engaging with the end edge, and the confirmation member is removed from the housing after the male member is completely inserted. When pulling out in the direction perpendicular to the axis, the window To further expanded the C-shaped portions through a sliding contact with the circumferential edge, respectively perforated and an inclined second engaging portion extending inclined toward the substantially centripetal direction of the housingAnd
In the state where each first locking portion of each locking protrusion of the checking member is locked to the circumferential end of the window portion and the checking member is externally held on the housing, the C-shaped The inner surface of the portion is in close contact with the side wall of the housing in a press-contact state, and the side wall is sandwiched between the first locking portion and the inner surface of the C-shaped portion in the direction perpendicular to the axis.It is characterized by that.
[0009]
In addition, in this specification, an axial direction means the axial direction of a female member, and the circumferential direction means the circumferential direction of a female member.
In this connector, the confirmation member is externally held on the outer peripheral surface of the housing from the direction perpendicular to the axis before the male member is coupled to the female member. At this time, each locking projection of the confirmation member is inserted into the housing from each window at a position on the back side in the axial direction of the housing from the locking end of each claw of the locking member, and The 1st latching | locking part of the latching protrusion part is each latching with the circumferential direction edge part of each window part. As described above, the first locking portion of the locking projection portion locks with the circumferential end portion of the window portion, so that the confirmation member can be reliably restricted from being pulled out in the direction perpendicular to the axis and coming off the housing. In this state, even if the confirmation member is pulled out in the direction perpendicular to the axis to be removed from the housing, it cannot be easily removed. Further, in this state, the tip contact portion of each locking projection is located within the locus of the ring-shaped projection when the male member is inserted.
[0010]
Then, when the insertion end of the male member is inserted into the housing of the female member from the insertion opening end, the ring-shaped protrusion of the male member presses and slides on the inclined inner surface of the claw of the locking member, thereby It resists its elasticity and spreads outward in the radial direction and passes through the claw portion. As a result, the claw portion elastically returns inward in the radial direction, the locking end portion of the claw portion and the ring-shaped protrusion are locked, and the male member and the female member are in a coupled state via the locking member. Is done.
[0011]
When the insertion of the male member is completed, the tip contact portion of each locking projection that was located in the locus of the ring-shaped protrusion is pressed by the ring-shaped protrusion and moved outward in the radial direction, Thereby, a C-shaped part is expanded in diameter. When the diameter of the C-shaped portion of the confirmation member is increased in this way, the inclined second locking portion of each locking projection is brought into contact with and locked to the circumferential edge of each window portion of the housing. As described above, the inclined second locking portion of the locking projection portion is locked to the circumferential edge of the window portion, so that the confirmation member is detached from the housing in the direction perpendicular to the axis by the elastic return force of the C-shaped portion. Can be reliably regulated.
[0012]
In this state, if the confirmation member is pulled out in the direction perpendicular to the axis to be removed from the housing, the sliding contact between the inclined second locking portion of each locking projection and the circumferential edge of each window portion will occur. Since the diameter of the C-shaped portion is further expanded, the confirmation member can be easily pulled out from the housing in the direction perpendicular to the axis. Thereby, the coupling | bonding of a male member and a female member can be confirmed.
[0013]
Thus, in the connector of the present invention, after the male member is coupled to the female member, the confirmation member does not jump out of the housing due to its elastic restoring force. For this reason, the operation | work which collects the confirmation member which fell out of the housing after coupling | bonding becomes unnecessary.
In addition, each of the first locking portions of each of the locking protrusions of the confirmation member is locked to the circumferential end of the window portion, and the confirmation member is externally held by the housing. Check that the inner surface of the shape portion is in close contact with the side wall of the housing in a pressure contact state, and that the side wall is sandwiched between the first locking portion and the inner surface of the C-shaped portion in the direction perpendicular to the axis. The member is firmly and securely held in the housing, prevents the check member from moving freely with respect to the housing, and prevents the check member from being easily pulled out even if the check member is pulled out of the housing.
[0014]
Here, when the confirmation member is pulled out from the housing in the direction perpendicular to the axis after the male member has been inserted, the operator does not necessarily pull out in the vertical direction. For example, depending on the location where the connector is applied, the connector may be pulled out only in an oblique direction inclined toward one end side or the other end side in the axial direction with respect to the direction perpendicular to the axis.
In such a case, the insertion of the male member is not completed, that is, the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely (proper) completed, and the first locking portion of the confirmation member and the circumferential end of the window portion When the confirmation member is pulled out in an oblique direction inclined toward one end side or the other end side in the axial direction with respect to the direction perpendicular to the axis, As a result, the C-shaped portion held by the tilter is easily tilted. As a result, the locking between the first locking portion of the confirmation member and the circumferential end of the window portion is easily released. It is also possible. Thus, even if the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely completed, if the confirmation member is detached from the housing, the function as the confirmation member is not fulfilled.
[0015]
In this respect, the confirmation member according to this connector has at least one tilt restricting portion integrally extended from at least one of the one end side and the other end side in the axial direction from the substantially center in the circumferential direction of the C-shaped portion. By tilting the C-shaped part held so as to stand upright in the direction perpendicular to the housing to at least one of the one end side and the other end side in the axial direction at least in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the housing, regulate.
[0016]
For this reason, before the insertion of the male member, that is, the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely (proper) completed, the first locking portion of the confirmation member and the circumferential end of the window portion Even when the confirmation member is pulled out in the oblique direction on the side where the tilt restricting portion extends, the C-shaped portion is tilted in the pulling direction and the confirmation member The locking between the first locking portion and the circumferential end of the window portion does not easily come off. Therefore, the function as a confirmation member is performed appropriately.
(3) In a preferred embodiment, the connector of the present invention isThe tilt restricting portion has a bent portion that engages with a step portion provided on the outer peripheral surface of the housing. By locking the bent portion of the tilt restricting portion and the stepped portion of the housing, the confirmation member is axially positioned with respect to the housing, and the tilt of the C-shaped portion toward one end side or the other end side in the axial direction is further increased. Regulated reliably.
(4) In a preferred aspect, in the connector of the present invention, the confirmation member is integrally extended radially outward from a substantially center in the circumferential direction of the C-shaped portion, and the confirmation member is pivoted from the housing. A pulling force acting when pulling out in a right angle direction, and the pulling portion checks when the check member is pulled out from the housing in a direction perpendicular to the axis before the male member is completely inserted. It has at least one notch provided so as to damage the handle portion before the first locking portion of the member and the circumferential end of the window portion are released. To do.
[0017]
Here, before completion of the insertion of the male member, that is, the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely (proper) completed, the first locking portion of the confirmation member and the circumferential end of the window portion If the confirmation member is pulled out with an extremely strong force while it is still locked, the confirmation member may come off the housing with or without damage to the first locking portion of the confirmation member. It can be considered.
[0018]
In such a case, if the damaged portion or the like of the confirmation member remains held in the housing, it can be confirmed that the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely (proper) completed. However, when such a damaged part of the confirmation member does not remain in the housing or when the confirmation member is not damaged and is detached from the housing as it is, the coupling between the male member and the female member is completely completed. In this case, it cannot be distinguished whether the confirmation member has been removed normally or whether the confirmation member has been removed abnormally even though the connection between the male member and the female member has not been completely completed. It will not be fulfilled.
[0019]
In this respect, the confirmation member according to this connector is integrally extended radially outward from the substantially center in the circumferential direction of the C-shaped portion, and is pulled out when the confirmation member is pulled out from the housing in the direction perpendicular to the axis. A handle portion on which a force acts, and the handle portion is configured to remove the confirmation member from the housing in a direction perpendicular to the axis before the male member is completely inserted; And at least one notch provided so as to damage the handle portion before the engagement between the window portion and the circumferential end of the window portion is released.
[0020]
For this reason, in this connector, before the male member is completely inserted, that is, in a state where the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely (appropriately completed), the operator holds the handle portion at a right angle with an extremely strong force. When pulling in the direction, the handle of the confirmation member is damaged at the notch before the first engagement portion of the confirmation member and the circumferential end of the window are released, and the broken confirmation member At least the C-shaped portion and each locking projection remain while being held by the housing. Therefore, it is confirmed by visual check that the damaged portion of the confirmation member remains retained in the housing, thereby confirming that the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely completed. be able to.
[0021]
In addition, when the coupling between the male member and the female member is completed completely (appropriately), if the operator pulls out the handle portion of the confirmation member with the fingers or the like in the direction perpendicular to the axis, the handle portion is not damaged. The confirmation member can be easily removed from the housing.
(5) In a preferred aspect, the connector according to the present invention is provided with a concave notch at the base end of each locking projection on the C-shaped part side.
(6) The connector according to claim 6 is a cylindrical male member having an insertion end provided with a ring-shaped protrusion protruding in the centrifugal direction at a position separated from the tip by a predetermined distance;

The female member 3 is made of resin (nylon), and as shown in FIGS. 1 and 9, the housing 31 provided on one end side in the axial direction (the right side in FIGS. 1 and 9, the same applies hereinafter) and the other end in the axial direction. It is comprised from the hose connection end part coaxially provided with the housing 31 on the side (the left side of FIG.1 and FIG.9, and the following similarly). The housing 31 includes a large-diameter portion 31a, a medium-diameter portion 31b, and a small-diameter portion 31c that are coaxially arranged in order from one end in the axial direction. The insertion opening 1c into which the insertion end 1c of the male member 1 is inserted. An end 31d is provided at the end on the one end side in the axial direction. Further, the hose connection end portion has a shaft hole on the inner peripheral surface, and the outer peripheral surface of the hose connection end portion is provided with an annular groove portion and two step portions for restricting the hose 2 from coming off. A ring-shaped sealing member that seals the inner peripheral surface of the hose 2 is disposed in the groove portion. And the said hose 2 is armored on the outer peripheral surface of the hose connection end.
[0024]
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 10, the large-diameter portion 31a of the housing 31 includes a pair of flat wall portions 31e and 31e extending in parallel with each other, and an upper end and a lower end of each flat wall portion 31e and 31e, respectively. It consists of a pair of circular arc wall parts 31f and 31f connected integrally. In addition, rectangular window portions 35 and 35 arranged in the circumferential direction so as to penetrate the radial wall portions 31f and 31f in the radial direction so as to face each other are respectively provided in the center portions in the circumferential direction of the respective arc wall portions 31f and 31f.
[0025]
In the cross section perpendicular to the axis of the housing 31, the central axis extending in parallel with the facing direction of the two window portions 35, 35 arranged to face each other is defined as a first symmetry axis P. In the case where the second symmetry axis Q is orthogonal, both the flat wall portions 31e and 31e extend in parallel to the first symmetry axis P. Further, two sets of circumferential end portions 35a, 35a of the window portions 35, 35 are opposed parallel surfaces extending parallel to the first symmetry axis P. Both the window portions 35 and 35 are formed symmetrically with respect to the second symmetry axis Q. With these configurations, the portion of the large-diameter portion 31a of the housing 31 (in this embodiment, the female member 3 including the housing 31) has a symmetrical shape with respect to the first symmetry axis P and the second symmetry. The shape is also symmetrical with respect to the axis Q. Since the confirmation member 5 is also symmetric with respect to the second axis of symmetry Q as will be described later (see FIG. 2), the confirmation member 5 is moved from the right side of FIG. It can be installed even from the outside.

The inner peripheral surface of the small diameter portion 31c is a ring-shaped fitting inner peripheral surface that fits with the outer peripheral surface of the distal end portion 1b of the insertion end portion 1c inserted into the housing 31.
[0027]
The locking member 4 is made of an elastically deformable resin (nylon) member, and is inserted and held in the large-diameter portion 31 a of the housing 31. As shown in FIG. 7, the locking member 4 includes an annular collar portion 41, a pair of substantially U-shaped portions 42 and 42 that protrude from the annular collar portion 41 so as to face each other, and each substantially U-shaped portion. Each of the claw portions 43 and 43 protrudes from the portions 42 and 42 so as to incline radially inward with respect to the axis, and is elastically deformable in the radial direction. The claw portion 43 is inclined inward in the radial direction from the insertion opening end 31d toward the back in the axial direction in a state where the locking member 4 is inserted and held in the housing 31, and is ring-shaped when the male member 1 is inserted. An inclined inner surface 43a with which the protruding portion 1a is pressed and slidably contacted, a locking end portion 43b that locks with the ring-shaped protruding portion 1a when the male member 1 and the female member 3 are coupled, and restricts the male member 1 from coming off; And a locking step portion 43c that locks with the circumferential end 35a of the window portion 35 and restricts the locking member 4 from coming off. The locking member 4 is held so as to be relatively movable in the axial direction with respect to the housing 31 in consideration of ease of insertion into the housing 31.
[0028]
As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the confirmation member 5 includes a C-shaped part 51 that can be expanded by elastic deformation, and a pair of protrusions that are integrally protruded inward from both ends of the C-shaped part 51. The locking projections 52 and 52 and the C-shaped portion 51 are integrally extended radially outward from the center in the circumferential direction, and when the confirmation member 5 is pulled out from the housing 31, fingers and the like are hooked to pull out And a ring-shaped handle portion 53 on which the C acts, and the C-shaped portion 51, the locking projection 52, and the handle portion 53 are integrally formed.
[0029]
And this confirmation member 5 inserts the latching protrusion parts 52 and 52 of the both ends of the C-shaped part 51 from the window parts 35 and 35 by expanding the diameter of the C-shaped part 51, and FIG. As shown, the housing 31 can be mounted. The inner peripheral surface shape of the C-shaped portion 51 corresponds to the outer peripheral surface shape of the large-diameter portion 31 a of the housing 31, and the inside of the C-shaped portion 51 is in a state where the confirmation member 5 is externally held by the housing 31. The peripheral surface is in close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion 31a in a pressure contact state (described later). As is clear from FIG. 4, the confirmation member 5 has a center line passing through the center of the C-shaped portion 51 in the circumferential direction and the center between the locking projections 52 and 52 (BB in FIG. 4). Line)).
[0030]
Each of the locking protrusions 52, 52 is locked with the circumferential end 35 a of the window 35 before the male member 1 is coupled to the female member 3, so that the confirmation member 5 is perpendicular to the housing 31. The first locking portions 52a and 52a for restricting the drawing in the second symmetry axis Q direction in FIG. 2 (hereinafter the same), and the male member 1 in a state before the male member 1 is coupled to the female member 3. The tip which is located in the locus of the ring-shaped protrusion 1a at the time of insertion and is pressed by the ring-shaped protrusion 1a when the insertion of the male member 1 is completed and moves radially outward to expand the diameter of the C-shaped part 51 When the insertion of the male member 1 is completed, the contact member 52b, 52b is engaged with the circumferential edge 35b of the window 35, and the confirmation member 5 is moved perpendicularly from the housing 31 by the elastic return force of the C-shaped part 51. The confirmation member 5 is restricted after the male member 1 is completely inserted. In order to further expand the diameter of the C-shaped portion 51 through sliding contact with the circumferential edge 35b of the window portion 35 when being pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis, the housing 31 is inclined toward the substantially centripetal direction. It has the inclination 2nd latching | locking part 52c, 52c extended, respectively.
[0031]
In the state in which the confirmation member 5 is externally held on the housing 31, the locking projection 52 is positioned at a position deeper in the axial direction of the housing 31 than the locking end 43 b of the claw 43. The part 35 is inserted into the housing 31. Further, in this embodiment, the tip contact portion 52b of each locking projection 52 is in a state before the confirmation member 5 is externally held by the housing 31 and the male member 1 is coupled to the female member 3, The male member 1 is inserted into the housing 31 up to a position where it can slidably contact the outer peripheral surface of the distal end portion 1b of the male member 1 to be inserted.
[0032]
Here, in this embodiment, the base end (the locking projection 52 and the C-shaped portion 51 and the boundary) of each locking projection 52 on the C-shaped portion 51 side (the upper side in FIGS. 4 and 6). A concave notch portion 54 (see FIG. 6) is provided, and a boundary portion between the notch portion 54 and the inclined second locking portion 52c is a first locking portion 52a. Further, the distance between the straight line connecting the circumferential end portions 35a of the window portions 35 and the outer surface of the flat portion 31e of the housing 31 is the C shape and the straight line connecting the first locking portions 52a and 52a. The dimensions of the C-shaped part 51, the housing 31 and the like are set so as to be slightly larger than the distance from the inner surface of the flat part of the part 51. With these configurations, the confirmation member 5 is externally held in the housing 31, that is, each first engagement portion 52 a of each engagement protrusion 52 of the confirmation member 5 is engaged with the circumferential end portion 35 a of the window portion 35. In this state, the C-shaped portion 51 of the confirmation member 5 is slightly elastically deformed, and this elastic force causes each first locking portion 52a to be substantially perpendicular to each circumferential end portion 35a of each window portion 35. It acts as a force to press. As a result, the side wall of the large-diameter portion 31a of the housing 31 on which the confirmation member 5 is mounted, that is, the C-shape, between each first locking portion 52a of the confirmation member 5 and the inner surface of the C-shaped portion 51. The side wall of the large-diameter portion 31a in which the inner surface of the portion 51 is in close contact with the pressure contact state is sandwiched in the direction perpendicular to the axis. As a result, the confirmation member 5 is firmly and securely held by the housing 31, the floating of the confirmation member 5 with respect to the housing 31 is prevented, and the confirmation member 5 is easily pulled out even if the confirmation member 5 is pulled out of the housing 31. You can't do that.
[0033]
It is an essential requirement of the present invention that the cutout portion 54 is formed and that the C-shaped portion 51 is elastically deformed slightly while the confirmation member 5 is externally held on the housing 31. Absent. However, when the dimension design is performed so that the C-shaped portion 51 is slightly elastically deformed in a state in which the confirmation member 5 is externally held on the housing 31, it is preferable to form the notched portion 54. If the notched portion 54 is not formed, the elastic restoring force of the C-shaped portion 51 is C-shaped through the engaging portion between the first engaging portion 52a and the circumferential end portion 35a of the window portion 35. This is because the confirmation member 5 is easily detached from the housing 31 because the shape portion 51 acts in the direction of expanding the diameter.
[0034]
In the present embodiment, both side surfaces on the distal end side of the respective locking projections 52 are tapered surfaces 55 and 55 whose intervals are narrowed toward the distal end. For this reason, when the male member 1 is inserted, the ring-shaped protrusion 1a is slidably contacted and guided to the taper surface 55 so that it easily enters the tip contact portion 52b. It is easy to move 52b outward in the radial direction.
[0035]
In this connector, in a state before the male member 1 is coupled to the female member 3, the confirmation member 5 is externally held on the outer peripheral surface of the housing 31 from the direction perpendicular to the axis, as shown in FIGS. At this time, each locking projection 52 of the confirmation member 5 is located in the housing 31 from each window 35 at a position on the rear side in the axial direction of the housing 31 relative to the locking end 43 b of each claw 43 of the locking member 4. The first locking portions 52a of the locking projections 52 are locked with the circumferential end portions 35a of the window portions 35, respectively. As described above, the first locking portion 52a of the locking projection 52 is locked with the circumferential end portion 35a of the window portion 35, so that the confirmation member 5 is reliably pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis. In this state, even if the confirmation member 5 is pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis, it cannot be pulled out. Further, in this state, the tip contact portion 52b of each locking projection 52 is located within the locus of the ring-shaped projection 1a when the male member 1 is inserted.
[0036]
When the insertion end 1 c of the male member 1 is inserted into the housing 31 of the female member 3 from the insertion opening end 31 d, the ring-shaped protrusion 1 a of the male member 1 is inclined by the claw portions 43 of the locking member 4. By pressing and slidingly contacting the inner surface 43 a, each claw portion 43 is pushed outward in the radial direction against its elasticity and passes through each claw portion 43. Thereby, each claw part 43 is elastically restored inward in the radial direction, and the locking end part 43b of each claw part 43 and the ring-shaped protrusion 1a are locked, and the male member 1 and the female member 3 are engaged. A coupled state is established via the stop member 4.
[0037]
When the insertion of the male member 1 is completed, as shown in FIG. 9 and FIG. 10, each tip contact portion 52b of each locking projection 52 located in the locus of the ring-shaped protrusion 1a is ring-shaped. The protrusions 1a are pressed to move outward in the radial direction, whereby the C-shaped portion 51 is expanded in diameter. When the diameter of the C-shaped portion 51 of the confirmation member 5 is increased in this way, each inclined second locking portion 52c of each locking projection 52 contacts the circumferential edge 35b of each window 35 of the housing 31. And locked. As described above, the inclined second locking portion 52 c of the locking projection 52 is locked to the circumferential edge 35 b of the window portion 35, whereby the confirmation member 5 is moved to the housing 31 by the elastic return force of the C-shaped portion 51. It is possible to reliably regulate the deviation from the direction perpendicular to the axis.
[0038]
In this state, if the confirmation member 5 is to be pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis, the inclined second locking portions 52c of the locking projections 52 and the circumferential edges 35b of the window portions 35 are formed. Since the diameter of the C-shaped portion 51 is further expanded through the sliding contact, the confirmation member 5 can be easily pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis. Thereby, the coupling | bonding of the male member 1 and the female member 3 can be confirmed.
[0039]
As described above, in the connector according to the present embodiment, after the male member 1 is coupled to the female member 3, the confirmation member 5 does not jump out of the housing 31 due to its elastic return force. For this reason, the operation | work which collects the confirmation member 5 which fell from the housing 31 after the coupling | bonding becomes unnecessary. Therefore, the connector according to the present embodiment can be applied to a place where it is difficult to remove the confirmation member 5 or a place where it is difficult to collect the confirmation member 5 that has fallen off.
[0040]
(Embodiment 2)
In the connector of the present embodiment shown in FIGS. 11 to 13, the confirmation member 5 has first and second tilt restricting portions 56 and 57. That is, in the confirmation member 5, rod-shaped first and second tilt regulating portions 56 and 57 are integrally extended from the circumferential center of the C-shaped portion 51 to one end side and the other end side in the axial direction. The first tilt restricting portion 56 extending to one end in the axial direction extends to substantially the center in the axial direction of the large diameter portion 31a of the housing 31, while the second tilt restricting portion extending to the other end in the axial direction. The portion 57 extends to the step portion 31e on the other axial end side of the large diameter portion 31a, and a bent portion 57a is provided at the tip thereof. The inner surfaces of the first and second tilt restricting portions 56 and 57 are in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter portion 31a in a state where the confirmation member 5 is externally held by the housing 31, and the second tilt restricting portion. The bent portion 57a of 76 is engaged with the step portion 31e on the other axial end side of the large diameter portion 31a. The confirmation member 5 is axially positioned with respect to the housing 31 by the engagement between the bent portion 57a of the second tilt restricting portion 57 and the step portion 31e of the large diameter portion 31a.
[0041]
In the confirmation member 5 according to this connector, the first and second tilt restricting portions 56 and 57 integrally extending from the circumferential center of the C-shaped portion 51 to the one end side and the other end side in the axial direction are provided in the housing 31. By tilting the C-shaped part 51 held so as to stand upright in the direction perpendicular to the axis toward one end side or the other end side in the axial direction at least with the outer peripheral surface of the large diameter part 31a of the housing 31, regulate. Specifically, the tilt of the C-shaped portion 51 toward one end in the axial direction is restricted by the inner surface of the first tilt restricting portion 56 extending to the one end in the axial direction coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion 31a. On the other hand, the tilt of the C-shaped portion 51 toward the other end in the axial direction is restricted by the inner surface of the second tilt restricting portion 57 extending toward the other end in the axial direction coming into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion 31a. Is done. In particular, in this confirmation member 5, the bent portion 57a of the second tilt restricting portion 57 extending to the other axial end is engaged with the step portion 31e of the large diameter portion 31a. Tilt of the 51 toward the one end side and the other end side in the axial direction is more reliably regulated.
[0042]
For this reason, before the insertion of the male member 1, that is, the connection between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is not completely (proper) completed, the first locking portion 52 a of the confirmation member 5 and the window portion 35. When the confirmation member 5 is pulled out in an oblique direction inclined to either the one end side or the other end side with respect to the direction perpendicular to the axis when the circumferential end portion 35a is still locked. In addition, the C-shaped portion 51 is not tilted in the pulling direction, so that the locking between the first locking portion 52a of the confirmation member 5 and the circumferential end portion 35a of the window portion 35 is not easily released. Therefore, although the coupling between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is not completely completed, the confirmation member 5 is not detached from the housing 31 by being strongly pulled out in an oblique direction. The function as 5 is appropriately performed.
[0043]
Other configurations and operational effects are the same as those of the first embodiment.
(Embodiment 3)
In the connector of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 14, in the confirmation member 5 according to the second embodiment, the first tilt restricting portion 56 also extends to the step portion 31e on one end side in the axial direction of the large diameter portion 31e and bends at the tip thereof. A portion 56a is provided.
[0044]
Accordingly, the bent portions 56a and 57a of the first and second tilt restricting portions 56 and 57 are engaged with the step portions 31e and 31e on both axial sides of the large diameter portion 31a, respectively, so that the shaft of the confirmation member 5 with respect to the housing 31 is secured. The positioning in the direction can be reliably performed, and the relative movement in the axial direction of the confirmation member 5 with respect to the housing 31 can be reliably prevented. Further, the tilting of the C-shaped portion 51 described in the second embodiment can also be more reliably regulated on both sides in the axial direction.
[0045]
Other configurations and operational effects are the same as those of the second embodiment.
(Embodiment 4)
The connector of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 15 is provided in the housing 31 so that it can contact the bent portion 57a of the second tilt restricting portion 57 locked to the step portion 31e of the large diameter portion 31a in the second embodiment. An annular contact restricting body 32 is fixed at a predetermined position of the middle diameter portion 31b.
[0046]
Therefore, when the bent portion 57a of the second tilt restricting portion 57 is in contact with the contact restricting body 32, the tilt of the C-shaped portion 51 toward the one end side and the other end side in the axial direction can be more reliably restricted. It becomes.
Other configurations and operational effects are the same as those of the second embodiment.
(Embodiment 5)
The connector of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 16 is between the ring portion 53a constituting the handle portion 53 and the neck portion 53b connecting the ring portion 53a and the C-shaped portion 51 in the confirmation member 5 according to the first embodiment. In which one notch 53c is provided on the ring portion 53a side.
[0047]
The notch 53c is not completely completed (appropriate) before the male member 1 is completely inserted, that is, the male member 1 and the female member 3 are completely connected, and the first locking portion 52a of the confirmation member 5 and the When the confirmation member 5 is pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis while the circumferential end 35a of the window 35 is still locked, the first locking portion 52a of the confirmation member 5 and the window portion The ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53 is provided to be broken before the engagement with the circumferential end portion 35a of the 35 is released.
[0048]
In other words, after the insertion of the male member 1 is completed, that is, the coupling between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is completely (appropriate), the inclined second locking portion is formed by the diameter expansion of the C-shaped portion 51. When the confirmation member 5 is pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis in a state in which the circumferential edge 35b of the window portion 35 is locked, the ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53 is not broken. In addition, the notch 53c is provided.
For this reason, in this connector, before the insertion of the male member 1 is completed, that is, in a state where the coupling between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is not completely (proper) completed, the operator can use the ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53. When the finger or the like is hooked on and pulled in the direction perpendicular to the axis with an extremely strong force, the handle portion 53 is released before the locking between the first locking portion 52a of the confirmation member 5 and the circumferential end portion 35a of the window portion 35 is released. The ring portion 53a is broken (cut) at the notch 53c. At this time, if the operator's fingers or the like are detached from the ring portion 53a, the operator cannot pull the confirmation member 5 any more, and the confirmation member 5 damaged at the notch 53c is held in the housing 31 as it is. Remains. Therefore, the person who works afterwards visually recognizes that the confirmation member 5 damaged at the notch 53c is held by the housing 31, and thus the connection between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is completed. It can be confirmed that there is no.
[0049]
When the coupling between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is completed (appropriately), if the operator pulls out the ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53 of the confirmation member 5 with fingers or the like, The confirmation member 5 can be easily detached from the housing 31 without damaging the ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53 at the notch 53c.
Other configurations and operational effects are the same as those of the first embodiment.
[0050]
(Embodiment 6)
The connector of the present embodiment shown in FIG. 17 is between the ring portion 53a constituting the handle portion 53 and the neck portion 53b connecting the ring portion 53a and the C-shaped portion 51 in the confirmation member 5 according to the fourth embodiment. A pair of notches 53c and 53c that are opposed to each other in the width direction of the neck portion 53b are provided on the side of the neck portion 53b.
[0051]
This notch 53c is the same as the notch 53c described in the fifth embodiment. If the confirmation member 5 is pulled out from the housing 31 in the direction perpendicular to the axis before the male member 1 is completely inserted, the first engagement of the confirmation member 5 is achieved. The locking member 52 is provided so as to break the neck 53b of the handle portion 53 before the locking between the stopper portion 52a and the circumferential end portion 35a of the window portion 35 is released. When pulling out in the direction perpendicular to the axis, the neck portion 53b of the handle portion 53 is provided so as not to be broken.
[0052]
For this reason, in this connector, before the insertion of the male member 1 is completed, that is, in a state where the coupling between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is not completely (proper) completed, the operator can use the ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53. When the finger or the like is hooked on and pulled in the direction perpendicular to the axis with an extremely strong force, the handle portion 53 is released before the locking between the first locking portion 52a of the confirmation member 5 and the circumferential end portion 35a of the window portion 35 is released. The neck portion 53b is broken at the notch 53c, and a part of the neck portion 53b, the C-shaped portion 51, and the portions of the locking projections 52 of the confirmation member 5 remain held in the housing 31. Therefore, the person who works after that visually confirms that the confirmation member 5 thus damaged is held in the housing 31, so that the connection between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is not completed. It can be easily confirmed.
[0053]
When the coupling between the male member 1 and the female member 3 is completed (appropriately), if the operator pulls out the ring portion 53a of the handle portion 53 of the confirmation member 5 with fingers or the like, The confirmation member 5 can be easily detached from the housing 31 without damaging the neck 53b of the handle 53 at the notch 53c.
Other configurations and operational effects are the same as those of the fourth embodiment.
[0054]
【The invention's effect】
As described in detail above, in the connector according to the present invention, after the male member is coupled to the female member, the confirmation member does not pop out of the housing due to its elastic return force, so that it is detached from the housing after coupling. There is no need to collect the confirmation member. Therefore, the connector of the present invention can be applied to places where it is difficult for the confirmation member to fall off, places where it is difficult to pick up the fallen confirmation member, and the like.
[0055]
In addition, when the confirmation member is provided with the tilt restricting portion, the C-shaped portion is not tilted even when the confirmation member is pulled out obliquely in a state where the coupling between the male member and the female member is not completely completed. Since it is regulated, the locking between the first locking portion of the confirmation member and the circumferential end of the window portion does not easily come off, and accordingly, the confirmation member can function properly.
