Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a handrail for a bathtub, and more particularly, to a handrail that is detachably attached to an upper end portion of a thick side wall plate (also referred to as an apron) of the bathtub.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A variety of welfare tools are now on the market, as the “Welfare Tool Law” was enacted in 1993.
[0003]
Handrails for bathrooms are also widely used as easy and convenient welfare tools, and are useful for bathing people with physical disabilities, the elderly and children of lower grades (hereinafter referred to as bathers).
[0004]
Of these handrails for bathrooms, when the handrails are fixed directly to the bathroom wall, especially when an amateur fixes them to an existing wall, some wall materials may not have sufficient fixing force, so an unexpected peeling accident May occur.
[0005]
Therefore, handrails for bathtubs that are easy to check the strength (according to the JIS standard bath apron surface deformation test) and can be easily installed even by an amateur have come to be widely used.
[0006]
Various proposals have been made regarding handrails for bathtubs. For example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-39482, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-60590, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 4-4630, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 4-43189, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 4-4889, Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 4-54290, Japanese Various proposals have been made by Kaihei 6-48490, JP-A-11-47016, and the like.
[0007]
The present applicant has also proposed the handrail for bathtubs shown in FIG.
[0008]
This will be described. This bathtub handrail 100 includes a downward U-shaped extending member 2 and a pressing plate 5 with a handle 104 in the bathtub for fixing the extending member 2 to the apron 3 (see FIG. 2) of the bathtub. The gripping member and a downward U-shaped vertical gripping portion (also referred to as a grip) 6 for a bather standing outside the bathtub of the straddling member 2, etc., and the pressing plate 5 is a stainless steel plate. The elastic protective plate 7 is attached to one surface thereof, and one end of a screw rod 108 is connected to the central portion of the other surface via a pin coupling mechanism.
[0009]
The screw rod 108 is screwed to a nut loosely fitted to one foot plate 2a of the straddling member 2.
[0010]
The handle 104 is fitted on the other end side of the screw rod 108 via the nut.
[0011]
In addition, the handle 104 is formed with a cavity portion in which the other end side of the screw rod 108 can be screwed back and forth in the axial direction.
[0012]
Therefore, if the handle 104 is rotated, the nut rotates integrally. Therefore, even if the other end of the screw rod 108 is screwed back and forth in the cavity, and the handle 104 is rotated, the handle is not moved in the bathtub. The position is not changed.
[0013]
Therefore, the handrail 100 for a bathtub is convenient for a bather or the like that can be comfortably provided with some support when the bather enters and leaves the bathtub, and the position of the handle 104 in the bathtub does not change. Therefore, it does not get in the way, and it has a feature that the bath lid can be formed with the handrail 100 attached.
[0014]
By the way, not only the handrail 100 for bathtubs but also most handrails for bathtubs are composed of a single grip 6 parallel or orthogonal to the apron 3 of the bathtub in plan view. Conceivable.
[0015]
That is, a person who takes a bath by gripping the handrail 100 for the bathtub enters the bathtub while moving the hips horizontally, turns 90 degrees around the hips, or just enters the apron 3 Even more, when entering the bathtub with both hands (see Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 4-4630), enter the bathtub in the way you want, but in either case, hold the grip with both hands and enter the bathtub. In order to do so, there is a problem that this grip is enlarged, and as a result, an excessive moment acts on the handrail attachment portion (pressing plate 5), which may lead to an unexpected situation.
[0016]
On the other hand, two grips, so-called twin-grip type handrails, are disclosed in the utility model registration No. 2547487, JP-A-1-320306, JP-A-8-140880, and the above-mentioned facts proposed by the applicant. As already known in Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 4-4889, in such a handgrip of a twin grip type, for example, two downward U-shaped grips are substantially orthogonal or C-shaped in plan view on the apron of the bathtub. If you try to take a bath using both of these grips one at a time and using both hands almost simultaneously, the gripping position will not be parallel to your shoulders and your body will be extremely unnatural. As a result, there was a problem that it was difficult to use. Therefore, there was no idea of using both hands in the conventional twin-grip handrail.
[0017]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the present invention is mainly intended to solve the above problems, and if necessary, a caregiver can grip one grip and a bather can grasp the other grip to facilitate care. .
[0018]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve such an object, the present invention comprises: 1) a bather's grip provided lower in the vicinity of the upper part of the apron of the bathtub; The two grips having substantially the same shape in outline view are erected substantially parallel to the inner and outer surfaces of the apron, so that the gripping positions of the grips with both hands of the bather are parallel to both shoulders. The bathing handrail is characterized in that the body of the bather is leaned forward to make it easy to raise its feet, and 2) used in a manner straddling the apron of the bathtub In the bathtub handrail comprising a downward U-shaped sheet metal straddling member and a bather grip erected on the straddling member, the grip is provided lower in the vicinity of the upper part of the apron of the bathtub. In the shape of a letter or a semicircle In addition, the two grips, which are configured by a vertical gripping body and are substantially the same in external view, are erected substantially parallel to the inner and outer surfaces of the apron so that the bather can grip with both hands. The gist is a handrail for bathtubs according to claim 1 or 2 in which one of the two grips is fixed up and down freely.
[0019]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The invention will be described in more detail by means of an embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings.
FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of a first embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a schematic perspective view of a second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a detailed partially cutaway side view of FIG. 1, and FIG. FIG. 5 is a plan view of FIG. 3, and the description of the same or common parts as in FIG. 6 is simplified or omitted.
[0020]
Both the handrails 1 and 1A for the bathtubs of the first and second embodiments of the present invention employ a screw-type pressing plate tightening mechanism, that is, a gripping member, and the tightening stroke is the thickness of the apron 3. On the other hand, the adjustment range is large from the minimum value to approximately twice the value or to the value of 1/3 times the minimum value, such as a range that can be adjusted from 45 mm to 80 mm or a range that can be adjusted from 80 mm to 115 mm. It can be expanded to a wide width, and it is generalized to cope with the diversification of the thickness of the apron 3.
[0021]
In addition, the screw retraction stroke range of the screw rod 8 is restricted to be reduced so that the screwing operation is facilitated, and as a result, the tightening force can be made uniform.
[0022]
The feature of the handrail 1 for a bathtub according to the first embodiment of the present invention is, as shown in FIG. 1, in particular, a so-called twin grip type, and these twin first and second (both main and auxiliary) are configured. The grips 6 and 6a are erected on the straddling member 2 made of a metal such as a downward U-shaped stainless steel.
[0023]
This straddling member 2 is provided with a pressing plate 5 with a handle provided inside the bathtub so as to be detachably fixed to the apron 3 of the bathtub, that is, a screw type pressing plate tightening mechanism is provided. Yes.
[0024]
Here, the first and second grips 6 and 6a having a downward U-shape (including a substantially semicircular shape) have substantially the same shape, in particular, the same height in external view, and moreover than the conventional example described above. The bather, such as an elderly person, holds both the first and second grips 6 and 6a with one hand in each hand, with the height being lowered to about half or less, and in parallel with the upper part of the apron 3 near the inner and outer surfaces. At the same time, it is gripped to enter the bathtub. Of course, only one grip may be used.
[0025]
Therefore, it is not only convenient for bathers with weak grip and strength, but using both hands makes the body lean forward and naturally lowers its posture, which makes it easier to lift up the apron 3 Easy to get over safety.
[0026]
As a result, at the tightening point where the handrail 1 is attached to the apron 3, even if these grips (6, 6a) are used with both hands, the bather can be configured to be low by gripping the two grips. It is possible to suppress an excessive moment due to the arm strength, weight, etc., and thus to obtain the reliability of handrail attachment.
[0027]
In particular, if the 2nd grip 6a inside the bathtub is configured to be able to rise and fall, when entering the bathtub, this is raised and fixed, while lying and fixed horizontally during bathing, the body during bathing It can be held stably.
[0028]
Of course, the bath lid can be closed without a gap if it is laid down horizontally.
[0029]
If necessary, if the bather holds the second grip 6a of the two standing grips (6, 6a) and the caregiver (caregiver or adult) holds the first grip 6, slipping will occur. Easy care in the bathroom is safe, and when taking a bath in the bather's habit, when taking a bath by lifting the handrail 1 so that the caregiver does not come off by pressing the first grip 6 Various effects of twin grip type can be achieved.
[0030]
Next, the handrail 1 will be described in detail. That is, in FIG. 3, FIG. 4, and FIG. 5, the pressing plate 5, the handle 4 and the screw rod 8 are described separately.
[0031]
The tip of the screw rod 8 is swingably connected so that the pressing plate 5 is raised and lowered, and a nut with a flange (not shown) made of metal such as free-cutting brass is screwed from the center portion of the screw rod 8 to the base side. The grip handle 4 with the potch 10 is fitted on the nut.
[0032]
The nut with flange is rotatably supported by a foot plate 2a located in the bathtub of the straddling member 2. When the grip handle 4 is rotated forward and backward, the nut with flange rotates integrally with the screw rod. As a result, the pressing plate 5 is pressed against the inner surface of the apron 3 or released.
[0033]
The grip handle 4 is an injection molded product made of foamed PP (synthetic resin), and its shape is composed of a disc-shaped grip portion 9 and a small cylindrical base portion 9A. Two (plural) small hemispherical pots 10, 10,... Are integrally formed.
[0034]
The diameter of the disc-shaped gripping portion 9 is about 65 to 70 mmφ as a convenient dimension for an eagle gripping by an adult, the virtual outer diameter composed of these small hemispherical potches 10 is about 75 mmφ, and the thickness of the disc is about 30 mm is set so that even a user with a weak fingertip can conveniently grasp the eagle, and the pressing force required for the pressing plate 5 is generated. The length of the grip handle 4 in the horizontal direction, that is, the amount of protrusion at the bathtub is suppressed to about 50 mm so that it does not protrude so much.
[0035]
Next, the straddling member (also referred to as a frame) 2 will be described. 1, 3, and 5, one foot plate 2 a of the downward U-shaped straddling member 2 is in a bathtub, and a pressing plate 5 with a handle is provided on the foot plate 2 a.
[0036]
A pair of brackets 11, 11 bent outward are formed on both edges of the foot plate 2 a so as to surround the grip handle 4 and leave a space where the eagle can be gripped.
[0037]
A second (auxiliary) grip 6a, which will be described in detail later, is attached to the brackets 11 and 11.
[0038]
The other foot plate 2b is outside the bathtub, and a total of four (plural) screw-fastening recesses 12, 12... Are formed in the vicinity of both sides of the footplate 2b, and these screw-fastening recesses 12 are also covered. Then, the thick rubber plate 13 is attached to the entire inner surface, and the pressing force by the pressing plate 5 is received without any bias, so that the handrail 1 for the bathtub is firmly attached to the apron 3 and the apron 3 is not damaged. .
[0039]
A thin rubber plate 14 is also attached to the inner surface of the top plate of the straddling member 2.
[0040]
A screw 15 is inserted into the screw recesses 12, 12... And the screw 15 is screwed into an insert nut 16 embedded in the first grip 6 at the time of molding, whereby the first grip 6 is fitted to the foot plate 2b. Is standing.
[0041]
The first and second grips 6 and 6a will be described. Each of these grips 6 and 6a is composed of a downward-shaped U-shaped vertical gripping body for bathers, and is constituted by two-layer molding in which foamed PP is used as a core material and the gripped portion is covered with an elastomer. It is hard to slip and secures safety, and in particular, the toes 18, 18 are connected to the downwardly facing ends of the second grip 6a. This toe 18 is formed of a pipe body.
[0042]
The first grip 6 is attached to the one foot plate 2b as described above, but the second grip 6a is attached to the brackets 11 and 11 of the other foot plate 2a as follows. It is attached so that it can be raised and lowered as indicated by the arrow A.
[0043]
These brackets 11 and 11 are respectively constituted by semi-discs having the same outer dimensions, and the two foot rods 18 and 18 of the second grip 6a are respectively connected by the pivot pins 17 that are secured at the approximate center positions thereof. It is pivotally supported.
[0044]
Accordingly, the second grip 6a can move up and down as indicated by the arrow A around the pivot pins 17 and 17 on the outer surfaces of the pair of brackets 11 on both sides.
[0045]
Of these brackets 11, the first bracket 11 is provided with an arcuate guide hole 19 in the first quadrant extending from the vertical position to the horizontal position, and the first toe 18 that penetrates one foot rod 18 through the guide hole 19. The tip of the guide pin 20 is inserted and protrudes.
[0046]
Further, the second bracket 11 is provided with a through hole 21 at a vertical position corresponding to the guide hole 19 and a through hole 22 at a horizontal position, and the other footpad 18 is provided in these through holes 21 and 22. The leading end of the penetrating second guide pin 23 is inserted and removed and protrudes.
[0047]
Accordingly, the first and second guide pins 20 and 23 are inserted through the footpad 18, the guide hole 19 or the through holes 21 and 22 in this order, and the distal ends of the first and second guide pins 20 and 23 protrude inside the bracket 11 to form the second grip. Smooth and secure the undulation and fixing of 6a.
[0048]
The head portion of the first guide pin 20 is formed in a thin round shape, and a guide pin stopper 24 is fixed to the tip portion of the shaft portion, and the second grip 6a of the second grip 6a is secured by the guide pin stopper 24. Standing and lodging are ensured in cooperation with the through holes 21 and 22.
[0049]
A knob 25 is formed on the head portion of the second guide pin 23, and the second guide pin 23 is pulled out outwardly and is pulled out from the through holes 21 and 22, and the second grip 6a. Undulate as shown by the arrow A.
[0050]
A return compression coil spring 26 is externally fitted to the shaft portion of the second guide pin 23, and the second guide pin 23 is pulled out against the elasticity of the coil spring 26, and penetrates through its tip. The hole 21 or 22 is automatically inserted again by the compression return force of the coil spring 26.
[0051]
And the operation which raises the 2nd grip 6a by grasping this knob 25 may of course be performed by a bather, but a family member such as a caregiver performs.
[0052]
The lower end of the toe 18 is covered with a cap 27, and the second grip 6a and the toe 18 are fixed to an insert nut 28 embedded in the end of the second grip 6a. They are connected by screwing screws 30 through washers 29.
[0053]
Next, the handrail 1A for bathtubs of the 2nd Example of this invention is described. In FIG. 2, unlike the handrail 1, the bathtub handrail 1A is provided with a third grip 32 instead of the second grip (auxiliary grip) 31 standing upright without falling down in the bathtub. ing.
[0054]
The downward U-shaped straddling member 33 is integrated with the top plate 35 and one foot plate 36 in an inverted L shape, and the top plate 35 and the other foot plate are integrated with the first grip 34. Is formed in a downward U-shape as a whole by hinge coupling 37 so as to be able to undulate in the direction of arrow B. When the bath lid is put on, the second grip 31 side is raised upward with the hinge coupling 37 as the center.
[0055]
When the user takes a bath, the user returns to the original state and presses and fixes the inner surface of the apron 3 with the pressing plate 39 with a handle, and presses the upper surface of the apron 3 with the pressing screw 40 to fix the hinge coupling 37.
[0056]
The third grip 32 can be replaced on either side of the grip handle 38.
[0057]
The other structure is attached in common with the handrail 1 for bathtubs of the first embodiment and can be replenished as it is because it is omitted.
[0058]
In short, the handrail 1A for the bathtub of the second embodiment is configured by a triple grip type, and not only can each grip be firmly attached to the straddling member 33, but it is further adapted to the use desired by the user. be able to.
[0059]
Further, as the barrier-free bathtub, two grips (6, 6a) provided in advance in a manufacturing factory or the like may be provided so as not to be detachable, and the grip at that time may be an inverted L-shape.
[0060]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first and second aspects of the invention, when the bather enters and exits the bathtub using both hands, the body can be gripped in a naturally stable state, and not only the safe entry / exit operation is performed, but the body is lowered and the foot is lowered. It is easy to lift and it is easy to get over the apron. If there is a caregiver, the care work can be facilitated.
[0061]
Therefore, the range of use can be expanded (free) from a light barrier to a heavy barrier state for bathers.
[0062]
According to invention of Claim 2, it can adapt to a user's various requests that a caregiver can care for stably.
