上記目的を達成するために本発明は、ノック部材を押圧することにより芯タンクの前部に設けられたチャックを前進させて芯を繰り出すノック式シャープペンシルにおいて、後部に開口窓を形成した軸筒と、筒部に弾性片を形成し、該弾性片に隆起した係止部を形成したノック部材と、ノック部材の後部に設けられた蓋と、ノック部材を長手方向後方に付勢するリターンスプリングとからなり、ノック部材の係止部を前記軸筒の開口窓に長手方向に適宜の距離摺動可能に係止するとともに、軸筒とノック部材との間にリターンスプリングを張架し、ノック部材の筒部内孔に芯タンクの後部を挿入したことを要旨とする。
従って、ノック部材が長手方向後方への強い引張力を受けても、ノック部材が軸筒で係止され芯タンクは引張力を受けないのでチャックによる芯の食い切りはまったく生じない。
