【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a living body measuring apparatus such as a non-invasive oxygen monitor that measures the blood concentration and oxygenation state of a living body using light transmission and scattering with respect to the living body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
There is known an optical measuring device that irradiates a subject with light such as visible light or near infrared light, detects light transmitted through and scattered within the subject, and measures information in the subject nondestructively. Optical CT and non-invasive oxygen monitors are examples of biological measuring devices in which such a light measuring device is applied to a living body. The spectrum of hemoglobin, a red pigment contained in blood in the living body, differs between oxygen-bound oxyhemoglobin and oxygen-deoxyhemoglobin. A method for quantification has been developed and applied to biological measuring devices such as a non-invasive oxygen monitor.
[0003]
In general, when a substance having specific absorption characteristics with respect to a wavelength such as a dye is present in a living body, the substance can be quantified using the wavelength. However, in the case of living body measurement, various measurement parameters such as a light source, a detector type, or a measurement method are selected depending on the characteristics of the living body and the measurement purpose because of its speciality such as that the measurement target is a light scatterer. Has been developed and used.
[0004]
As the above various measurement parameters, for example, a method for obtaining a change amount from an initial value of oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin using a probe having one measurement end made up of a pair of light transmitter and light receiver, There has been proposed a method for obtaining an absolute value at the time of measurement using a probe having a measurement end made up of a plurality of light receiving parts having different arrangement distances. This absolute value measurement calculates the absolute amount of oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin at that point based on the local intensity distribution when light diffuses through the subject and then re-emits from each part of the subject. To do.
[0005]
In living body detection measurement, since a living body is a measurement object, as described above, various measurement parameters such as the light source, the type of detector, and the measurement method vary depending on the characteristics of the living body and the purpose of measurement, and the probe is attached to the living body. Also depends on the measurement parameter. For example, the number of light receiving portions required for one measurement end differs depending on whether the measurement purpose is a change amount or an absolute amount, and the probe used corresponding to this varies. Further, even if the absolute value measuring probe having a measuring end having two light receiving portions is used, the distance between the light transmitting portion and each light receiving portion is different between the newborn and the adult, and the probes to be used are also different. Also, the calculation formula for obtaining the target amount from the processing of the obtained detection signal is different.
[0006]
As described above, it is problematic in terms of efficiency and ease of use to individually configure a biological measurement apparatus for different measurement parameters and probes corresponding to the measurement object and measurement purpose. There is a need for a biological measuring device that can be used in common.
[0007]
In addition to the measurement mode for measuring the absolute value at one place of the living body, the measurement mode for simultaneously measuring the amount of change at a plurality of places of the living body is also important in measuring the living body. Constructing a biometric measurement device individually for each of these various measurement modes has the same problems as the measurement parameters and probes described above in terms of efficiency and usability, and is common to the various measurement modes. There is a need for a biometric device that can be used in the future.
[0008]
Accordingly, the first object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems and provide a biological measurement apparatus that can be used in common for different measurement parameters and probes corresponding to the measurement object and measurement purpose. A living body that can use a probe having a measuring end for measuring one absolute value and a probe having a plurality of measuring ends that can measure a plurality of locations at the same time by using a common body. A second object is to provide a measuring device.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first invention of the present application is a common connection terminal for connecting a plurality of types of probes having different measurement parameters in a biological measurement apparatus that performs optical measurement of a living body by transmitting and receiving light to and from a living body using a probe. And storage means for storing measurement parameters of a plurality of types of probes, and performs biological measurement using measurement parameters corresponding to the probes connected to the connection terminals.
[0010]
According to the first invention, a probe having a measurement end suitable for a measurement object and a measurement purpose is selected from a plurality of types of probes, and the connection end of the selected probe is connected to the connection terminal of the biological measurement apparatus. To do. By making the connection terminal of the biological measurement device common to a plurality of types of probes, the biological measurement device is shared. In addition, the biological measurement apparatus reads out and sets measurement parameters corresponding to the connected probe from the storage means, and further performs signal processing on the detection signal obtained from the probe with the measurement parameter to perform a desired biological measurement.
As a result, the biometric device is commonly used for different measurement parameters and probes corresponding to the measurement target and measurement purpose without configuring the biometric device individually for the measurement target and measurement purpose. The first object can be achieved.
[0011]
In the embodiment of the first invention of this application, the number of probes connected to the connection terminal, the measurement purpose of absolute value measurement or change amount measurement, and the distance between the light transmitting and receiving parts at the measurement end are used as measurement parameters. One of the calculation formulas provided in the apparatus corresponding to the measurement purpose is selected in advance according to these measurement parameters, and a biological measurement value can be obtained from the calculation formula and the detection signal.
[0012]
In another embodiment of the first invention of the present application, the biological measurement apparatus includes a probe identification mechanism that identifies the type of probe, and the probe identification mechanism is obtained by connecting a probe to a connection terminal. Based on the probe identification signal, the measurement parameter corresponding to the probe is read from the storage means. The measurement parameter obtained in this way is set in the signal processing means, and biological measurement is performed.
[0013]
Another embodiment of the first invention of the present application is an identification resistor, an identification ROM, or an identification marker for a probe in order to specify the type of the probe, and can be identified by a probe identification mechanism.
[0014]
Further, the second invention of the present application is a living body measuring apparatus that performs optical measurement of a living body by transmitting and receiving light to and from a living body using a probe, and has different measurement modes such as a variation type and an absolute value type. , Equipped with a common connection terminal that can connect probes having different numbers of measurement ends, and the connection terminal on the main body side performs biological measurement in which signal processing is performed using a common measurement channel, and the number of measurement ends and A connection terminal having a plurality of types of probes having different numbers of light receiving portions included in each measurement end, and a signal processing channel having at least the number of channels obtained by integrating the number of measurement ends of the probes and the number of light receiving portions. And a signal processing circuit for processing a signal from the signal processing channel. The signal processing channel receives the measurement signal from the probe connected to the connection terminal, the measurement end and the light receiving unit. Regardless combination of the number of, and transmitted to the signal processing circuit with a common channel, and performs biometric.
[0015]
According to the second invention, hardware resources as a plurality of signal processing channels provided on the main body side of the biometric apparatus are used for processing signals of a plurality of light receiving units at one measurement end in an absolute value mode probe. On the other hand, in the change amount measurement mode, efficient use of signal processing channel resources can be achieved by using each of them for a plurality of signal processing from a plurality of measurement ends provided with one light receiving unit.
As a result, it is possible to maintain a common signal processing channel for various measurement modes, such as an absolute value measurement mode and a simultaneous measurement mode at a plurality of locations, without configuring a biological measurement device individually for different measurement modes. The second object of effectively using the measurement device in common can be achieved.
