Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a moving handrail cleaning device for a passenger conveyor provided in a passenger conveyor such as an escalator.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a brush or cloth is used as a cleaning tool for a moving handrail cleaning device of a passenger conveyor. And when a cloth is used as a cleaning tool, it is possible to wipe off dust adhering to the surface of the moving handrail with the cloth by attaching a cleaning tool impregnated with a cleaning liquid or a polishing agent in advance. The surface of the moving handrail is polished.
[0003]
In addition, as a method of providing an independent cleaning liquid supply means and impregnating the cleaning liquid or polish into the cleaning tool, for example, as described in JP-A-5-70078, the liquid can be contacted with a moving handrail. A cleaning roll for cleaning the surface of the moving handrail, a cleaning liquid supply means for impregnating the cleaning roll into the cleaning roll from the outer surface of the cleaning roll, and a dirty cleaning liquid contained in the cleaning roll. There has been proposed an automatic cleaning device for moving handrails that includes a cleaning agent recovery means that sucks from the central portion of the cleaning roll and discharges it to the outside.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, when a conventional automatic handrail cleaning device for passenger conveyors has a belt-like cleaning tool that is impregnated with a cleaning solution, the cleaning tool is slid on the moving handrail using a part of the cleaning tool. Even though the dust is being wiped off, the cleaning liquid impregnated in the cleaning tool including the unused cleaning tool part flows out to the moving handrail side in a short time due to capillary action. In addition, since the cleaning liquid of unused cleaning tools evaporates due to natural drying, there is no cleaning liquid on unused parts of the cleaning tools, and there is a cleaning effect that wipes off dust from moving handrails when the cleaning tool is updated and brought into sliding contact. There was a problem of decreasing.
[0005]
The objective of this invention is providing the moving handrail cleaning apparatus of the passenger conveyor which can perform the stable cleaning over a long term.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve this object, the present invention comprises means for selectively abutting a cleaning tool in sliding contact with a moving handrail of a passenger conveyor on the moving handrail, and the moving handrail is moved from the cleaning tool as the moving handrail moves. In a moving handrail cleaning device for a passenger conveyor that automatically cleans the surface of the passenger and automatically updates the cleaning tool, a removable cleaning liquid supply means for impregnating the cleaning tool into the cleaning tool is provided inside the moving handrail cleaning device. In addition, a cleaning tool in the form of a roll is attached to the lid of the cleaning liquid tank of the cleaning liquid supply means .
[0007]
According to the means, the cleaning tool is brought into contact with the moving handrail by the means for selectively contacting the moving handrail with the cleaning tool that is in sliding contact with the moving handrail of the passenger conveyor, and the moving handrail moves with the movement. A moving handrail cleaning device for a passenger conveyor that automatically cleans the surface of the moving handrail from a cleaning tool and automatically updates the cleaning tool is provided on the cleaning tool before the cleaning tool contacts the moving handrail. The cleaning liquid supply means that can be impregnated with the cleaning liquid reduces the cleaning effect of the cleaning liquid and the polishing agent, or the cleaning effect of wiping off the dust of the moving handrail without the cleaning liquid and the polishing agent as in the past. It is possible to efficiently use cleaning liquids and polishes and replenish them systematically.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the form of the handrail cleaning device for passenger conveyors of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0009]
FIG. 1 is a side view of a passenger conveyor equipped with a passenger conveyor moving handrail cleaning device according to an embodiment of the present invention. The moving handrail 1 is configured to be movable along the guide 2 and moves in synchronization with an endless step (not shown). A moving handrail cleaning device 3 is provided at a portion facing the surface of the moving handrail 1.
