Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a battery pack used as a battery power source for a device that is required to be thin, such as a portable information device.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Miniaturization of portable devices such as portable information terminals, cellular phones, and portable audio devices has been remarkable, and portability has been improved. However, since mere miniaturization causes a decrease in operability, it is more important to reduce the thickness for improving portability. A simple example is found in notebook personal computers (hereinafter referred to as notebook computers). As laptops become smaller, keyboards and displays become smaller and operability decreases. If it is made thin rather than downsized, it will become a convenient and highly practical notebook computer that can be carried in a bag.
[0003]
As can be seen from the example of this notebook personal computer, thinning is progressing in portable devices in order to improve portability. In order to reduce the thickness of the portable device, it is important to reduce the thickness of the battery pack constituting the power source of the portable device. In order to reduce the thickness of the battery pack, as shown in FIG. 4, a configuration is adopted in which an increase in the thickness of the entire battery pack due to the thickness of the pack case that houses the battery is suppressed.
[0004]
In FIG. 4, an opening 3 is formed in the longitudinal direction of the battery 1 in a portion corresponding to the battery 1 of the pack case 2 that accommodates the cylindrical battery 1, and when the battery 1 is accommodated in the pack case 2, Since part of the circumferential surface of the battery 1 enters the opening 3, the thickness of the entire battery pack can be suppressed. Since the opening 3 is closed by sticking the label 10 on the outer surface of the pack case 2, a state in which the opening 3 does not appear on the appearance is obtained.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The thinning of the battery pack is so severe that the thickness of the label 10 becomes a problem, and the thin label 10 is used. However, since the thin label 10 is easily deformed, when the pressing force is applied to the label 10, as shown in FIG. 5, the label 10 adheres to the battery 1, and the opening 3 and the battery 1 to which the label 10 is not adhered Since the label 10 is deformed in the space between the two, there is a problem that a wavy phenomenon in which the shape of the opening 3 appears on the surface of the label 10 occurs.
[0006]
Further, the label 10 on the opening 3 adheres to the cylindrical surface of the battery 1 when pressed, but when the press is released, the adhesive peels off by the spring back, and abnormal noise is generated at that time. It was.
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to provide a battery pack that eliminates the generation of undulation and abnormal noise of a label attached to a thin battery pack.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention for achieving the above object, a plurality of openings of smaller width than the diameter of the battery pack case housing the battery of a plurality of cylindrical formed respectively in the longitudinal direction of each battery, each battery A battery pack in which a part of the arc surface is accommodated in the pack case so as to enter the opening, and a label coated with an adhesive is attached to the outer surface of the pack case so as to close each opening. there are, in the label adhesive is applied, at a position corresponding to each opening, and characterized by being non-adhesive surface of the pressure-sensitive adhesive is slightly larger area than the area of the opening is not coated is provided Since the non-adhesive surface is provided at a position corresponding to the opening of the label, the label does not stick to the battery through the opening, and the label wavy or Strange noise Occurrence can be prevented.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings for understanding of the present invention. The following embodiment is an example embodying the present invention, and does not limit the technical scope of the present invention.
[0010]
The present embodiment shows a battery pack configured by accommodating six batteries configured as lithium ion secondary batteries in a pack case.
[0011]
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a case lid 2a constituting the pack case 2. A cylindrical shape is provided at a position corresponding to six batteries 1 accommodated in the case body 2b (see FIG. 2). The opening 3 is formed in the longitudinal direction with a width smaller than the diameter of the battery 1. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, since the rounded surfaces 4 corresponding to the arc of the battery 1 are formed on both sides in the width direction of the opening 3, the case body 2b housing the battery 1 is covered with the case lid 2a. When closed, as shown in FIG. 2, a part of the arc surface of the battery 1 enters the rounded surface 4 and the opening 3, so that the accommodation height of the battery 1 in the pack case 2 in the diameter direction is reduced. The battery pack can be made thinner. In the configuration of the present embodiment, the opening 3 is formed only in the case lid 2a. However, if the opening 3 is formed also on the case body 2b side, the battery pack can be made thinner.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 2, the opening 3 is closed by a label 5 attached to the outer surface side of the case lid 2a. FIG. 3 shows the adhesive surface of the label 5, and a non-adhesive surface 6 on which the adhesive 7 is not applied to the label substrate 8 (see FIG. 2) is formed at a position corresponding to the opening 3. As shown in FIG. 2, the area of the non-adhesive surface 6 is formed to be slightly larger than the opening area of the opening 3, so that the non-adhesive surface can be removed from the opening 3 even when a positional shift occurs in the sticking position. 6 does not come off. The label 5 provided with such a non-adhesive surface 6 can be manufactured by screen-printing the adhesive 7 using a screen plate in which a portion that becomes the non-adhesive surface 6 is closed.
[0013]
By applying the label 5 provided with the non-adhesive surface 6 at the position corresponding to the opening 3 as described above, even if the label 5 is formed using a thin material on the label base material 8, pressure is applied. Sometimes, the label 5 does not adhere to the battery 1, and the occurrence of undulation and abnormal noise due to the adhesion to the battery 1 is prevented. Moreover, since the thin label 5 can be used, thickness reduction of a battery pack can be improved more.
[0014]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a part of the arc surface of the battery is inserted into the opening formed in the pack case to reduce the thickness of the battery pack, and the non-adhesive surface is located at a position corresponding to the opening. When sticking the provided label and closing the opening, the label does not stick to the battery when pressed by the non-adhesive surface, preventing the generation of undulation and abnormal noise due to adhesion to the battery Is done. In addition, since a thin label can be used, the battery pack can be thinned.
