Description

【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a joint for connecting end portions of corrugated pipes in an abutting manner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Synthetic resin corrugated pipes molded from polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon or the like are widely used as drain pipes embedded in golf courses, grounds or underground fields. This corrugated pipe is manufactured as a long pipe, but if it is used as a drain pipe etc. by cutting it to an appropriate length for convenience of transportation etc., the cut ends are connected in a butt shape and buried underground doing.
[0003]
Conventionally, when connecting corrugated pipes, generally, cylindrical joints are used. The end of each corrugated pipe is inserted through the openings at both ends of the joint, and the connection is made by striking inside the joint. ing. At this time, the corrugated tube has an annular or spiral protrusion on the outer peripheral surface in order to maintain the cylindrical shape. Therefore, the end protrusion to be inserted with a locking protrusion inside the joint is engaged. The pipes are connected by connecting them together.
[0004]
The joints used in the past are made of the same kind of synthetic resin material as the corrugated pipe, and the locking projections formed on the inner wall surface of the cylinder are the required length in the circumferential direction according to the protrusions on the circumferential surface of the corrugated pipe. When connecting a corrugated tube, the end of the tube is inserted into the opening of the joint and the protrusion on the outer peripheral surface hits the locking protrusion. By the way, it was further pushed harder, and it was locked and connected by getting over this locking projection.
[0005]
This connection by the joint uses the elasticity of the material to deform the tube of the joint and the corrugated pipe wall, and also to deform each other by deforming the ridge and the locking projection. Nevertheless, it is excellent in that it can be securely connected, and is widely used as a means for connecting corrugated tubes.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, one of the difficulties of this conventional connecting means is that the resistance of the locking projection provided on the inner peripheral surface of the joint at the time of connection work is strong and the corrugated tube end cannot be smoothly inserted.
As described above, the locking protrusions are provided with the necessary rigidity because they are prevented from coming out by hooking the protrusions provided on the peripheral surface of the corrugated tube. The locking projections that are provided with a length in the circumferential direction in order to improve the properties will receive a strong frictional resistance because they are in linear or surface contact with the ridges of the corrugated pipe when engaged, Connection work is difficult.
[0007]
In view of such a point, the present invention has been made in order to eliminate the difficulty in connecting the corrugated pipe. Its main purpose is to improve the locking projections formed inside the joints to smoothly engage the ridges on the corrugated pipe peripheral surface, improve workability, and maintain stable engagement force after connection It is an object of the present invention to provide a corrugated pipe joint in which a connected state can be obtained.
[0008]
In addition, the present invention is excellent in water tightness without requiring the use of an adhesive or the like by aiming the adhesion between the end of the corrugated tube and the inner peripheral surface of the joint through the operation of inserting the end of the corrugated tube into the joint. It is an object of the present invention to provide a corrugated pipe joint that allows easy and reliable connection.
[0009]
[Means for solving problems]
Based on the above-mentioned object, the present invention is provided with a joint-main locking projection formed in a cylindrical shape having a triangular pyramid shape and one apex of the base forming the triangle facing the connection opening of the joint. An annular or spiral ridge provided on the outer peripheral surface of the end portion of the corrugated tube that enters from the connection opening in connection with the connection operation of the corrugated tube extends from the apex of the locking projection along one ridge line of the triangular pyramid. The corrugated structure is designed to get over and engage with the locking projection, and after the engagement, the ridge is hooked on one surface opposite to the apex to prevent easy withdrawal. It is to provide a pipe joint.
[0010]
More specifically, the present invention relates to a triangular pyramid having a cylindrical shape with connecting openings at both ends and a triangular base on the inner peripheral surface of both ends of the connecting portion, with one apex facing the connecting opening. It is an object of the present invention to provide a corrugated pipe joint formed by raising a locking projection having a shape.
[0011]
Further, according to the present invention, the locking protrusion has an isosceles base at the bottom and the apex thereof faces the connection opening, and the two faces of the triangular pyramid facing the apex are gently inclined surfaces so that the surface faces the back of the connecting portion. Another object of the present invention is to provide a corrugated pipe joint characterized in that the other surface is formed into a steeply inclined surface.
[0012]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a corrugated pipe joint characterized in that two locking projections are formed on one circumference so as to face each other across the center line of the main body.
[0013]
Further, according to the present invention, there are two or more virtual circumferences drawn with a required interval in the direction of the center line of the locking projections, and the locking projections on adjacent circumferences are staggered. It is another object of the present invention to provide a corrugated pipe joint characterized by being raised.
[0014]
According to the present invention, the joint main body has a tapered shape in which the inner shape of the connection portion is larger than the substantially outer diameter of the corrugated pipe to which the inner diameter is connected in the connection opening, and gradually decreases from the opening toward the depth direction. An object of the present invention is to provide a corrugated pipe joint characterized by being formed into a shape.
[0015]
A further object of the present invention is to provide a corrugated pipe joint characterized in that a stopper for restricting the insertion depth is provided at a required depth position from the connection opening portion at both end connection portions of the main body.
[0016]
[Operation]
Since the present invention is configured as described above, when the end portion of the corrugated pipe is inserted from the joint-mainly connecting opening, resistance is provided when the protrusion on the outer peripheral surface of the pipe hits the locking projection having a triangular pyramid shape. If it is pushed further against this, the ridge slides up along one ridge line of the locking projection, and gets over the pointed contact with the locking projection. The ridge of the corrugated tube that has been overcome is engaged and secured so that one surface of the ridge contacts the inner surface of the locking projection.
[0017]
The end fitted into the opening of the joint along with the pushing of the end of the corrugated tube is a tapered surface whose inner peripheral surface of the connection portion is reduced in diameter toward the back, so that the outer periphery of the end portion of the connection portion is At the back, it is in contact with the inner peripheral surface and communicates in a watertight manner.
Next, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in further detail and characteristics will be clarified.
[0018]
【Example】
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a joint according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a front view before connecting a corrugated pipe with the joint taken along the line AA of FIG. The joint 1 is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape and is provided with a stopper 2 for reducing the diameter into a V-shaped cross section at the center of the length, and the end portions 4 of the corrugated pipes 3 and 3 connected to both ends with the stopper as a boundary. 4 and 5 are provided.
[0019]
Each of the connection portions 5 and 5 has an outer diameter including an annular protrusion 7 projecting from the outer peripheral surface of the corrugated tubes 3 and 3 with the inner diameters of the connection openings 6 and 6 (which becomes a substantially outer diameter of the corrugated tube). The diameter is gradually reduced from the opening toward the back where the stopper 2 is provided to form a loose tapered surface, and the inner diameter immediately before the stopper 2 is the outer diameter of the corrugated tube. It is formed in the size corresponding to And the latching protrusion 8 which latches the protrusion 7 of an outer peripheral surface at the time of the connection of a corrugated pipe | tube is provided in the inner peripheral surface of the connection part formed in the taper surface.
[0020]
The locking protrusion 8 is a triangular pyramid-shaped protrusion whose bottom is triangular, and here, as shown in FIG. 3, the bottom is shaped like an isosceles triangle and its apex 8a is raised toward the connection opening 6 side. It is. In this embodiment, two locking projections are provided on the same circumference of the inner circumferential surface near the opening 6 so as to face each other across the center line of the joint main body, and further on the inner side of the circumference. Similarly, two locking projections are provided on other circumferences drawn at intervals so as to be provided in two steps inside and outside from the opening side.
[0021]
The locking projections 8 provided in the inner and outer two stages are provided by being shifted by 90 degrees in the circumferential direction around the center line, and an interval suitable for the pitch of the ridges 7 of the corrugated pipe 3 is provided between the inner and outer sides. It is. And each latching protrusion 8 is formed in the magnitude | size which fits in the pitch of the said protrusion 7. FIG.
[0022]
Each locking projection 8 having a triangular pyramid shape has two surfaces 8b and 8b adjacent to the apex 8a facing the opening 6 on the gently inclined surface, and the ridge line 8c between them has a gentle slope, while one surface toward the back. 8d is steeply inclined to stand.
[0023]
The joint main body 1 in this embodiment is manufactured by blow molding of polyethylene as a material, and has a total length of 100 mm, an outer diameter of the connection opening 6 of 65 mm, and a wall thickness of 2 mm. The locking projections 8 formed on the inner peripheral surface of the connecting portion have a height of 5 mm.
The dimensions of the joint main body are naturally made to correspond to the corrugated pipe 3, and in particular, the height of the locking projection 8 is made substantially equal to the height of the ridge 7, and the length in the depth direction is the ridge 7, The length is within a pitch of 7.
[0024]
The joint of the present invention is constructed as described above, and the corrugated tube 3 is connected by inserting the end 4 of the corrugated tube through the connection opening 6 in the same manner as in this type of joint.
The corrugated tube passed through the wide opening 6 receives resistance when the protrusion 7 hits the locking protrusion 8 on the opening side. Is guided along the loose ridge line 8c of the locking protrusion 8, and enters the side of the surface 8d standing over the protrusion 8.
[0025]
The overcoming of the locking projection 8 is accompanied by the deformation of the locking projection 8 and the protrusion 7 due to the elasticity of the material simultaneously with the induction of the loose ridge line 8c. Accordingly, the ridge 7 is locked to the surface 8d of the locking protrusion.
[0026]
In this embodiment, the corrugated tube repeatedly climbs over the locking projections 8 provided in the inner and outer two stages, and the connecting operation is completed by abutting the end 4 with the stopper 2. At this time, the protrusion 7 on the end side is brought into pressure contact with the inner peripheral surface having a reduced diameter, so that the intrusion may be stopped and the work may be completed. This press-contacting closes the gap between the two and gives a sealing effect.
[0027]
By the way, in the said Example, although demonstrated about the case where the two latching protrusions 8 were protrusively provided on the inner periphery of a connection part on the same circumference, it is not restricted to this, Three or four pieces are spaced apart. It does not prevent it from being provided. Needless to say, the locking projections provided in two stages may be provided in three or four stages. In short, the number and arrangement of the locking protrusions 8 are determined by the relationship between the insertion property and the engaging force at the time of connection, and are specifically left to the designer.
[0029]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the locking projection protruding from the inner peripheral surface of the joint of the joint has a triangular pyramid shape, and one apex of the base forming the triangle is provided facing the opening. The corrugated pipe ridge is guided and engaged in a point contact state along one ridge line of the projection, so that the corrugated pipe can be connected very smoothly. Since the engagement is engaged with one surface which stands up, a strong pulling force is generated and a reliable connection state is obtained.
In the present invention, since the inner peripheral surface of the connecting portion is a tapered surface whose diameter decreases toward the back, the end of the corrugated tube contacts the inner peripheral surface at the time of connection, and the gap between the two is automatically closed. Will be able to connect to.
