【従来の技術】
ボディパネルの表面に内装材としてのドアトリムとガーニッシュとを隣接させて添装固定した自動車用ドアは広く知られているが、従来はボディパネルの表面にガーニッシュとドアトリムとを相互に干渉することなくほぼ密着させて個別に固定するのが普通である。

ところが、ボディパネルの表面にガーニッシュとドアトリムとを相互に干渉することなくほぼ密着させて個別に固定する場合には、ドアトリムやガーニッシュの成形上のバラツキや変形等に起因してガーニッシュとドアトリムとの密着状態が維持できず、相互間に不自然な隙間があいてしまい外観が著しく低下するという問題点があった。また両者を適正に密着させた状態にしようとすると、各々の部品の成形精度の管理がシビアになり生産性に劣るという問題点もあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上記のような従来の問題点を解決して、ガーニッシュとドアトリムとの密着状態を容易かつ確実に維持することができて、両者間に隙間を発生させることなく優れた外観を呈することができ、しかも、隙間調整のための各々の部品の成形精度の管理も容易で優れた生産性を発揮することができるうえにドアトリムのガーニッシュ側端縁を専用の固定部材で固定しなくてもボディパネルに対し押圧・固定できる自動車用ドアの内装材取付機構を提供することを目的として完成されたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するためになされた本発明の自動車用ドアの内装材取付機構は、ボディパネルの表面に内装材としてのドアトリムとガーニッシュとを隣接させて添装固定した自動車用ドアにおいて、ドアトリムはそのガーニッシュ側端縁に鍔片が延設されたものとする一方、前記ガーニッシュの裏側に隣接するドアトリムの鍔片に先端が当接されて該鍔片をボディパネルに向け押圧する突部が設けられたものとして、ガーニッシュをボディパネルに連結すると同時に、ドアトリムのガーニッシュ側端縁が鍔片を押圧する前記突部によりボディパネルに押圧・固定されてガーニッシュ (2) とドアトリム (1) との間に隙間を形成しないようにしてあることを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、図面を参照しつつ本発明の好ましい実施の形態を示す。
図1〜図2は、自動車のフロントガラス側の内装を示すものであって、図中1はリテーナなどの固定手段でパネル表面へ添装固定されるドアトリム、2はガーニッシュ、3はボディパネルであり、このボディパネル3の表面にガーニッシュ2がドアトリム1と隣接するように添装固定されている点は従来のこの種のガーニッシュの取付機構と基本的に同じである。

そして、本発明において用いるドアトリム1は、そのガーニッシュ側端縁にガーニッシュ側に延びる鍔片1aが形成されたものとしてある。一方、本発明において用いるガーニッシュ2は、その裏側に前記ボディパネル3に先端が当接されてガーニッシュ2をボディパネル3に固定するためのリテーナ連結部2bと、隣接するドアトリム1の鍔片1aに先端が当接されて該鍔片1aをボディパネル3に向け押圧する突部2aとが設けられたものとしてある。そして、ガーニッシュ2を前記リテーナ連結部2bにおいてボディパネル3にリテーナ4をもって連結すると、ドアトリム1のガーニッシュ側の端縁が鍔片1aを押圧する前記突部2aによりボディパネル3に押圧・固定されるようにしてあり、これによりガーニッシュ2とドアトリム1との間に隙間を形成させることなく、かつ両者の密着状態を確実に維持するのである。

なお、図示の実施の形態における突部2aはガーニッシュ2と一体成形されている板状のリブとしたが、棒状のボス等であってもよいことは勿論である。なお、図において5はガーニッシュ2の裏側の所要箇所に設けられる位置決め用突起、6はボディパネル3に設けられたリテーナ係合孔、7は同じくボディパネル3に設けられた前記位置決め用突起5に対応する位置決め孔である。

図3〜図4は、自動車のリヤガラス側の内装を示すものであり、この場合も前記フロントガラス側と同様に、ドアトリム1の端縁にガーニッシュ側に延びる鍔片1aが形成され、一方、ガーニッシュ2の裏側にはガーニッシュ2をボディパネル3に固定するためのリテーナ連結部2bと、隣接するドアトリム1の鍔片1aに先端が当接されて該鍔片1aをボディパネル3に向け押圧する突部2aとが設けられて前記した場合と同様、前記鍔片1aがこの突部2aによって押圧・固定されるように構成されている。

このように構成されたものは、ボディパネル3の表面にドアトリム1を添装してリテーナ4などでボディパネル3に保持させるとともに、ガーニッシュ2をボディパネル3の表面に前記した位置決め用突起5と位置決め孔7によりドアトリム1と隣接するように位置合せし、リテーナ連結部2bに装着したリテーナ4をボディパネル3に設けられたリテーナ係合孔6に係合させてボディパネル3に保持させれば、リテーナ4によりガーニッシュ2がボディパネル3に固定されると同時に、ドアトリム1の端縁に形成した鍔片1aはガーニッシュ2の裏側に設けたリブ状或いは棒状の突部2aによって押圧されることとなるので、ドアトリム1のガーニッシュ側の端縁は鍔片1aを押圧する前記突部2aによりボディパネル3に押圧・固定され、従って、ガーニッシュ2をドアトリム1との間に隙間が形成されることなく且つ両者の密着状態を確実に維持した状態で隣接して取付けできることとなるのである。

このように、本発明ではドアトリム1の端縁にガーニッシュ側に延びる鍔片1aを形成するとともに該鍔片1aをガーニッシュ2の裏側に垂設した突部2aで押圧・固定するように構成したことにより、ガーニッシュ2を隙間を発生させることなくスッキリと装着できて優れた外観を有する高級感に溢れた内装を提供できることとなる。

【発明の効果】
以上の説明からも明らかなように、本発明はガーニッシュとドアトリムとの密着状態を容易かつ確実に維持することができて、両者間に隙間を発生させることなく優れた外観を呈することができ、また、ドアトリムのガーニッシュ側端縁を専用の固定部材で固定することなくガーニッシュで固定できるので部品点数を少なくできるうえに、隙間調整のための各々の部品の成形精度の管理も容易で優れた生産性を発揮することができるものである。
よって本発明は従来の問題点を一掃した自動車用ドアの内装材取付機構として、産業の発展に寄与するところは極めて大である。
