Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement of a document crimping plate opening / closing device with a lift function that is used in a copying machine, a printing machine, and the like, and is particularly suitable for crimping a thick document.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An example of this kind of document pressing plate opening / closing device is disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-82649. As shown in FIG. 5, the original pressure plate opening / closing device is provided with a mounting member 5 attached to a main body 1 of a copying machine or the like, and one end of each side of the mounting member 5 is rotatable via hinge pins 6. The support member 7 is pivotally connected to the support member 7, and overlaps the upper side of the support member 7 and is pivotally connected to the other end portion of the support member 7 via a support pin 30. A lift member 11 attached to the moving base end side and a pivot connecting side of the lift member 11 with respect to the support member 7 and attached between both side plates at a position where the support pin 30 turns around the fulcrum when the lift member 11 rotates. The supporting member 7 is urged in the opening direction of the original cover 2 between the actuating pin member 31 and a position different from the pivot connecting position of the actuating pin member 31 and the supporting member 7 on the mounting member 5 side. , And the lift part to which the original cover 2 is attached 11 is constituted by a compression coil spring 24 elastically provided so as to be biased and held in a direction overlapping with the support member 7, and when the lift member 11 rotates on both side plates of the support member 7 with the support pins 30 as fulcrums. In addition, a notch 32 that allows the operation pin member 31 to turn is provided.
[0003]
In this case, even if the original cover 2 is opened and the hand is released, the lift member 11 is pressed in the direction overlapping the support member 7 by the elasticity of the compression coil spring 24, so that the original cover 2 is opened. The document holding plate 2 in an open state can be maintained stably without being inverted. The pressing force applied to the lift member 11 by the compression coil spring 24 is maintained without inverting the original pressure-bonding plate 2 even when the original pressure-bonding plate 2 is pushed down by hand, but the original is a thick original such as a book. In this case, when a force in the closing direction is applied when a part of the original cover 2 comes into contact with the thick original P, the operating pin member 31 presses the compression coil spring 24, and the elasticity of the compression coil spring 24 is increased. In contrast, the lift member 11 is reversed around the support pin 30 in the direction indicated by the arrow B, and the thick document P can be covered substantially in parallel with the document pressing plate 2.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the document crimping plate opening / closing device having the above configuration, the lift member 11 is lifted by reversing around the support pin 30 in the direction of arrow B when the thick document P is crimped. Causes a phenomenon in which the thick original P is dragged in the direction of the rotation proximal end of the original crimping plate 2 (in the direction indicated by the arrow A) while pressing the thick original P against the apparatus body 1. Cause misalignment. As the reversal angle of the lift member 11 increases, the drag phenomenon of the thick original P in the direction of arrow A becomes more prominent. At this time, if the projection 33 is provided at a predetermined position on the apparatus main body 1, the projection 33 restricts the dragging of the document P in the direction of the arrow A. In this case, the thick document P There arises a problem that the back cover Q is easily damaged due to friction with the original cover 2.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to solve such a problem, and by dragging a thick document by making the reversing angle of the lift member at the time of pressure bonding of the thick document as small as possible, An object of the present invention is to provide a manuscript crimping plate opening / closing device capable of suppressing the positional deviation of copying and preventing damage to the spine of a thick manuscript.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, the present invention includes an attachment member 5 attached to the apparatus main body 1, and one end of the rotation base end side of the attachment member 5 in the vertical direction via a hinge pin 6. A support member 7 pivotally connected to be freely pivotable, and two upper and lower two members that overlap with the upper side of the support member 7 and have the rotation base end side parallel to each other at the other end portion of the support member 7. A lift member 11 that is pivotally connected to be pivotable in the vertical direction via the first support pin 9 and the second support pin 10, and is attached to the rotation base end side of the document crimping plate 2, and the lift member 11 A vertically long vertical groove 19 which is integrally attached to the rotation base end side and through which the first support pin 9 is inserted, and is communicated orthogonally to the lower end of the vertical groove 19 to be the rotation base end side of the lift member 11. And a horizontally long horizontal groove 20 through which the second support pin 10 is inserted. The support member 7 is urged in the opening direction of the original cover 2 between the operation member 8 and a position different from the pivot connection position of the operation member 8 and the support member 7 of the mounting member 5. And a compression coil spring 24 mounted so as to urge the lift member 11 to which the original cover 2 is attached in a direction overlapping the support member 7.
[0007]
In this case, the lift member 11 is provided with both side plates 11b and 11b covering both sides of the support member 7, and the lift member 11 is disposed on the rotation base end side of the both side plates when the lift member 11 is rotated. An opening 21 in which both ends of the first support pin 9 and the second support pin 10 are loosely fitted can be formed so as to allow rotation. The opening 21 may be formed in an L shape including a vertical groove 21 a and a horizontal groove 21 b that are substantially the same as the vertical groove and the horizontal groove of the operating member 8.
[0008]
[Action]
In a normal state in which the original cover 2 is closed in a horizontal position, the first support pin 9 is at the upper end in the vertical groove 19 of the operating member 8, and the second support pin 10 is at the lower end in the vertical groove 19, i.e., horizontal. It is located near one end part of the lift member rotation tip side direction in the groove 20.
[0009]
Even if the original cover 2 is opened and the hand is released from this state, the lift member 11 is pressed in the direction overlapping the support member 7 by the elasticity of the compression coil spring 24, so that the conventional original cover is opened and closed as shown in FIG. As in the case of the apparatus, the original cover 2 can be stably held in an open state, and the open original cover 2 can be maintained without being inverted.
[0010]
The pressing force applied to the lift member 11 by the compression coil spring 24 is maintained without inverting the original pressure-bonding plate 2 even if the original pressure-bonding plate 2 is pushed down by hand when the original pressure-bonding plate 2 is closed. In this case, when a force in the closing direction is applied when a part of the original cover 2 comes into contact with the thick original P, the lift member 11 presses the compression coil spring 24 with the operating member 8, and the elasticity is increased. Accordingly, the first and second support pins 9 and 10 are reversed. When the lift member 11 is reversed, the actuating member 8 moves upward so that the vertical groove 19 slides above the first support pin 9, and at the same time, the horizontal groove 20 moves from the second support pin 10 to the rotation tip of the lift member 11. It reverses while drawing an elliptical orbit by combining with horizontal movement that slides to the side. Due to the reversal of the lift member 11, the original pressure plate 2 is lifted up on the rotation base end side thereof and becomes substantially parallel to the thick original P, and the entire thick original is pressed onto the apparatus main body with a uniform pressure distribution. Will do.
[0011]
As described above, when the lift member 11 is reversed, the vertical groove 19 of the operating member 8 moves upward along the first support pin 9, so that the lift member 11 is reversed to a height corresponding to the thickness of the thick original P. The rotation angle required for the vertical movement of the vertical groove 19 of the actuating member 8 moves up along the first support pin 9 as compared with the reversal angle of the lift member required in the case of the conventional document pressure plate opening / closing device shown in FIG. That's enough for the minute. Thus, since the reversal angle of the lift member is small, it is possible to suppress dragging of the thick original P in the direction of arrow A as much as possible, and damage to the spine Q can be prevented.

FIG. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the document crimping plate opening / closing device of FIG. 1. FIG.
[0013]
In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an apparatus main body such as a copying machine, 2 an original pressure plate, and 3 an original pressure plate opening / closing apparatus in which the original pressure plate 2 is attached to the apparatus main body 1 so as to be freely opened and closed in the vertical direction.
[0014]
The document crimping plate opening / closing device 3 is pivotally supported by an attachment member 5 attached to the apparatus main body 1 with a screw 4 and the like, and a pivot base end side of the attachment member 5 is rotatable up and down via a hinge pin 6. The upper and lower first and second support pins 9 and 10, which are connected to the support member 7, and have one end on the rotation base end side parallel to the operation member 8, are arranged on the rotation tip end side of the support member 7. And a lift member 11 which is pivotally connected in a vertically rotatable manner and is attached to the rotation base end side of the original cover 2 with a screw or the like (not shown).
[0015]
As shown in FIG. 4, the mounting member 5 has a substantially groove-shaped cross section having a metal bottom plate 5a attached to the apparatus body 1 with screws 4 and the like, and both side plates 5b and 5b raised from both ends of the bottom plate 5a. The hinge pin pivot holes 12, 12 are provided on the upper end sides of the side plates 5b, 5b. Further, stopper pin support holes 13 and 13 are provided at positions of the both side plates 5b and 5b that are offset below the hinge pin pivot holes 12 and 12 and toward the rotational tip side of the document pressing plate 2. .
[0016]
As shown in FIG. 4, the support member 7 includes a metal upper plate 7a, both side plates 7b and 7b bent downward from both side ends of the upper plate 7a, and inward from the both side plates 7b and 7b. It is formed in a groove shape with a cross-sectional lip having lips 7c and 7c bent in parallel with the upper plate 7a, and provided with hinge pin pivot support holes 14 and 14 at one end on the rotating base end side of both side plates 7b and 7b, First and second support pin pivot support holes 15 and 16 are provided at the other end of the both side plates 7b and 7b on the rotating front end side. The support member 7 is mounted by inserting the hinge pin 6 into the pivot holes 14 and 12 by aligning the hinge pin pivot holes 14 and 14 of the side plates 7b and 7b with the hinge pin pivot holes 12 and 12 of the mounting member 5. The member 5 is pivotally connected around the hinge pin 6 so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction. A stopper pin 17 is inserted and fixed in parallel to the hinge pin 6 in the stopper pin support holes 13 and 13 of the both side plates 5 b and 5 b of the mounting member 5.
[0017]
As shown in FIG. 4, the lift member 11 includes a metal upper plate 11a attached to the rotation base end side of the original crimping plate 2 with a screw or the like (not shown) and bent downward from both ends of the upper plate 11a. As shown in FIG. 1, the actuating member 8 is integrally coupled and fixed by screws 18 or the like between the side plates 11b and 11b on the rotating base end side. The actuating member 8 is formed of a polyacetal-based resin or a polyamide-based resin having excellent wear resistance, and is vertically connected to a vertically long vertical groove 19 and a lower end of the vertical groove 19 to rotate the lift member 11. A horizontally long horizontal groove 20 extending horizontally in the direction of the moving base end is provided.
[0018]
As shown in FIG. 1, with respect to the support member 7, the lift member 11 has an upper plate 11 a on the upper side of the upper plate 7 a of the support member 7, and both side plates 11 b and 11 b on the outside of the both side plates 7 b and 7 b of the support member 7. The operation member 8 is overlapped with each other so that the operation member 8 fits between the both side plates 7b, 7b on the rotation front end side of the support member 7 and the rotation front end portion faces the rotation base end side of the original cover 2. By inserting the first support pin 9 into the matching first support pin pivot hole 15 and the vertical groove 19, and the second support pin 10 through the second support pin pivot hole 16 and the horizontal groove 20, the support member 7. The first and second support pins 9 and 10 are pivotally connected to the front end of the rotation so as to be rotatable in the vertical direction.
[0019]
As shown in FIG. 4, the first support pin 9 and the second support pin are provided on the rotation base end side of the both side plates 11 b, 11 b of the lift member 11 to allow the lift member 11 to rotate when the lift member 11 rotates. Openings 21 and 21 into which both ends of 10 are loosely fitted are formed. Therefore, the lift member 11 can be provided with the reinforcing side plates 11b and 11b without hindering the rotation of the lift member 11 by the first and second support pins 9 and 10, and the strength can be ensured. At that time, if the opening 21 is formed in an L shape composed of the vertical groove 21a and the horizontal groove 21b substantially the same as the vertical groove 19 and the horizontal groove 20 of the actuating member 8, the opening area to the side plates 11b and 11b is made as much as possible. Therefore, it is more advantageous in securing reinforcement by the side plates 11b and 11b of the lift member 11.
[0020]
As shown in FIG. 1, on the lips 7c, 7c between the side plates 7b, 7b of the support member 7, a pair of cylindrical first and second molded parts made of polyacetal resin or polyamide resin having excellent wear resistance is provided. 2 Sliders 22 and 23 are slidably fitted in the rotational radius direction of the original cover 2. A compression coil spring 24 is interposed between the sliders 22 and 23 in the support member 7 to urge the lift member 11 attached with the original cover 2 in a direction overlapping the support member 7. The compression coil spring 24 is mounted between the stopper pin 17 and the actuating member 8 through the first and second sliders 22 and 23 in the support member 7.
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 1, a cam portion 25 that contacts the stopper pin 17 is formed on the back surface of the first slider 22. The cam portion 25 is formed to have a vertical surface 25a and an inclined surface 25b provided below the vertical surface 25a. As shown in FIG. 1, in the state where the original cover 2 is fully closed in a horizontal position, the stopper pin 17 is in contact with the vertical surface 25a of the cam portion 25 of the first slider 22, and this vertical surface 25a is from the inclined surface 25b. Since the support member 7 is also positioned on the axial center side of the stopper pin 17, the support member 7 rotates and biases the document pressing plate 2 in the closing direction via the cam portion 25 and the compression coil spring 24. When the document pressing plate 2 is opened from this state, the support member 7 is rotated together with the lift member 11 around the hinge pin 6 to be opened together. At that time, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the stopper pin 17 slides on the slope 25 b of the cam portion 25 which gradually becomes farther from the axis of the stopper pin 17, and the first slider 22 is moved to the stopper pin 17 by the compression coil spring 24. The compression coil spring 24 is slightly extended by being pushed and slid in the approaching direction.
[0022]
Next, the operation of the document crimping plate opening / closing device having the above configuration will be described.
FIG. 1 shows a state where the original cover 2 is fully closed in a horizontal position. In this state, the compression coil spring 24 is in a compressed state, the first support pin 9 is at the upper end in the vertical groove 19, and the second support pin 10 is the lower end in the vertical groove 20, that is, the lift in the horizontal groove 20. Each member is located near one end in the direction of rotation of the member.
[0023]
Now, when a thin original such as paper is pressed, the original pressing plate 2 is reversed over the entire opening / closing operation by the elasticity of the compression coil spring 24 interposed between the lift member 11 and the mounting member 5. The stopper pin 17 is stably operated at a predetermined opening angle by the elasticity of the compression coil spring 24 acting on the support member 7 via the lift member 11 and the slider 22 that contacts the inclined surface 25b of the cam portion 26 with the stopper pin 17. Holds stopped.
[0024]
As shown in FIG. 2, when the document P is a thick document such as a book, the document crimping plate 2 is closed and a part of the document P is applied to the thick document P. When strongly pressed downward, the lift member 11 presses the compression coil spring 24 via the slider 23 with the actuating member 8 and reverses in the direction of arrow B around the first and second support pins 9 and 10 against the elasticity. Then, the original pressure plate 2 is lifted up at the rotation base end side and becomes parallel to the upper part of the thick original P, and the entire thick original P is pressed onto the apparatus main body 1 with equal pressure.
[0025]
When the lift member 11 reverses around the first and second support pins 9 and 10, the actuating member 8 together with the lift member 11 moves upward and slides the vertical groove 19 above the first support pin 9 (in the direction of the arrow Y). At the same time, the horizontal groove 20 is reversed while drawing an elliptical orbit by a combination of horizontal movement in which the horizontal support 20 slides from the second support pin 10 in the direction X of the rotation tip of the lift member 11. When a thick original P ′ thicker than the thick original P shown in FIG. 2 is pressed, the vertical groove 19 of the actuating member 8 is more than the first support pin 9 when the lift member 11 is reversed, as shown in FIG. Further, it moves upward in the Y direction, and the horizontal groove 20 moves further horizontally in the direction X of the lift member rotation tip side than the second support pin 10.
[0026]
Thus, when the lift member 11 is reversed and lifted to a height corresponding to the thickness of the thick originals P and P ′, the vertical groove 19 of the operating member 8 along with the lift member 11 extends along the first support pins 9. Since it moves upward, the angle of reversal of the lift member 11 can be reduced by this upward movement. Since the reversing angle of the lift member 11 is small, it is possible for the original cover 2 to drag the thick original P or P ′ in the direction A of the rotation base end as much as possible. Can be suppressed. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the copy position from being displaced and to prevent the back cover Q from being damaged when there is the drag preventing projection 33.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, when the thick original is crimped, the reversing angle of the lift member is made as small as possible, so that dragging of the thick original and copying misalignment can be suppressed, and damage to the back cover can be prevented. It is advantageous to prevent.
