この出願の発明は、包丁ラックに関するものである。さらに詳しくは、この出願の発明は、より手近な場所に、しかも安全に、包丁を配置することのできる、新しい包丁ラックに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
調理のために使用する包丁ラックは、刃物として危険であって、安全に保管することが必要であることから、従来は、シンクを備えたキッチンキャビネットの扉の裏側に設けられたホルダーに挿入されて縦置きされることが多い。また、キッチンキャビネットの引出し内に置かれることもある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、これら従来の包丁の保管においては、たとえばキャビネットの扉裏側へのホルダーによる縦置きの場合は、扉の開閉と包丁の取出しおよび収納が面倒であって、しかも多くの場合、包丁の柄だけがホルダー上部に露出しているだけであるため、包丁の刃部の種類が簡単には確認できず、使用する包丁が直ちに取出せないという問題がある。また、取出し時や収納時には、誤って足元に落としやすく危険であるという問題があった。そして、キャビネット内に保管されることから、湿気やカビ等の影響も懸念され、必ずしも衛生的とは言えないのが実情であった。

また、キャビネットの引出し内に保管する場合には、幼児でも取出しやすいという危険性があり、取出し時や収納時には、同様に誤って足元に落としやすく危険であり、引出し内の湿気、カビ等の影響による衛生面にも問題があった。

そこで、この出願の発明は、以上のとおりの従来の問題点を解消し、シンク後方の壁面スペースへの配置が可能で、安全性も高く、衛生面への対応も容易な、新しい包丁ラックを提供することを特徴としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この出願の発明は、上記の課題を解決するものとして、第１には、シンク後方の壁面に配設した横長のレール部材の左右方向の任意位置に係止部を係止させて装着される線材からなるフレーム体に、２丁以上の包丁が上下に並置して横置きされるとともに各包丁が斜めに保持可能とされ、かつ包丁の刃部挿入部の斜め上方に柄部保持部が区分されて設けられているホルダーが着脱自在に係止され、柄部保持部は包丁の柄が保持された状態において、手指が挿入でき、柄が容易に取り出せる程度の大きさを有しており、フレーム体には、開閉自在に蓋が設けられていることを特徴とする包丁ラックを提供する。

【発明の実施の形態】
この出願の発明は、上記のとおりの特徴をもつものであるが、以下、実施例に沿ってこの発明の実施の形態について説明する。

たとえば、この図１および図２に例示したように、この出願の発明の包丁ラックは、線材からなるフレーム体（１）に、２丁以上の包丁が上下に並置して横置き可能とされるとともに各包丁が斜めに保持可能とされているホルダー（２）が着脱自在に係止されている。さらに、図１に示した例では、ホルダー（２）には３丁の包丁が横置きできるようにしているが、このホルダー（２）においては、包丁の刃部挿入部（２Ａ）の斜め上方に柄部保持部（２Ｂ）が区分されて設けられており、柄部を握り、包丁を取出す際に上部または下部に並置された包丁の存在によってじゃまされることも、さらには手指を傷つけることもなく、容易に取出すことができ、また逆に収納も容易である。ホルダー（２）は、刃部挿入部（２Ａ）と柄部保持部（２Ｂ）の横の長さを標準の包丁長さを目安として適宜にすることができ、両者の長さは、包丁のほぼ全長に合わせてもよいし、あるいは、刃部挿入部（２Ａ）は、刃の長さに合わせ、柄部保持部（２Ｂ）は、柄の長さに合わせてもよい。安定性、安全性の上からは、両者は、包丁のほぼ全長に合わせるのが好ましい。

上記のようにホルダー（２）を着脱自在に線材フレーム体（１）に係止する構造としたこの発明の包丁ラックは、包丁を横置き可能としていることから、その高さ幅（Ｈ１）はそれほど大きくなく、従来のキャビネットの扉裏側への縦置きの場合に比べてはるかに小さい。このため、この出願の発明の包丁ラックは、その取付け配置が、より小さな高さ幅の部位においても可能である。

このような特徴から、たとえば図３に示したような、従来ではキッチンスペースとしてほとんどその利用が考慮されてこなかった、窓等の開口部のカウンターや対面式キッチンのカウンター等のカウンター部（３）とキッチンキャビネットのバックガード（４）との間の壁面スペース（５）に対し、この出願の発明の包丁ラックを取付け固定することができる。

従来は、このような壁面スペース（５）は、図４にも示したように、カウンター部（３）とバックガード（４）とによって高さ幅（Ｈ２）が制限されて、しかも狭いために、その利用がほとんど考慮されてこなかった。

しかし、この出願の発明の包丁ラックによれば、高さ幅（Ｈ１）が狭くて包丁の横置きが可能とされていることから、このような壁面スペース（５）が有効に利用されることになる。しかもこの壁面スペース（５）は、図３にも示されているように、キッチンカウンター（６）の後方にあるため、ホルダーから包丁を取り出した場合でも、従来のように、キャビネットの扉（７）の裏面に配置したホルダーや引出し（８）から包丁を取出し、収納する場合のように、誤って足元に落としてしまうという危険性はほとんどない。また、扉（７）の裏面空間や引出し（８）の内部のように湿気やカビ等による影響は少なく、衛生的に優れている。

また、前記のように、従来の場合には、包丁を収納している扉（７）の裏面のホルダーや引出しは洗浄が容易ではない。しかし、この出願の発明の包丁ラックの場合には、ホルダー（２）をフレーム体（１）から取外して洗浄することができる。この点においても、この出願の発明の包丁ラックはより衛生的である。

この出願の発明の上記のとおりの包丁ラックは、たとえば以下のような構造として壁面スペース（５）に取付け固定することができる。
すなわち、この構造においては、図５に例示したように、壁面に配設した横長のレール部材（９）として、上部材（９１）と下部材（９２）、並びにカバー部材（９３）を備えたものとする。上部材（９１）は、断面コ字形で、壁面への固定部（９１Ａ）とこの固定部（９１Ａ）よりも高さ幅の短い前垂れ片部（９１Ｂ）を有し、下部材（９２）は、壁面への固定部（９２Ａ）と表面側に係止部（９２Ｂ）を有している。

なお、上記の取付け構造では、包丁ラックの係止部（１０）を、その上端部において上部材（９１）の前垂れ片部（９１Ｂ）の裏側に当接させ、下端部においてカバー部材（９３）の折り曲げ部（９３Ｃ）と折り曲げ立片部（９３Ｂ）に当接することにより、包丁ラックを簡単にレール部材（９）に係止取付けることができるが、包丁ラックに加わる外部衝撃や地震等によって係止状態がはずれ、棚部材が、レール部材（９）より脱落してしまうことも考えられないではない。そこで、このような脱落を防止するための手段を備えることが有効である。図７は、このような脱落防止手段の一例を示したものである。

包丁ラックそのものについては、さらに以下の実施の形態が考慮される。すなわち、図２にもその関係を示したが、ホルダー（２）は、フレーム体（１）の横幅（Ｗ１）よりもその横幅（Ｗ２）が狭く、フレーム体（１）に対してホルダー（２）が左右横方向にスライド可能とすることである。こうすることによって、収納する包丁の重さの偏りを調整することができ、フレーム体（１）による係止取付けをより安定した状態に保つことが可能となる。また、包丁の柄部の位置を取出し、収納しやすい位置に調整することも可能となる。
