前記課題を解決する本発明は、一方のロッドに取り付けるロッド受け部を一端に有し、かつ調整のために切断可能な軸状部分をロッド受け部以外の箇所に有する第1部材と、他の一方のロッドに取り付けるロッド受け部を一端に有し、上記軸状部分を隙き間なく差し込める空所を持ち、この空所内で軸状部分を抜き差しする延伸部分を有する第2部材と、上記空所に差し込んだ軸状部分を締め付けて固定するねじ手段とを具備し、ロッド対の間隔調整のために、軸状部分を適当な長さに切断の上、上記空所に差し込みねじ手段により固定可能とし、ロッド受け部はほぼC字型の断面形状を有するとともに、ロッド受け部の後方に軸状部分が延びるものとし、その底面はロッド受け部の先端よりも下方に位置してロッドを引っ掛けるように保持可能とし、ロッドと第1部材又は第2部材のねじ止め部、及び第1、第2両部材のねじ止め手段の各めねじ部は肥大部形成するという手段を講じたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明に係るロッド対の間隔調整装置は、複数のインプラント列に取り付けられたロッド対の間隔調整のための装置である。インプラントは例えば椎体等脊柱構成体に植設され、それらの配列を所望の状態に保つためにロッドに結合され、また本装置でロッド間隔が調整される。
