この発明は、別途洗浄した哺乳びんに対し、その瓶口から乳首部を取り外した状態で次の使用に備えた殺菌と乾燥とを施し得る哺乳びんの殺菌・乾燥機の改良に関する。

産院の新生児室や保育園の乳児室などにおいては、洗浄した多数の哺乳びんをそれぞれ適切に殺菌することが必要とされている。

もっとも典型的には、かかる哺乳びんの殺菌は煮沸によるか、一定時間薬剤に哺乳びんを漬け込むことによりなされる。しかし、煮沸や薬剤への漬け込みによる哺乳びんの殺菌は相応の手間を要するものであり、また、殺菌後の乾燥を別途要すると共に、殺菌後の清浄状態を保った保管に格別の配慮を要するものであった。

こうしたことから、複数の哺乳びんを納めることができると共に、内部を加熱し納めた哺乳びんを乾燥させることが可能な収納室を備えた哺乳びんの保管庫が提供されている。また、かかる保管庫にあっては、収納室内に紫外線を照射する殺菌灯が配され、当該収納室に納められた哺乳びんに紫外線を照射して哺乳びんの殺菌を同時になすようにしたものもある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
こうした保管庫にあっては、乳首部を取り外した哺乳びんを瓶口を上にして起立状態に収納室に納めるタイプのものと、かかる瓶口を下にして起立状態に当該収納室に納めるタイプのものがある。また、いずれの場合も収納室の上部に殺菌灯を設け、紫外線を納められた哺乳びんの上方から照射するようにされている。

しかし、前者のタイプでは、先だってなされる洗浄に伴う水分が哺乳びんの底にたまり哺乳びん内部が適切に乾燥しにくい不都合があった。

また、後者のタイプでは、前記洗浄に伴う水分は哺乳びん内部から流れ落とすことができるものの、哺乳びん内部のエアが瓶口を通じて外部に抜け出し難いため、湿気を含んだエアの滞留によりやはり十分に哺乳びん内部を乾燥させることができないものであった。また、この後者のタイプでは、紫外線を哺乳びんの外部には照射できても哺乳びんの内部に照射させることができないため、哺乳びんの内部の適切な殺菌を期し難いものであった。

そこでこの発明は、予め洗浄された哺乳びんを、哺乳びんの多寡にかかわらず、その内部および外部においてそれぞれ適切かつ効率的に乾燥・殺菌させることができるようにすることを主たる目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的を達成するために、この発明にあっては哺乳びんの殺菌・乾燥機を、乳首部を瓶口より取り外した哺乳びんを瓶口を下にした起立状態で、かつ、当該瓶口を通じて当該哺乳びん内のエアをバケット外部に流出可能な状態で納めるバケットと、上部にエアの流入部を備え、かつ、下部にエアの流出部を備えた前記バケットの収納室を有する本体とを備えており、前記本体には、前記収納室の上部より当該収納室に加熱エアを吹き込ませる加熱エアの供給手段と、前記収納室の下部外側にあって当該収納室に収納されたバケットに納められた哺乳びんに下方から紫外線を照射する殺菌灯とが備えられている構成のものとした。

また、前記収納室内に送り込まれる加熱エアによって前記バケットに起立状態に納められた哺乳びんを加熱して殺菌・乾燥させることができる。かかるバケットに哺乳びんは瓶口を下にした起立状態で納められ、しかも、かかる加熱エアは哺乳びんの底側から瓶口側に向けて送られることから、このように送られる加熱エアによって哺乳びんの瓶口側が負圧となり加熱によって膨張される哺乳びん内部のエアはその瓶口側から適宜バケットを通じて前記収納室のエアの流出部から外部に流出される。この結果、湿気を含んだエアが哺乳びんの内部に滞留することがなく、哺乳びんの外部のみならず哺乳びんの内部も適切に乾燥させることができる。前記加熱エアは収納室の雰囲気温度を摂氏60度以上、より好ましくは摂氏75度以上に保つように当該収納室に供給されるようにしておくことが好ましい。細菌、ウイルス、カビ類は、水分と栄養分とがある状態で摂氏5度〜47度の温度下で増殖することが認められるためである。

具体的には、この実施の形態にあっては、方形の外郭形状を備えた網状に構成された底10と、この底10の四隅からそれぞれ上方に一体に延びる縦向きの枠材11と、この縦向きの枠材11間に一体に掛け渡されてバケット1の内部空間を区分する横向きの枠材12とから当該バケット1を構成している。そして、かかるバケット1における前記横向きの枠材12によって区分された内部空間のそれぞれに瓶口Haを下にして上方より哺乳びんHを入れ込むことができ、かつ、このように入れ込まれた哺乳びんHの瓶口Haを前記底10により支持すると共に、かかる哺乳びんHの側部を前記横向きの枠材12によって支持して複数本の哺乳びんHを同時に前記起立状態に納めるようにしてある。これにより、かかるバケット1に納められた哺乳びんHは、前記網状に構成される底10を通じて哺乳びんH内部のエアをバケット1の下方より外部に流出可能とされると共に、洗浄により哺乳びんH内部に残った水分をバケット1の下方に流し出すことができるものとされる。また、さらに、かかる哺乳びんHの瓶口Haを通じてバケット1の底10の下方に配される後述の殺菌灯6により哺乳びんHの内部に紫外線の照射を受けさせるものとされる。なお、この実施の形態にあっては、バケット1の上部側にある当該バケット1の一辺に沿った横向きの枠材12の長さ方向ほぼ中程の位置に、当該横向きの枠材12の一部を外側に張り出させるように屈曲させて形成された取っ手部13が形成されており、この取っ手部13を利用して、哺乳びんHの殺菌・乾燥が済んだ後の前記本体3の収納室4に納めたバケット1の取り出しを容易に行えるようにしてある。
