Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a head cover of a fire extinguishing sprinkler head.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The fire extinguishing sprinkler head includes a side wall type sprinkler head installed on the side wall in addition to the one installed on the ceiling. Further, there are cases where a cover is attached to the sprinkler head in preparation for an external force or the like, and many sprinkler head covers are already known (for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 52-1239).
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Since the side wall-type sprinkler head is installed on the side wall, the height position at which the side wall type sprinkler head is attached is lower than that of the sprinkler head installed on the ceiling, and mischief such as catching an object on the frame portion of the head is likely to occur. In spite of such circumstances, there is also a reason that the side wall type sprinkler head has a very small construction demand, and the sprinkler head cover that has been known so far is intended for sprinkler heads installed on the ceiling, There was no sprinkler head cover for the side wall type.
[0004]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to obtain a sprinkler head cover for a side wall type sprinkler head and prevent mischief or the like from being performed on the sprinkler head.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and is a sprinkler head cover that covers a side wall-type fire extinguishing sprinkler head that protrudes from a hole formed in a side wall, and is provided on the side wall or the sprinkler head. A mounting member configured to be attachable and having an insertion opening for the sprinkler head at a central portion; and a cover member that is bonded to the mounting member with a low-melting-point alloy and covers the sprinkler head; and a lower portion of the mounting member In addition, an opening for passing fire-extinguishing water discharged from the side wall-type fire-extinguishing sprinkler head is provided to increase water spray in the lower direction when water is discharged.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiment 1
FIG. 1 is a sectional view of a sprinkler head cover 1 of the present invention. In FIG. 1, S is a sprinkler head having, for example, a glass bulb or a fusible link mechanism as a heat-sensitive operation mechanism, and a hole 3 having a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the head S is formed at a corresponding position of the sprinkler head S on the side wall 2. Provided. Reference numeral 5 denotes a metal mounting member, which includes a disc portion 7 having an opening through which a head S having a diameter larger than that of the hole 3 is inserted in the center, and a cylindrical portion 8 provided on the inner periphery of the disc portion 7. 6 etc. are comprised so that attachment to the side wall 2 is possible.
[0007]
Reference numeral 11 denotes a cover member made of a metal bottomed cylindrical body, which includes a bulging portion 12 that swells laterally in a substantially bowl shape and a cylindrical portion 13 that is provided at the periphery of the bulging portion 12. To cover the sprinkler head S and hide the hole 3 in the side wall 2.
[0008]
The cylindrical portion 8 of the mounting member 5 and the cylindrical portion 13 of the cover member 11 need only be designed to fit each other, and it is not necessary to increase the diameter of the cylindrical portion 13 of the cover member 11 as shown in the figure. Absent. Moreover, the height of the cylinder part 8 and the cylinder part 13 should just be a height which can cover the protrusion amount from the side wall 2 of the sprinkler head S, when both are attached.
[0009]
A solder 15 as a low melting point alloy is provided between the tube portion 8 and the tube portion 13, and the cover member 11 is bonded and fixed to the mounting member 5 by the solder 15. Note that the solder 15 does not need to be bonded to the entire outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 8, and the bonding surface may be provided between the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 8 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 13, for example, at two locations. It is desirable that the melting point of the solder 15 be lower than the operating temperature of the sprinkler head S.
[0010]
Reference numeral 16 denotes a spring biased in a direction in which the cover member 11 is dropped, and is provided between the deflector D of the sprinkler head S and the cover member 11.
[0011]
Since the cover member 11 is fixed to the mounting member 5 by the solder 15, the sprinkler head cover 1 does not fall unless a fire occurs. For this reason, the sprinkler head S can be completely protected from external force in normal times. Further, since the sprinkler head S is not exposed to the outside, it is possible to prevent mischief or the like from being performed on the sprinkler head S.
[0012]
Next, a case where a fire occurs and the sprinkler head cover 1 falls will be described. When a fire occurs and a hot air current is generated, the solder 15 melts. As a result, the fixing of the cover member 11 to the attachment member 5 is released, and the cover member 11 is bounced leftward by the spring 16 and falls downward. In the state where the cover member 11 is dropped, if a thermal airflow is further applied to the sprinkler head S, the glass valve of the sprinkler head S expands and bursts, and as a result, water discharge is started.
[0013]
Embodiment 2
In the sprinkler head cover 1 of the first embodiment, the attachment member 5 may be attached not to the side wall 2 but to the sprinkler head S. Moreover, you may make it attach via the cover fixing member mentioned later, without attaching the cover member 11 to the attachment member 5 directly. An embodiment in this case is shown in FIG.
[0014]
FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the sprinkler head cover 1A, in which the same parts as those in FIG. Reference numeral 5A denotes an attachment member made of, for example, a resin, and includes a cylindrical portion 8A having an inner diameter substantially the same as the flange portion F of the sprinkler head S, and a disc portion 7A formed on the outer periphery of the distal end of the cylindrical portion 8A.
[0015]
For example, a female screw is formed on the inner surface of the cylinder portion 8A, and a male screw is provided on the outer periphery of the flange portion F of the sprinkler head S. The mounting member 5A is attached to the sprinkler head S by the female screw and the male screw. It is done.
[0016]
11A is a metal cover member that covers the sprinkler head S. 11 A of cover members are formed in a substantially hemispherical shape, and the outer diameter is formed so that it may become substantially the same as the outer diameter of the disc part 7A. A substantially rectangular metal cover fixing member 17 is provided between the lower surface (the left side surface in the figure) of the disc portion 7A and the inner surface of the cover member 11A, and the cover member 11A is attached by attaching solder 15 thereto. It is attached to the disc part 7A.
[0017]
Reference numeral 18 denotes a sealing plate, which is formed of a disc portion 19 having a hole into which the cylindrical portion 8A is fitted, and an inclined portion 20 that is expanded from the disc portion 19 toward the outside. The hole 3 between the side walls 2 is hidden.
[0018]
The cover member 11A is attached to the sprinkler head S by first covering the mounting member 5A with the sealing plate 18 from above (right side in the figure), and fitting the disc portion 19 of the sealing plate 18 to the cylindrical portion 8A of the mounting member 5A. Let Then, the cylindrical portion 8A of the attachment member 5A is screwed and attached to the sprinkler head S from the front end side of the head while the state is maintained.
[0019]
Then, one end of the cover fixing member 17 is attached to the inner surface of the cover member 11A by adhering the solder 15, and the spring 16 is inserted into the cover member 11A. Then, the other end of the cover fixing member 17 and the disc portion 7A of the attachment member 5A are attached with an adhesive or the like. When the attachment member 5A is made of metal, solder 15 can be used to connect the disc portion 7A and the cover fixing member 17.
[0020]
Also in this sprinkler head cover 1A, since the cover member 11A is fixed to the mounting member 5A by the solder 15, it does not fall unless a fire occurs. For this reason, the sprinkler head S can be completely protected from an external force in a normal state, and since the sprinkler head S is not exposed to the outside, it is possible to prevent mischief or the like from being performed on the sprinkler head S. Note that the case where a fire occurs and the sprinkler head cover 1A falls is the same as that of the first embodiment, and a description thereof will be omitted.
[0021]
Embodiment 3
In the first and second embodiments, the cylindrical portions 8 and 8A of the attachment members 5 and 5A do not necessarily have a cylindrical shape. You may make it the structure which stands a vertical piece. As described above, the cylindrical portions 8 and 8A are formed of vertical pieces, or the openings are provided at the lower portions of the cylindrical portions 8 and 8A by providing holes or grooves at least at the lower portions of the cylindrical portions 8 and 8A. Desirable in form. This is because when the sprinkler head S is discharged, it is possible to increase the water spray in the lower direction. In addition, when providing lower opening in the cylinder part 8A of Embodiment 2, it is preferable to provide an opening also in the inclination member 20 so that it may correspond to it.
[0022]
In this invention, it is not limited to the above embodiment, For example, the disc parts 7 and 7A should just be a donut shape which has a hole in the center, and the external shape may not be circular. Further, a plurality of small holes may be formed in the cover members 11 and 11A, the attachment members 5 and 5A, and the inclined member 20, so that the hot air can easily enter the cover member, and the operation of the sprinkler head can be accelerated.
[0023]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention is configured as described above, and by providing an opening in the lower portion of the mounting member, when water is discharged from the sprinkler head, the fire-extinguishing water is sprinkled down through the opening, so the sprinkler head Increased water spray distribution. In other words, the mounting member does not become a watering obstacle.
