Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wire protector for protecting a wire such as a wire harness.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 2-83618 discloses a wire protector as shown in FIG.
In FIG. 3, reference numeral 11 denotes a cylindrical body having a slit 12 on one side thereof. The cylindrical body 11 separated by the slit 12 rises from both side edges 13 and 13 ′ to the locking pieces 14 and 14 'is provided. Reference numeral 15 denotes a locking tool that engages with the locking pieces 14 and 14 '.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, the conventional wire protector is provided with the locking pieces raised from the both side edges of the cylindrical cut, and the locking tools are engaged with the locking pieces.
For this reason, the structure is complicated, and when the wire bundle accommodated in the cylindrical body is small, both side edges 13 and 13 'are pressed to narrow the distance between them and the locking pieces 14 and 14' are locked to the locking tool 15. However, when the wire bundle becomes thick, the width of the slit 12 cannot be reduced, and the front end of the locking tool 15 is engaged with the locking pieces 14 and 14 ′ and pushed in the longitudinal direction. Workability becomes very poor. An object of the present invention is to provide an electric wire protector that can easily accommodate an electric wire with a simple structure.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, in the invention of claim 1, the invention comprises a flexible inner cylinder that accommodates a wire bundle and a flexible outer cylinder that accommodates the inner cylinder. The inner cylinder has a slit along the longitudinal direction on one side of the peripheral wall, and has a locking protrusion along the longitudinal direction opposite to the slit on the other side, and the outer cylinder is on the one side of the peripheral wall. It has a cut along the longitudinal direction that engages with the locking protrusion.
A slit is provided in the longitudinal direction of the inner cylinder, a locking ridge projecting outward is provided opposite to the slit, and the slit provided in the longitudinal direction of the outer cylinder is widened to the inner cylinder. Since the exterior is provided, the structure is simple and the electric wire can be accommodated easily.
Further, the outer cylinder has an inner diameter equal to or larger than the outer diameter of the inner cylinder so that the outer cylinder fits in accordance with the diameter of the wire bundle accommodated in the inner cylinder. It is chosen from the small one.
With this configuration, multiple types of outer cylinders with different inner diameters are prepared, and an outer cylinder with a diameter that matches the thickness of the wire bundle is used, so the inner cylinder is shared with various wire harnesses. Can reduce costs.
[0005]
In the invention of claim 2, the thickness of the inner cylinder is gradually made thinner toward the cut. Therefore, the cut portion can be easily opened, and the electric wire can be easily stored without applying an excessive force.
[0007]
In the invention of claim 3, the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder are corrugated tubes,
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the locking protrusion is divided into a plurality of parts.
In the invention of claim 3, since the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder member is made together with the corrugated tube, an accommodation to the wire harness is bent in the desired direction can be arranged fixed, further in the fourth aspect of the present invention Thus, the above-described bending operation is further facilitated by dividing and forming the locking protrusions.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An example of the embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 1A is a perspective view of a separated state of an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG.
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an inner cylinder having a circular cross section for accommodating an electric wire 3, and 2 denotes an outer cylinder for accommodating an inner cylinder 1, both of which are made of a flexible material such as polyvinyl chloride or polyethylene. Yes.
[0009]
The inner cylindrical body 1 is formed with a locking ridge 1a having a T-shaped cross section projecting outward along the longitudinal direction on one side of the peripheral wall and facing the locking ridge 1a on the other side. A slit 1b is provided along the longitudinal direction.
Further, the outer cylindrical body 2 is provided with a slit 2a in the longitudinal direction that engages with the locking protrusion 1a.
[0010]
In the said structure, in order to accommodate an electric wire in a protector, the cut 1b of the inner cylinder 1 is opened first, and the electric wire 3 is accommodated. Thereafter, the slit 2a of the outer cylinder 2 is opened, and the inner cylinder 1 is covered from the opposite side of the locking ridge 1a, or the outer cylinder 2 is removed while sliding the slit 2a on the locking ridge 1a. By inserting, the inner cylinder 1 is accommodated in the outer cylinder 2.
[0011]
Even if the protector is bent, the outer cylindrical body 2 is locked by the locking protrusion 1a provided on the inner cylindrical body 1 so that the inner cylindrical body 1 is released. Moreover, since the cut 1b of the inner cylinder 1 is covered with the outer cylinder 2 from the outside, the electric wire 3 is not discharged.
[0012]
FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, where (A) is a cross-sectional view of the inner cylinder, and (B) and (C) are cross-sectional views of mounting when the wire bundle is thick and thin. It is.
In the second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2 (A), the thickness of the cylindrical portion of the inner cylindrical body 1 'is formed thinner toward the cut 1b. Also, a plurality of types such as those having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the inner cylinder 1 ', a smaller one, and the same are prepared.
In the protector thus configured, the wire bundle is accommodated in the inner cylinder 1 ′ by the method described above, and then the inner cylinder is formed in the outer cylinder 2 having a diameter corresponding to the diameter of the inner cylinder 1 ′ containing the wire bundle. The body 1 is stored.
[0013]
FIG. 2B shows a case where the bundle of electric wires is thick. In this case, the cut 1b of the inner cylinder 1 ′ is greatly expanded, but the outer cylinder 2 ′ commensurate with the outer diameter of the electric wire It will not be released.
[0014]
When the wire bundle is thin, as shown in FIG. 2 (C), both side edges of the cut 1b of the inner cylinder 1 'are overlapped and stored in the outer cylinder 2''having a small diameter. The
[0015]
In this way, the thickness of the inner cylinder 1 ′ is reduced toward the cut 1b, and the outer cylinder 2 is prepared with various diameters so that the protector has a thickness suitable for the wire bundle. In this case, the inner cylinder can be used in common, and the cost can be reduced.
[0016]
The above describes the case where the inner cylinder 1 and the outer cylinder 2 are formed of a normal cylindrical straight pipe. However, the corrugated tube can be freely bent so that the wire harness can be freely bent according to the internal structure of the vehicle. In this case, it is preferable that the locking protrusions 1a of the inner cylindrical body 1 are provided with cuts at appropriate intervals and divided into a plurality of locking protrusions 1a.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects can be obtained.
A slit is provided in the longitudinal direction of the inner cylinder, a locking ridge projecting outward is provided opposite to the slit, and the slit provided in the longitudinal direction of the outer cylinder is widened to the inner cylinder. Since the outer packaging is used, the structure is simple and the electric wire can be accommodated easily (claim 1).
Since the thickness of the inner cylindrical body is made thinner toward the cutting, the cutting portion can be easily opened, and the electric wire can be easily stored without applying an excessive force (claim) Item 2).
In addition, we prepared multiple types of outer cylinders with different inner diameters and used outer cylinders with diameters that matched the thickness of the wire bundle, so the inner cylinder was shared for various wire harnesses. And cost reduction can be achieved (claim 3).
Furthermore, by using both the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder as a corrugated tube, the accommodated wire harness can be bent and fixed in a desired direction (Claim 4), and the locking protrusion is divided and formed. Thus, the bending operation can be further facilitated (claim 5).
[Brief description of the drawings]
FIG. 1A is a perspective view of a separated state of an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 1B is a side view of the state of use.
2A is a cross-sectional view of an inner cylindrical body of a second embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 2B and 2C are cross-sectional views when the wire bundle of the embodiment is thick and thin.
