【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a solid waste fuel produced from combustible waste in industrial waste, packaging materials, municipal waste, etc. and having reduced odor, and a method for producing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Combustible waste in industrial waste, packaging materials, municipal waste, etc. has been disposed of by landfill or incineration.
Recently, in view of problems such as tightness of remaining capacity at landfill sites, difficulty in new location, and generation of dioxins from waste incinerators, combustible waste is effectively converted into solid fuel, and it is used at high temperatures and continuously. There has been a movement to reduce the amount of dioxins generated by combustion.
[0003]
Even in the Containers and Packaging Recycling Law, which will be fully enforced from 2000, if material recycling is not possible, the use as solid fuel is also mentioned.
The production of waste solidified fuel is produced by crushing combustible waste, adding additives such as lime, mixing, drying, and then compression molding.
In the case of solid fuel, as shown in JP-A-5-31478, by adding quick lime and slaked lime at the time of drying and compression molding, the solid fuel is prevented from decaying, and the odor is reduced. Therefore, the addition of clay minerals and pulverized coal is indicated.
JP-A-8-239675 discloses the addition of calcium silicate hydrate.
[0004]
〔problem〕
However, in the conventional technology, when producing solid waste fuel, adding lime such as quick lime or slaked lime becomes strong alkalinity, so that decay is prevented to some extent and odor generation is suppressed, but ammonia Such a weak alkaline gas is very likely to be generated and the odor cannot be completely suppressed, so that the working environment is deteriorated.
[0005]
In particular, when quick lime is used, it reacts rapidly with moisture, is consumed and converted to slaked lime, and becomes strongly alkaline, so that a weak alkaline gas such as ammonia gas is generated in large quantities from the solid waste fuel. Moreover, it cannot absorb excessive moisture and moisture during storage. Furthermore, quicklime is a water-inhibiting dangerous substance and requires careful storage and handling.
In addition, when using slaked lime, it is also strongly alkaline, so weak alkaline gas such as ammonia gas is generated. Moreover, since there is no effect | action which absorbs a surplus water | moisture content and humidity, there exists a possibility of decaying in the long term.
[0006]
For this reason, if quick lime or slaked lime is added during the production of solidified fuel for combustible waste, weak alkaline gas such as ammonia gas is very likely to be generated, and decay also progresses gradually during storage. There is no long-term odor reduction effect, and the working environment may deteriorate.
[0007]
In addition, when calcium silicate hydrate is added during the manufacture of solidified fuel for combustible waste, calcium silicate hydrate itself is less water-absorbing and hygroscopic than quick lime and cement. Inferior.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems in the prior art, and the problem specifically set in order to solve this problem is to reduce the odor in the production and storage of solid fuel, An object of the present invention is to provide a solidified fuel for waste and a method for producing the same for preventing deterioration of the working environment.
[0009]

[0013]
The method for producing a solidified fuel according to claim 4 is characterized in that an addition amount of at least one selected from the zeolite and the carbonaceous material with respect to the solidified fuel is 0.5 to 30%. To do.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described.
However, this embodiment is specifically described for better understanding of the gist of the invention, and does not limit the content of the invention unless otherwise specified.
[0017]
Target waste solidified fuel is manufactured from combustible waste such as combustible industrial waste, packaging materials such as paper and plastic, combustible miscellaneous goods, garbage and clothing and other combustible municipal waste. .
Manufacturing equipment is a combination of waste crushing, crushing, mixing, drying, and compression molding equipment.
The solid waste fuel is produced by combusting combustible waste, adding cement, at least one selected from zeolite and carbonaceous material, mixing, drying, and then compression molding.
[0018]
The added cement strongly absorbs and absorbs moisture to produce calcium silicate hydrate, calcium aluminate hydrate, etc. and slaked lime, so water absorption, hygroscopicity and more than calcium silicate hydrate alone. It is considered excellent in maintaining high alkalinity.
When cement is used, a portion of slaked lime is released due to cement hydration, but the rise of alkali is milder than the addition of quicklime and slaked lime, and the generation of alkaline gas such as ammonia gas is reduced.
[0019]
Moreover, since cement hydration proceeds gradually over a long period of time, the effect is sustained, and excess moisture and moisture are absorbed, so that it is difficult for spoilage to occur. In addition, since the hydration reaction of cement does not proceed unless water is absorbed, excess slaked lime is not generated when there is no water absorption, and weak alkaline gas is not generated. That is, cement is suitable for preventing spoilage while reducing the generation of weak alkaline gas such as ammonia gas generated by the reaction between surplus slaked lime and waste. Furthermore, the solidification action of the solidified fuel and the shape retention are improved by the solidification action of the cement.
[0020]
There is no restriction | limiting in particular in the cement to be used, A normal cement, an early strong cement, a blast furnace cement, a fly ash cement, an alumina cement, a jet cement etc. can be used. In particular, in blast furnace cement and fly ash cement, slaked lime generated in association with hydration reacts with blast furnace slag and fly ash to appropriately reduce the degree of alkalinity, so that the generation of weak alkaline gases such as ammonia gas is further reduced.
[0021]
Further, in order to reduce residual ammonia gas and odor due to decay during storage, it is essential to add at least one selected from a carbonaceous material and zeolite made of coal, activated carbon, charcoal, coke, or the like. The addition amount is preferably 0.5 to 30%.
In particular, zeolite is effective in reducing ammonia gas and the like, and carbonaceous materials are effective in reducing sulfur-based gas. It is desirable to add a carbonaceous material, particularly coal or activated carbon.
In general, it is effective to use both in combination.
[0022]
The zeolite to be added may be either synthetic zeolite or natural zeolite. More preferably, the zeolite has a pH value in the range of 6 to 8 when suspended in 3% water. When a zeolite having a pH value exceeding 8 is used, the generation of ammonia gas is promoted, and the odor reducing effect may be impaired.
The specific surface area of zeolite is about 10 to 150 m 2 / g.
Further, the form of zeolite is not particularly limited, but an anhydride having no crystallization water is more preferable because it is more excellent in adsorbing ammonia gas.
[0023]
The coal to be added is not particularly limited as long as it is prepared by pulverizing, for example, rexsei coal, lignite coal, anthracite coal, etc., which are usually used as fuel, and adjusting it to powder or fine particles.
The activated carbon to be added is not particularly limited as long as it is powdered or fine granular activated carbon, and used activated carbon may be regenerated by heat treatment.
[0024]
If the amount of zeolite, carbonaceous material, especially coal or activated carbon added to the solid waste fuel exceeds 30%, the odor reduction effect will not be improved even if the treatment cost and capacity increase.
On the other hand, if the amount of zeolite or carbonaceous material added to solid waste fuel is less than 0.5%, the odor reduction effect due to the addition will not be fully demonstrated.
[0025]
When using a zeolite and a carbonaceous material together, the mixing ratio can vary over a wide range.
However, depending on the odor generation status of the solid waste fuel, it may be added alone, or both may be used together, and the mixing ratio may be appropriately determined.
[0026]
When the solidified fuel is manufactured by adding only cement without adding zeolite and carbonaceous material, the odor is detected immediately after the manufacturing, and the solidified fuel storage period is followed. Odor increases.
On the other hand, when cement is used in the production of solid waste fuel and at least one selected from zeolite and carbonaceous material is added, the odor is recognized even if the moisture remains about 10%. Less than.
[0027]
【Example】
[Examples 1 to 9]
In the process of compressing and combusting combustible waste in municipal waste with the composition shown in Table 1 to produce solid waste fuel, 5% of cement is added, and synthetic zeolite anhydride, coal powder and activated carbon are shown in Table 3. A cylindrical solid fuel having a diameter of 2.5 cm was produced by adding and mixing in a blending amount.
[0028]
The produced waste solidified fuel was evaluated for odor intensity after 7 days, and further immersed for 5 minutes in water for 3 days. The odor intensity was evaluated by putting approximately 100 g of a sample into a 2 liter sample bottle, "Odor smell measurement method-3-point comparative odor bag method measurement manual" (Yoshiyo Iwasaki, Odor Control Research Association, 1997) As described in May 30), 6 judges in the keyhole type odorless room smelled the odor and evaluated by the 6-step odor intensity display method shown in Table 2 as the standard. The results are shown in Table 3.
As a result of Table 3, the odor intensity was below the recognition threshold value and almost odorless, and the odor reduction effect was sufficiently exhibited. In addition, when no cement was used, the shape collapsed when immersed in water.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the solid waste fuel according to claim 1 of the present invention, combustible waste, 3% zeolite having a pH of 8 or less when suspended in water, and cement are mixed and formed by compression molding. As a result, the odor, particularly the ammonia odor, can be made non-brominated, and can be stored and processed without deteriorating the working environment.
Moreover, if this solid waste fuel is used for cement clinker firing, the unburned component in the fuel is taken into the cement clinker as a component in the cement clinker, and the recycling efficiency can be increased.
Since the zeolite to be added has a pH of 8 or less in a 3% aqueous suspension, the odor can be reduced effectively, particularly for the generation of ammonia gas.
[0037]
In the waste solidified fuel according to claim 2, by adding at least one carbonaceous material selected from coal, activated carbon, charcoal and coke to the waste solidified fuel according to claim 1, odor reduction effect In particular, the odor can be reduced effectively against sulfur-based gas generation.
[0038]
A method for producing a solidified fuel according to claim 3 is a method for producing a solidified fuel by drying and compressing combustible waste, and having a pH of 8 or less when suspended in 3% water And 0.5 to 30% of cement added, the rise of alkali can be moderated, the generation of weak alkaline gas can be effectively reduced, and it can be made difficult to rot and is discarded. The formability and shape retention of the solidified fuel can be improved.
[0039]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for producing a solidified fuel comprising: adding at least one selected from the zeolite and the carbonaceous material to the solidified fuel in an amount of 0.5 to 30%; The odor can be effectively reduced against the generation of weak alkaline gas such as sulfur and sulfur-based gas.
In addition, the mixing ratio of additives can be determined as appropriate according to the odor generation status of the solid waste fuel, and a more detailed response can be made according to the raw material and manufacturing method of the solid waste fuel. Can be reduced.
