【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)同士やパイプと他の部材を接続する際のパイプジョイントに関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、各種の現場でパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)同士の接続や、他の部材との接続の際には、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部に螺子部を形成したり、棒状物(バー)の端部にフランジ部等からなる接続部材を溶接する等して棒状物の端部に接合部を形成していた。また、近年、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)を階段や公共の施設等の壁面や固定用の部材等に接続し、種々の場所に棒状物(バ−)からなる手摺り等が設置されている。また、パイプ等の棒状物(バー)からなるタオル掛け等を、壁面に固定された固定部材に取り付ける場合等には、棒状物(バー)の端部にネジ等で取付部材を取り付けて棒状物(バー)を固定部材に取り付けている。
パイプ等の棒状物(バー)からなるタオル掛けを壁面に固定した固定部材に取り付ける際に、パイプ等の棒状物(バー)の端部に取り付ける取付部材として、以下のものが開示されている。
特開平8−154863号公報(以下、イ号公報という)に開示された、壁面と直交する方向の突出部を有し僅かに湾曲し得る本体と、突出部に回転自在に挿着された内周にネジ溝部を有する本体側取付部材と、壁面の任意の複数箇所に固定される、外周面にネジ溝部を設けた円柱部および円柱部の反壁面側に形成した突出部の内周面に係合する係合突起を有する壁側固定部材と、からなるタオル掛け等の取付装置。

しかしながら上記従来の各種現場でのパイプ等の棒状物の接続や手摺りやタオル掛け等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の棒状物(バー)同士の接続や他の部材との接続の際に、棒状物(バー)の端部に形成される螺子部やフランジ部等からなる接合部や棒状物(バー)の端部に取り付けられる取付部材等のパイプジョイントは、以下の課題を有していた。
パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部に螺子部からなる接合部を形成する場合、螺子部の形成が困難で手間がかかるとともに、特に肉圧の薄いパイプや外周面に樹脂を被覆した被覆管からなる棒状物(バー)の場合には棒状物(バー)の外周面に螺子部の形成が困難である。
パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部にフランジ部等からなる接合部を溶接する場合、棒状物(バー)への接合部の取り付け作業に手間がかかり取り付け作業性に欠けるとともに、特に肉圧の薄いパイプや外周面に樹脂を被覆した被覆管からなる棒状物(バー)の場合には溶接時の熱で棒状物(バー)が変形,変質する。
イ号公報に記載のタオル掛け等の取付装置では、タオル掛け等の本体の端部等の突出部に本体側取付部材をボルトで固定して、壁面にボルトで固定された壁側固定部材に本体側取付部材を螺合して本体を固定しているため、本体の端部等の突出部への本体側取付部材の取り付け作業の作業性に欠けるとともに、本体側取付部材の構造も複雑で生産性に欠ける。

本発明は上記従来の課題を解決するもので、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等に加工を加えることなく容易に取り付けることができ、構造が簡単で取り付け作業の作業性に優れるとともに、生産性に優れたパイプジョイントを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記従来の課題を解決するために本発明におけるパイプジョイントは、以下の構成を有している。
本発明の請求項1に記載のパイプジョイントは、円柱や角柱等の柱状に形成されたパイプ嵌合部と、前記パイプ嵌合部の一端部側の端面の略中央に穿設された螺合孔部と、前記螺合孔部の先端部に円錐状や円錐台状に形成された摺動部と、前記パイプ嵌合部の他端部側の端面から前記螺合孔部を中心に分割して2乃至複数の拡開部を形成する1乃至複数のスリットと、前記パイプ嵌合部の一端部側の外周面に螺子状部を形成した雄形接合部と、を有する雄形パイプジョイントと、円柱や角柱等の柱状に形成されたパイプ嵌合部と、前記パイプ嵌合部の一端部側の端面の略中央に穿設された螺合孔部と、前記螺合孔部の先端部に円錐状や円錐台状に形成された摺動部と、前記パイプ嵌合部の他端部側の端面から前記螺合孔部を中心に分割して2乃至複数の拡開部を形成する1乃至複数のスリットと、前記パイプ嵌合部の一端部側の外周径をパイプ等からなる棒状物の外周径と同一径のパイプ状にして内周壁に螺子状部を形成した雌形接合部と、を有する雌形パイプジョイントと、先端側に円錐状や円錐台状に形成された拡大部を有し前記拡大部の底面側に連設された円柱部と、前記円柱部に形成された螺溝部と、前記円柱部の端面に形成されドライバーやレンチと係合する係合部と、を備え、前記雄形パイプジョイント及び前記雌形パイプジョイントの各々の前記螺合孔部に螺合されながら前記拡開部を拡開する拡開固定具と、を備えた構成を有している。
これにより、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部等のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を嵌合して螺合孔部に拡開固定具を螺合し、拡開固定具を回転させて奥に進めることにより、拡開固定具の拡大部や円柱部が螺合孔部の奥の摺動部に挿入され、パイプ嵌合部の拡開部を拡開させてパイプ状取付部の内周壁に拡開部を押しつけて圧接しパイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に固定することができるという作用を有する。
また、パイプ嵌合部の一端部側に雄形又は雌形接合部を有しているため、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部等のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を拡開固定具で固定するだけでパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等に雄形又は雌形接合部を形成できるという作用を有する。更に、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等に該パイプ嵌合部を固定するだけで、棒状物(バー)同士や他の部材と雄形又は雌形接合部で接続できるという作用を有する。
また、パイプ嵌合部を円柱で形成した場合には、パイプ状取付部の内周壁と拡開部との圧接面が広いので長さ方向に折れ曲がり部のない手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を固定した際に棒状物(バー)とパイプ嵌合部との回転を防止できるという作用を有する。

ここで、スリットとしては、該パイプジョイントの材質(ステンレス等の金属や合成樹脂、合成ゴム等)等に応じて、パイプ嵌合部の他端部の端面乃至螺合孔部の基部まで形成される。拡開固定具を螺合孔部に螺合した際に拡開部が拡開してパイプ嵌合部を嵌合したパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部等のパイプ状取付部の内周壁に拡開部を圧接固定できればよい。スリットの幅は0.1mm以上であればよい。
また、雄形又は雌形接合部の外周径をパイプ嵌合部の外周径と同一にしても、パイプ嵌合部の外周径と異なる大きさにしてもよい。
パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)としては、パイプは勿論のこと端部等の棒状物(バー)同士の接続部や他の部材との接続部にパイプ状の中空部を有するものであれば中間部が中実の棒状のものでもよく、長さ方向に湾曲部を有したものでもよい。また、棒状物(バー)は表面を合成樹脂で被覆したものでもよい。更に、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の断面形状としては、円形は勿論のこと楕円形や四角形等の多角形等、いずれの形状でもよい。
拡開固定具の円柱部の端面の係合部としては、レンチを脱着自在に固定できる角穴やドライバーを係合する−や+の溝状に形成される。
螺合孔部や螺溝部は全面に溝を形成してもよいが、溝に代えて螺着できる作用を有する突起又は突条を1乃至複数形成してもよい。

本発明の請求項2に記載のパイプジョイントは、請求項1に記載の発明において、前記パイプ嵌合部の前記拡開部が、外周面に装着されたゴム等の弾性部材からなる滑り止め部を備え、及び/又は前記拡開部の先端側の断面積が基部側の断面積より小さく形成された構成を有している。
これにより、各種現場におけるパイプや手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部等のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を嵌合して拡開固定具を螺合孔部に螺合し、拡開部をパイプ状取付部の内周壁に押しつけて圧接した際に、パイプ状取付部の内周壁に滑り止め部が当接するため、パイプ状取付部の内周壁と滑り止め部の滑り摩擦を大きくでき、パイプ状取付部とパイプ嵌合部との回転を防止することができるという作用を有する。
また、パイプ嵌合部の拡開部の先端側の断面積を基部側の断面積より小さくした場合、パイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に挿入し易く作業性を向上させることができるという作用を有する。
ここで、滑り止め部としては、少なくとも、パイプ嵌合部の拡開部の、拡開部を拡開した際にパイプ状取付部の内周壁に当接する位置に装着される。また、各拡開部の外周面に各々硬質のゴム等からなる滑り止め部を装着しても、全ての拡開部の外周面を覆うゴム環からなる滑り止め部を装着してもよい。また、滑り止め部を拡開部の外周面に脱着自在に装着してもよく、これにより、該パイプジョイントを取り付ける手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部等のパイプ状取付部の大きさ等に応じて拡開部に装着する滑り止め部を交換することができる。更に、拡開部の外周面の滑り止め部の装着位置に滑り止め部を固定する切欠部や段差部等からなる装着固定部を形成し、滑り止め部を装着固定してもよい。これにより、該パイプジョイントの取付作業時に滑り止め部が所定位置から移動するのを防止できる。

【発明の実施の形態】
(実施の形態1)
以下、本発明におけるパイプジョイントの実施の形態1について、図面を用いて説明する。
図1は実施の形態1におけるパイプジョイントの雄形パイプジョイントを示す要部分解断面図であり、図2は図1のパイプ嵌合部の平面図である。
図中、1は実施の形態1におけるパイプジョイントの雄形パイプジョイント、2は他の部材等に接続する手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部のパイプ状取付部、2aはパイプ状取付部2の内周壁、3は円柱状に形成されたパイプ嵌合部、4はパイプ嵌合部3の一端部側の端面の略中央に穿設された螺合孔部、4aは螺合孔部4の先端部に形成された円錐状又は円錐台状に形成された摺動部、4bは螺合孔部4のネジ部、5はパイプ嵌合部3の他端部側の端面から螺合孔部4を中心に十字状や三叉状に形成されたスリット、6はパイプ状取付部2の内周壁2aの径よりも外周が小さく形成され更にスリット5で4分割等複数に分割されたパイプ嵌合部3の拡開部、7はパイプ嵌合部3の一端部側に同軸状に拡大して形成されその外周面に螺子状部等で形成された雄形接合部、8は螺合孔部4に螺合される拡開固定具、8aは拡開固定具8の先端側に円錐状に形成された拡大部、8bは拡大部8aに連設された円柱部、8cは円柱部8bに形成された螺溝部、9は拡開固定具8の端面に形成され六角レンチやドライバー等の回動具が嵌合される六角穴等からなる係合部である。

以上のように構成されたパイプジョイントの雄形パイプジョイントを手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部のパイプ状取付部に取り付ける場合について、以下図面を用いて説明する。
図3は実施の形態1におけるパイプジョイントの雄形パイプジョイントをパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部のパイプ状取付部に取り付けた状態を示す要部断面図である。
手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部のパイプ状取付部2に雄形パイプジョイント1のパイプ嵌合部3を嵌合し、次に、パイプ嵌合部3の略中央に穿設された螺合孔部4に拡開固定具8を挿入して係合部9に六角レンチやドライバー等の回動具を係合し螺溝部8cとネジ部4bを螺合する。拡開固定具8が螺合孔部4内に螺合しながら進入するのに伴い、拡開固定具8の拡大部8aや円柱部8bが螺合孔部4の摺動部4aに挿入されて拡開部6がスリット5で拡開されてパイプ状取付部2の内周壁2aに押しつけられ、図3に示すように、パイプ嵌合部3がパイプ状取付部2に固定されるとともに、棒状物(バー)の端部に雄形接合部7が形成される。

以上のように実施の形態1におけるパイプジョイントの雄形パイプジョイントは構成されているため、以下の作用を有する。
手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部のパイプ状取付部に、該雄形パイプジョイントのパイプ嵌合部を嵌合して拡開固定具をパイプ嵌合部の螺合孔部に螺合するだけで、パイプ嵌合部の拡開部を拡開してパイプ状取付部の内周壁に拡開部を押しつけて圧接しパイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に固定できるという作用を有する。
パイプ嵌合部の一端部側に螺子状部等からなる雄形接合部を有しているため、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を固定するだけでパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部に雄形接合部を形成でき、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)同士の接続や他の部材との接続等が容易にできるという作用を有する。
パイプ嵌合部を円柱で形成しているため、パイプ状取付部の内周壁と拡開部との圧接面が広く、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を回転させることなく固定できるという作用を有する。

(実施の形態2,3)
本発明におけるパイプジョイントの実施の形態2及び3について、以下図面を用いて説明する。
図4は実施の形態2におけるパイプジョイントの雌形パイプジョイントを示す要部分解断面図であり、図5はパイプ嵌合部の平面図であり、図6は実施の形態3におけるパイプジョイントの雌形パイプジョイントを示す要部分解断面図であり、図7はパイプ嵌合部の平面図である。尚、実施の形態1と同様のものには同一の符号を付して説明を省略する。
図中、10は実施の形態2におけるパイプジョイントの雌形パイプジョイント、6aは各拡開部6の端部の外周面の所定部を切り欠いた切欠部からなる装着固定部、11はパイプ嵌合部3の一端部側をパイプ状に形成して内周面に形成した螺子状部からなるナット状の雌形接合部、12はパイプ嵌合部3の各拡開部6の装着固定部6aに各々装着固定された硬質ゴム等からなる複数の滑り止め部、13は実施の形態3におけるパイプジョイントの雌形パイプジョイント、6bはパイプ嵌合部3の他端部側の外周面に段差状に形成された装着固定部、14は装着固定部6bに脱着自在に装着されパイプ嵌合部3の外周面を覆うゴム環からなる滑り止め部である。
ここで、雌形パイプジョイント10,13のパイプ状取付部2への取り付けは、実施の形態1と同様なので説明を省略する。

以上のように、実施の形態2,3におけるパイプジョイントの雌形パイプジョイントは構成されているため、以下の作用を有する。
パイプ嵌合部の端部の外周面に形成された装着固定部に硬質ゴムやゴム環等からなる滑り止め部を装着固定しているため、パイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に嵌合して拡開固定具により拡開部を拡開してパイプ状取付部の内周壁に圧接した際に、内周壁と滑り止め部が圧接されて滑り摩擦が大きくなり、該雌形パイプジョイントとパイプ状取付部を回転させることなく固定することができるという作用を有する。また、硬質ゴムやゴム環等からなる滑り止め部を拡開部の装着固定部で脱着自在に装着することにより、該雌形パイプジョイントを取り付けるパイプ状取付部の大きさ等に応じて大きさ等の異なる滑り止め部に交換して使用することができるという作用を有する。
また、パイプ嵌合部の一端部側に形成された雌形接合部がナット状に形成されているため、実施の形態1の雄形パイプジョイントを取り付けた手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)と接続する際、各接合部を螺合することができ、実施の形態1の雄形パイプジョイント及び実施の形態2若しくは3の雌形パイプジョイントを取り付けた手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)同士を接続できるという作用を有する。
また、パイプ嵌合部を手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)に取り付けるだけで、該パイプジョイントを介して複数の棒状物(バー)を接続することができ、長さ方向に湾曲部を有した棒状物(バー)も、容易に他の部材と接続できるという作用を有する。

次に、実施の形態1の雄形パイプジョイント及び実施の形態2の雌形パイプジョイントを用いて手摺り等のパイプ等からなる複数の棒状物(バー)を接続する場合について、以下図面を用いて説明する。
図8は複数の棒状物(バー)を接続する場合の要部分解平面図である。
15aは端部に実施の形態1の雄形パイプジョイント1又は実施の形態2における雌形パイプジョイント10を取り付けた棒状物(バー)、15bは一端部に実施の形態1における雄形パイプジョイント1を他端部に実施の形態2における雌形パイプジョイント10を取り付け長さ方向に湾曲部を有した棒状物(バー)である。
図8に示すように、棒状物(バー)15a,15bの端部に雄形パイプジョイント1又は雌形パイプジョイント10を取り付け、棒状物(バー)15a,15bの対向した雄形及び雌形接合部7,11を螺合して棒状物(バー)15a,15bを接続する。
尚、棒状物(バー)15bの両端部に雄形パイプジョイント1又は雌形パイプジョイント10を取り付けて棒状物(バー)15bに接続される棒状物(バー)15aの端部に雌形パイプジョイント10又は雄形パイプジョイント1を取り付けて各棒状物(バー)15a,15bを接続してもよい。また、雌形パイプジョイント10の代わりに実施の形態3における雌形パイプジョイント13を用いてもよい。

【発明の効果】
以上のように本発明におけるパイプジョイントによれば、以下の優れた効果を実現できる。
請求項1に記載の発明によれば、
(1)パイプ嵌合部の一端部側の端面の略中央に先端部が円錐状や円錐台状に形成された螺合孔部を有し、パイプ嵌合部の他端部側に螺合孔部を中心にパイプ嵌合部を複数の拡開部に分割したスリットを有しているため、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を嵌合して螺合孔部に拡開固定具を螺合するだけで、拡開固定具の拡大部や円柱部が螺合孔部の摺動部に挿入されるとともにパイプ嵌合部のスリットが拡開され、拡開部をパイプ状取付部の内周壁に押しつけて圧接することができ、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等に加工を加えることなくパイプ嵌合部を容易に固定することができ、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等のパイプ状取付部への該パイプジョイントの取り付け作業の作業性に優れる。
(2)パイプ嵌合部の一端部側に螺子状部等からなる雄形接合部を有しているため、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を拡開固定具で固定するだけでパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等に接合部を形成することができ、従来のように棒状物(バー)に加工を加えることなく該パイプジョイントの接合部で棒状物(バー)同士の接続や他の部材との接続ができ、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の接続等の作業性に優れる。
(3)パイプ嵌合部を手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部に取り付けるだけで接合部で複数のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)を任意に接続することができ、長さ方向に湾曲部を有した棒状物(バー)も容易に接続することができ、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の接続時の作業性に優れる。
(4)パイプ嵌合部を円柱で形成した場合は、パイプ状取付部の内周壁と拡開部との圧接面が広いので長さ方向に折れ曲がり部のない手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)の端部等のパイプ状取付部に固定しても棒状物(バー)とパイプ嵌合部とを回転させることなく確実に固定でき、パイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)を接続して手摺り等に使用した際にも安全性に優れる。
(5)パイプ嵌合部を手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状取付部に嵌合して拡開固定具を螺合孔部に螺合するだけでパイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に取り付けることができ、少ない部品点数で該パイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に取り付けることができるとともに、簡単な構造で該パイプジョイントの生産性に優れる。
(6)表面に合成樹脂等を被覆した被覆管からなる棒状物(バー)同士の接続や他の樹脂製部材と接続する場合にも、棒状物(バー)のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を嵌合して拡開固定具により拡開部をパイプ状取付部の内周壁に圧接するだけで、該パイプジョイントを棒状物(バー)のパイプ状取付部に取り付けて接続等に要する雄形又は雌形接合部を棒状物(バー)に形成することができ、従来のように、被覆管からなる棒状物(バー)へのフランジ部等からなる接合部の溶接等を要さず、該パイプジョイントの取り付け作業性に優れるとともに、被覆管を変質させることなく取り付けることができ取り付け精度を向上できる。
請求項2に記載の発明によれば、請求項1の効果に加えて、
(7)パイプ嵌合部の拡開部の外周面に滑り止め部を備えているため、手摺り等のパイプ等からなる棒状物(バー)のパイプ状の端部等のパイプ状取付部にパイプ嵌合部を嵌合して拡開固定具を螺合孔部に螺合し、拡開部をパイプ状取付部の内周壁に押しつけて圧接した際に、パイプ状取付部の内周壁に滑り止め部が当接してパイプ状取付部の内周壁と滑り止め部の滑り摩擦を大きくでき、パイプ状取付部とパイプ嵌合部との回転を防止することができ、より強固に確実に該パイプジョイントを固定することができる。
(8)パイプ嵌合部の拡開部の先端側の断面積を基部側の断面積より小さくした場合、パイプ嵌合部をパイプ状取付部に挿入し易く作業性の向上を図ることができる。
