近年、電子機器等には、その機能を操作するために多種多様な操作釦が使われている。操作釦は通常、電子機器等のフロントパネルに取付けられ、プリント基板にハンダ付けされたタクトスイッチに操作力を伝える。操作釦は意匠、電子機器の機能に依る釦形状の相違から、多種類にわたる操作釦が開発されていた。

以下、従来の操作釦について図面を参照しながら説明する。
図4は従来の操作釦の平面図であり、図3は従来の操作釦及びその関連部分のB−B線の断面図である。

図3および図4において、5は電子機器の操作部が設けられているフロントパネルである。1はフロントパネル5の裏面に対向して設けられたプリント基板である。2はプリント基板1に実装されたLED、3はプリント基板1に実装されたタクトスイッチである。4はプリント基板1に圧入されたLEDホルダ−である。6はポリプロピレンで成形された操作釦である。操作釦6は、その表面に釦の機能が印刷された釦部6aと、薄肉に形成された可撓性のヒンジ部6bと、フロントパネルの突起部に挿入して操作釦をフロントパネル5に取り付ける取付部6cと、その先端部がプリント基板1に当接して操作釦の抜けを防止する抜け止め6dと、タクトスイッチ3を押すスイッチ作動部6fとを有している。

次に、動作を説明する。
図3に示すように、釦部6aとヒンジ部6bとが一体成形で作られた操作釦6を、フロントパネル5に固定し、釦部6aを矢印Aの方向に押すと、その押圧力に依ってスイッチ作動部6fはタクトスイッチ3を押す。タクトスイッチ3が押されたことが認識されると、LED2が光る。LEDホルダ−4はこの光を集光する為のものであり、釦部6aはこれらの光を透過および拡散する役目を果たす。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、このような操作釦が使用される電子機器は非常に種類が多い。そのため、それに必要な操作釦も多種類の形状のものが必要となって来る。しかし、上記のような構成の操作釦では、釦部とヒンジ部とを一体成形としている為、多種類の釦部形状を満足させる為には、多種類の操作釦を開発しなければならい。また、後で開発される他の電子機器との間で操作釦を共用することができなかった。

また上記従来例の操作釦は、ヒンジ部にクラックの発生しにくい材料、すなわち剪断弾性の優れた材料であるポリプロピレンで一体成形されているため、釦部への印刷の密着性が悪くなるという問題があった。また、印刷密着性が良いアクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン樹脂(ABS)で一体成形した場合は、ヒンジ部にクラックが発生し易くなるという問題があった。

本発明は上記問題点を解決するもので、釦部とヒンジ部とを分割し、各々に最適な材料を使用することにより、剪断弾性を犠牲にすることなく、釦への印刷の密着性を良くした操作釦を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は上記目的を達成するために、光透過性を有すると共にその表面に印刷を設けた釦部と、この釦部を嵌合可能な釦嵌合部および薄肉に形成されたヒンジ部を有する釦枠部とを備えたものである。

本発明は上記した構成において、釦部は釦枠部よりも印刷密着性の優れた樹脂にて成形すると共に、前記釦枠部は前記釦部よりも剪断弾性の優れた樹脂にて成形することにより、印刷密着性とヒンジ部の強度とを両立させると共に、今後展開される機種に対して、釦部のみ新規に開発することで対応可能となる。

以下、本発明の一実施例について図面を参照しながら説明する。

図2は本発明の一実施例における操作釦の平面図であり、図1は同操作釦およびその関連部分のB−B線の断面図である。図1および図2において、図3および図4と対応する部分には同じ符号を使用している。

図1および図2に示す本実施例が図3および図4に示す従来例と異なるところは、操作釦6が釦部6aと釦部以外の部分である釦枠部とに分割可能となっており、釦部6aは光透過性を有すると共に印刷密着性に優れたアクリロニトリル・ブタジエン・スチレン樹脂(ABS)に光拡散剤を混合した材料で成形され、釦枠部は剪断弾性の優れたポリプロピレンで成形されていることである。

図1および図2に示すように、前記釦枠部は、釦部6aが嵌合可能な窓を有し、この窓の周辺には釦部6aを掛止するための爪部6eを設けている。そして、ヒンジ部6b、取付部6c、抜け止め6dおよびスイッチ作動部6fは前記釦枠部に含まれる。

以上の説明から明らかな様に本発明は、釦部と釦枠部とを分割し、釦部は釦枠部よりも印刷密着性の優れた樹脂にて成形すると共に、前記釦枠部は前記釦部よりも剪断弾性の優れた樹脂にて成形することにより、釦枠部のヒンジ部の強度を保つと共に、釦部への印刷密着性を確保することが出来る。さらに、機種展開の際には、釦部のみを新規に開発することで容易に対応出来るというすぐれた効果を有する。
