Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a moving document type image reading apparatus, and more particularly to an image forming apparatus that can easily change the optical path length while exchanging lenses according to the size of the document.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a scanner device that is equipped with a facsimile machine or a copying machine and reads an image of a document, a flat bed scanner device that reads an image while moving the scanning device by setting the document on a flat platen (FBS) is often used. As a small scanner device, it is known to use a scanner device (ADF) of a type in which an image is read by a scanning device arranged at a fixed position while moving a document. In the document movement type scanner device (ADF), the light scanned on the screen of the document is reflected through a plurality of mirrors, and then imaged on a photoelectric conversion element such as a CCD by a lens and output as an electrical signal. doing.
[0003]
In the ADF, since the optical path length between the original and the CCD is set in correspondence with the maximum read width of the original, for example, when the vertical feed of an A4 size original is set to the maximum read width. In comparison, in the case of a B4 size document, the optical path length needs to be long. In addition, lenses having different lens diameters and thicknesses corresponding to conditions such as the maximum document reading width and lens brightness are used. For example, reading dots in a CCD such as 200 dpi and 400 dpi are used. A lens corresponding to a condition such as a difference in number is used. In general scanners, a dedicated scanner is manufactured by designing the frame and mirror arrangement intervals of the scanning device, the lens diameter, and the like according to conditions such as the maximum reading width of the original.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in the conventional scanner device, a dedicated frame is manufactured according to the conditions corresponding to the size of the document. Therefore, every time the type of document that can be read is changed, a new entire device is created. Is required to design. In addition, when the type of lens used for one apparatus is to be changed, the design of the lens frame arranged in the scanning apparatus is changed, so that a new frame design is required. The problem was occurring. Therefore, a conventional dedicated machine that supports a document of a specific size cannot use a common frame for a plurality of types of apparatuses, and thus becomes an obstacle to reducing the manufacturing cost of the apparatus. There are many problems with management.
[0005]
The present invention solves the problems of the conventional scanner as described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide an apparatus that can easily incorporate lenses of different specifications using one kind of frame.
[0006]
