本発明は、椅子に係り、例えば学習机とともに利用される子供用の椅子として用いられるのに適した椅子に関するものである。

従来から、学習机とともに利用される子供用の椅子として、子供の成長に合わせて座面の高さを調整できるようにした椅子が知られている。

しかしながら、この種の椅子は、座面の高さを調整できるだけで背もたれの高さや座面の奥行きを調整することができないために、座面の高さを変更するのに伴って座り心地が徐々に悪化する場合があると云う不都合を有している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は以上の点に鑑みて、座面の高さのみでなく背もたれの高さや座面の奥行き等を調整することが可能であり、もって座面の高さ位置の如何にかかわらず座り心地の良い椅子を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するため、本発明の請求項1による椅子は、脚部、座面および背もたれを備えた椅子であって、前記座面および背もたれの高さ位置を調整可能であるとともに、前記座面の前後位置を調整可能であり、前記座面の前後位置の調整を、前記座面の前後方向の向きを変えて固定することにより行なうことを特徴とするものである。

上記構成を備えた本発明の請求項1による椅子においては、脚部、座面および背もたれを備えた椅子において、座面および背もたれの高さ位置を調整可能とされるとともに座面の前後位置を調整可能とされているために、子供の成長等に合わせて座面の高さ位置のみでなく、背もたれの高さ位置や座面の奥行きを調整することが可能となる。座面の前後位置の調整に関しては、後記するように座面を着脱自在に支持する座貫に上下方向に貫通する貫通部を設け、座面の下面に複数の雌ネジを座面の前後方向に並べて設け、雄ネジを貫通部に差し通して一の雌ネジにねじ込むことにより座面の前後位置を特定するのが好適であり、この調整手段によれば、座面の前後位置を座面の下面に設ける雌ネジの数に応じて段階的に調整することが可能となる。

つぎに本発明の実施例を図面にしたがって説明する。

当該実施例に係る椅子1は、学習机とともに利用される子供用の椅子として用いられるものであって、図3(A)ないし(D)に示すように、座面(座板とも称する)21を備えた座部11および背もたれ(背部とも称する)12の高さ位置(上下方向位置)を上下四段階に亙って調整可能とされるとともに、座部11における座面21の前後位置(前後方向位置)を前後四段階に亙って調整可能とされている。図3においては、図上左側の(A)が座部11および背もたれ12の高さ位置が最も高くかつ座面21の前後位置が最も前方に位置して座面21の奥行きが最も深く設定された状態を示しており、以下(B)(C)および(D)の順に、座部11および背もたれ12の高さが徐々に低くかつ座面21の前後位置が徐々に後ろに下がって座面21の奥行きが徐々に浅くなるように変更されている。尚、子供の成長に合わせて座部11および背もたれ12の高さ位置ならびに座面21の前後位置を調整するには、上記説明とは反対に図3(D)から(C)(B)および(A)へと調整作業を行なうことになる。図4(A)は図3(A)に対応する斜視図、図4(B)は図3(D)に対応する斜視図である。

当該椅子1は、その主たる構成要素として、脚部2、座部11および背もたれ12を備えており、各部がそれぞれ以下のように構成されている。上記したように座面21は座部11の一部品である。

すなわち先ず、脚部2は、左右一対の脚3,3を備えており、この脚3がそれぞれ、互い固定的に連結された前脚4および後脚5の組み合わせによって形成されている。図3の側面図に示すように、前脚4の上部は後方に湾曲しており、かつ座面21よりも上方に配置されて肘掛け6を兼ねている。前脚4と後脚5の間には脚側貫7が固定的に架設され、左右の前脚4,4同士の間には脚前貫8が固定的に架設され、左右の後脚5,5同士の間には脚後貫9が固定的に架設されている。

座部11および背もたれ12は互いに一体に形成されていて、左右一対の座側13,13を備えており、この座側13がそれぞれ、互いに固定的に連結された下側座側(座側下とも称する)14および上側座側(座側上とも称する)15の組み合わせによって形成されている。下側座側14は座部11の一部を構成し、上側座側15は背もたれ12の一部を構成している。座側13はそれぞれ脚3の直ぐ内側に配置され、後述する連結手段によって脚3に着脱自在に連結されている。左右の下側座側14,14同士の間には前側座貫16および後側座貫17(図7(A)参照)が固定的に架設され、左右の上側座側15,15同士の間には下側背貫18、中央背貫19および上側背貫20が固定的に架設され、また前側座貫16および下側座貫17の上には座面21が後述する連結手段によって着脱自在に載せられている。

下側座側14、前側座貫16、後側座貫17および座面21よりなる座部11ならびに上側座側15、下側背貫18、中央背貫19および上側背貫20よりなる背もたれ12は、以下の連結手段によって脚部2に連結されている。この連結手段は左右対称構造であるため、その一方のみを説明する。

また、図5に示したように、前脚4の内面に設けられる雌ネジ32は四つ設けられており、この四つの雌ネジ32が上下方向に所定の間隔(例えば45mm)をもって並んで設けられている。また図6に示したように、上側座側15に設けられる孔状の貫通部34はこれも四つ設けられており、この四つの貫通部34が雌ネジ32の場合と同じ間隔(例えば45mm)をもって上下方向に並んで設けられている。したがって上記連結作業を行なうときに、一番上の雌ネジ32および貫通部34に対して雄ネジ33,36を用いると、図3(A)および図4(A)に示したように座部11および背もたれ12の高さ位置が最も高く設定され、反対に一番下の雌ネジ32および貫通部34に対して雄ネジ33,36を用いると、図3(D)および図4(B)に示したように座部11および背もたれ12の高さ位置が最も低く設定されることになり、このようにして当該連結手段によれば、座部11および背もたれ部12の高さ位置を雌ネジ32および孔34の形成数に合わせて段階的に調整することが可能とされ、これに伴って座面21の高さ位置も所定の高さ範囲(例えば285〜420mm)において雌ネジ32および孔34の形成数に合わせて段階的に調整することが可能とされている。尚、下側座側14に設けられる貫通部31は、各段における雌ネジ32および貫通部34間の寸法差を吸収し得るよう、図5に示したように前後方向に長い長孔とされている。
