この種のテレビターミナルとしては、同軸ケーブルが接続される導電材料から形成されたコネクタ部と、前面が略矩形状に形成されるとともに施工面に固定される取付枠に結合される取付け部を有する器具本体とを備えたものがあった。このコネクタ部の一端側には同軸コネクタであるF型接栓の受け口が設けられ、コネクタ部の他端側には同軸ケーブルが結線される端子部が設けられている。ここで、F型接栓の受け口は器具本体の前面側に露出し、端子部は器具本体の背面側に端子部の中心線が器具本体の短辺側の側面及び前面に対して夫々平行となるようにして配置されていた。
