Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a method for discriminating a copy obtained by copying a printed matter such as a gold voucher or a commuter pass with a copying machine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, in order to suppress counterfeit products such as gold vouchers copied with a copying machine, when copying with a copying machine by providing an area composed of halftone dots with a size exceeding the resolving power of the copying machine in the printed matter, A copy check system was used to identify counterfeit objects by making use of the fact that the area became white and the pattern emerged.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in recent years, the resolution of color copiers has further increased due to technological advances in color copiers. Therefore, it is difficult to sufficiently enhance the copy check effect with a method using halftone dots exceeding the resolution of copiers. It has become.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a copy discrimination method capable of easily distinguishing between an original print and its copy. is there.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention uses a printed matter having a discrimination area in which specific colors are regularly arranged, and a discrimination tool having a concealment area that conceals at least one color in the discrimination area. The printed material is distinguished from the printed material based on the presence or absence of a moire pattern when the discriminating tool is superimposed on the printed material and when the discriminating tool is superimposed on the printed material. Is the method.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic explanatory diagram of one embodiment of the present invention. When the discriminating tool 3 is placed on the printed material 1, a moire pattern is generated. Further, when the discriminating tool 3 is placed on a copy of the printed matter 1 instead of the printed matter 1, a moire pattern does not occur. In this manner, it is determined whether the printed material is an original printed material or a copied material based on the presence or absence of a moire pattern.
[0007]
FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the original printed matter 1. As the printed matter 1, there are a gold ticket, a commuter pass, a betting ticket, a ship ticket, or other sheets. The printed matter 1 is provided with a discrimination region 5. In FIG. 2, 6 indicates a dot, 7 indicates cyan, 9 indicates magenta, and 11 indicates yellow. The color types are not limited to cyan, magenta, and yellow, and other colors may be used. The dot 6 is a concept including halftone dots.
[0008]
In the discrimination region 5, the dots of cyan 7, magenta 9, and yellow 11 are regularly arranged so as to form an angle of +45 degrees with respect to the reference line E. In areas other than the discrimination area 5, cyan 7, magenta 9, and yellow 11 are arranged so as to form a pattern on the printed matter. In FIG. 2, for convenience, cyan 7, magenta 9, and yellow 11 are arranged so as to form an angle of −45 degrees with respect to the reference line even in an area other than the identification area 5. There is no need to arrange them regularly. However, only a specific color is not concealed even when the concealment area 13 of the discriminator 3 described later is used.
Note that it is difficult to recognize the discrimination region 5 even when the printed matter 1 is directly viewed. This is because the color of the printed matter is determined by the mesh%, and the mesh% is the same inside and outside the area. Furthermore, it can be made more difficult to understand by printing other patterns on this pattern as illusion patterns.
[0009]
FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of the discriminator 3. The discriminator 3 is made of a film or the like, and has a transmission region 13 and a concealment region 15. The transmission region 13 transmits light, and the concealment region 15 is provided so as to conceal only a specific color pattern in the discrimination region 5 of the printed matter 1. FIG. 4 shows a state in which the discriminating tool 3 is placed on the printed matter 1, and only cyan 7 in the discrimination area 5 is hidden. Accordingly, the color balance is lost in the discrimination area 5 and a moire pattern is generated on the discrimination area 5.
In the case shown in FIG. 4, C, M, and Y are regularly arranged in the discrimination region 5 so as to have the same +45 degree angle, and in this way, the angle between the discrimination tool 3 and the printed material 1. Moire can be generated simply by combining the two. Further, according to this configuration, by shifting the discriminating tool 3, moire of many colors is generated, and it becomes easy to reveal the moire pattern.
[0010]
FIG. 5 is an enlarged view of a copy 21 obtained by copying the print 1 with a copying machine. In FIG. 5, 23 indicates a discrimination area, 25 indicates cyan, 27 indicates magenta, and 29 indicates yellow. Generally, since the modulation method for generating an image pattern is different between printing and a copying machine, if the printed material 1 is copied, the pattern of the copied material 21 is as shown in FIG.
[0011]
FIG. 6 shows a state in which the discriminator 3 is placed on the copy 21. Even when the discriminating tool 3 is placed on the copy 21, a specific color of cyan, magenta, and yellow in the discrimination area 23 is not concealed, so that a moire pattern does not occur in the discrimination area 23. As described above, according to the present embodiment, by using the discriminator 3, it is possible to easily discriminate between the original printed material 1 and the copied material 21. It is also possible to deal with a copy 21 copied by a high-resolution copying machine.
[0012]
In the case of FIG. 3, a large number of squares are arranged in the concealment area 15 of the discriminator 3, but any shape may be used as long as a specific color in the discrimination area 5 can be concealed. For example, a large number of round shapes can be arranged or a belt shape can be used.
[0013]
5 is obtained by scanning the printed matter shown in FIG. 2 in the direction A in FIG. 2, but when the copying machine is scanned in the direction B in FIG. May be indistinguishable from a copy. The B direction is a direction in which each color in the discrimination region 5 is arranged, that is, a direction of +45 degrees with respect to the reference line E.
[0014]
In such a case, as shown in FIG. 7, a first discrimination area 35 and a second discrimination area 37 are provided for the printed matter 31. In the first discrimination area 35, each color is arranged in the C direction (+45 degrees). In the second discrimination area 37, each color is arranged in the D direction (+60 degrees). Therefore, even if the printed material 31 is scanned in the C direction to create a copied material, the original printed material 31 and the copied material can be determined by the second determination area 37.
Note that the color arrangement directions of the first discrimination area 35 and the second discrimination area 37 are not orthogonal to each other, or may be any direction as long as they are not in the same direction.
[0015]
In each of the above-described embodiments, the example using three colors of cyan, magenta, and yellow has been described. However, other colors may be used, and the present invention is applied to printed matter such as two-color printing. can do.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, according to the present invention, it is possible to easily identify an original printed material and a copy thereof.
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1 is a schematic explanatory view of the present embodiment. FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of printed matter 1. FIG. 3 is an enlarged view of discriminating tool 3. FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a state where discriminating tool 3 is placed on printed matter. 5] Enlarged view of the copy 21 [FIG. 6] A diagram showing a state in which the discriminator 3 is placed on the copy 21 [FIG.
