【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a medical device that has been subjected to immunity countermeasures and a method for immunity countermeasures for medical devices.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, advances in semiconductor technology in electronic devices and the downsizing and high functionality of devices due to digitalization have been remarkable, and accordingly, the use of personal computers and medical devices in connection with medical environments has increased, and various communication terminals The use of equipment in hospitals has arisen, and the EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) problem has become a close-up.
[0003]
Among medical devices, there are a wide range of devices ranging from various testing devices to devices that are directly involved in maintaining life, such as treatment devices, ventilators, and infusion pumps. Risks vary greatly, and specific measures for each device are required.
[0004]
In view of this situation, in the medical device industry, the EMC Directive (Basic Directive 89/336 / EEC) has been issued by the EU since January 1996. It has become to. Further, from June 14, 1998, the Medical Device Directive (Basic Directive 93/42 / EEC) has become mandatory and includes a request for EMC countermeasures. IEC 60601-1-2 (1993) is generally required as an EMC standard for medical devices, and there are cases where MIL / STD is used.
[0005]
In the United States, the Foods And Drugs Administration of the United States requires EMC data to be submitted when applying for pre-sale products. In June 1998, the Japan Medical Devices Association (Japan Medical Association) started EMC compliance of medical electrical equipment for the purpose of preventing malfunction of medical electrical equipment and ensuring patient safety and quality of medical care. The company has started operation of standardization guidelines (guidelines), and each company is requesting voluntary adaptation of products to the standard.
[0006]
In addition, EMC regulations surrounding medical devices extend to countries around the world, both domestically and internationally.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in an actual medical field, a medical device is rarely used alone, and is generally used in combination with other medical devices. For example, the most prominent problem in the medical field is the combined use of an electrocardiograph and an electric knife.
[0008]
During operation, the patient's condition is monitored with an electrocardiograph, but when the patient's living tissue is incised or coagulated with an electric knife, the discharge noise of the electric knife mixes with the electrocardiograph and the waveform cannot be read. There is. This is because the space emitted from the electric knife and conduction noise affect the electrocardiograph, and there are various mixing routes as shown in FIG.
[0009]
FIG. 8 is a diagram for explaining a noise mixing path from the electric knife to the electrocardiograph when the electrocardiograph and the electric knife are used together. 8, 100 is an electrocardiograph, 150 is a patient code of the electrocardiograph, 200 is an electric scalpel control drive device, 250 is an electric scalpel, 300 is an operating table, and 400 is a surgical patient.
[0010]
In FIG. 8, (1) indicates the wraparound from the power supply line and is the most susceptible route. In addition, (2) is conduction noise from the living body, but high frequency noise is conducted through the body surface and affects the electrocardiograph. (3) is mixed into the patient code, and (4) is mixed directly into the device.
[0011]
Among these, the problem particularly in the electrocardiograph EMC countermeasure is from the patient code, and the noise induced in the patient code is suspended in the electrocardiogram waveform, which greatly affects the diagnosis. However, sufficient countermeasures have been difficult in the past, and EMC countermeasures that can provide excellent effects with a simple configuration have been awaited.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, solves the above-described problems, and satisfies the MIL / STD requirements in a medical device, for example, an electrocardiograph, and easily reduces the influence of noise induced in a patient code. An object of the present invention is to provide a medical device and a medical device immunity countermeasure method that can be efficiently removed with a simple configuration. For example, the following configuration is provided as a means for achieving the object.
[0013]
That is, in a medical device having a floating input circuit, a conductive thin plate of a predetermined size is connected to the floating ground of the input circuit, and the conductive thin plate is disposed so as to face the frame ground of the apparatus with an insulating thin piece interposed therebetween. It is characterized by that.
[0014]
For example, the conductive thin plate is formed to be about 150 mm × 60 mm. Alternatively, the medical device is an electrocardiograph, and the input circuit is a patient input circuit that inputs a detection signal from a biological electrode.
[0015]
Further, for example, a choke coil is inserted between the ground input terminal of the commercial AC power supply and the earth line, and a common mode choke coil is inserted into the commercial AC power supply line.
[0016]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an example of an embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. The following description explains the example applied to the electrocardiograph as an example of a medical device. However, the present invention is not limited to an electrocardiograph and can be applied to various medical devices, and is particularly effective for medical devices having a floating input circuit.
[0017]
[First Embodiment]
First, a first embodiment according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing a schematic configuration of an electrocardiograph according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is a diagram for explaining a configuration example of a

From the measurement results shown in FIG. 5, seven resonance points were observed. Among these, at the frequency points of 0 to 4, noise appeared on the electrocardiograph by the above-described measurement by the bulk count method. Each impedance value at these frequency points is derived from the relational expression shown by the following equation (1).

Here, r is [dB] and represents the return loss of the measurement system after 50Ω correction.

Therefore, by eliminating these resonance points, it is possible to improve the noise resistance characteristics of the device, and in consideration of the above points, the configuration of the floating GND shown in FIGS.

In the above description, an example of an electrocardiograph has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to the above example, and it is needless to say that the present invention can be widely applied as a noise countermeasure method in a device having a floating input circuit.
[0039]
In this case, the immunity tolerance level can be grasped to some extent by examining the change in characteristic impedance according to the above-described method. This method has not been used in the past, and by using this method for checking this type of countermeasure, it is possible to search for a countermeasure method or confirm the effect of the countermeasure by a simple method.
[0040]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, a network analyzer is connected between the input circuit of a device having a floating input circuit and the frame GND, and the state of return loss is measured, for example, in the range of 10 KHz to 100 MHz. The characteristic impedance of the substrate can be obtained, and the effect of noise countermeasures in a device having a floating input circuit can be easily confirmed. Therefore, it is possible to easily determine whether or not it is an effective measure.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide an electrocardiograph and an electrocardiograph immunity countermeasure method capable of efficiently removing the influence of noise induced in the patient code with a simple configuration.

Furthermore, a conductive thin plate of a predetermined size is connected to the floating GND of the input circuit of a device having a floating input circuit, and the device is connected to the frame GND of the device with an insulating thin piece interposed therebetween. By performing effective coupling, the noise resistance characteristics of the input circuit can be greatly improved.
