Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an attachment structure for a cover attached to a lamp hole for an automobile.
[0002]
[Prior art]
There are two types of lamps to be mounted on the bumper of an automobile, such as headlamps, turn lamps, and brake lamps, and optional lamps that can be selected according to the user's preference, such as fog lamps.
[0003]
A lamp bumper mounting portion that can be selected whether or not to be mounted like a fog lamp has a structure in which a lamp hole is covered during manufacturing and the lamp is not mounted. When the lamp is later installed at a store or the like, the cover is removed and the lamp is attached to the lamp hole.
[0004]
Techniques related to a cover that can be removed from a conventional lamp mounting portion are disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Nos. 4-13449, 7-89401, and 11-34770.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since all of these techniques are techniques for cutting the cover, it is necessary to work using a blade. Moreover, once cut out, it is impossible to attach the cover again.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an automobile lamp hole cover mounting structure that is safe to remove and easy to mount.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, an attachment structure is provided in which the lamp hole cover is detachably attached to the lamp hole using the claws and the claw engagement holes.
[0008]
Specifically, the invention according to claim 1 is an attachment structure including a claw and a claw engagement hole for detachably attaching a lamp hole cover to a lamp hole opened in a bumper of an automobile,
The lamp hole includes the flexible claw that is erected on the periphery of the lamp hole of the bumper toward the vehicle body side,
The lamp hole cover includes a closed portion protruding outward from the vehicle body to close the lamp hole, a flange portion projecting outwardly from the closed portion, and a flange portion extending outward from the closed portion. A peripheral wall standing upright in the same direction as the protruding direction,
The claw engagement hole opens from the claw engagement hole to the middle of the peripheral wall portion so as to form a flexible tongue having a tip facing the claw engagement hole at the flange portion. A pair of slits extending in the circumferential wall portion standing direction is formed in the circumferential wall portion at intervals in the circumferential direction,
The claw is inserted into the claw engaging hole and engaged with the surface of the flange portion on the vehicle body side to fix the lamp hole cover. During the insertion process, the flexible tongue is pushed by the claw and the claw The lamp hole cover mounting structure is characterized in that the engagement hole is bent to expand.
[0009]
With such a structure, the lamp hole cover can be easily attached, and the lamp hole cover is fixed by the claw and the claw engaging hole. Further, when removing the lamp hole cover, there is no need to use a blade and it is safe. Further, the lamp hole and the lamp hole cover have a simple structure with no closed cross section, and are easy to mold.
[0010]
Next, the invention according to claim 2 is the invention according to claim 1,
The flexible tongue is a claw abutting portion which is inclined on the surface facing the lamp hole periphery of the bumper so that the thickness of the flexible tongue becomes smaller from the flexible tongue base end toward the flexible tongue tip. With
The distance between the flexible tongue tip and the wall of the claw engagement hole facing the flexible tongue tip is such that the flexible tongue tip and the wall of the claw engagement hole facing the flexible tongue tip during the insertion process. The lamp hole cover mounting structure is characterized in that the thickness is equal to or less than the thickness of the base portion of the claw sandwiched therebetween.
[0011]
If it is such a structure, a nail | claw will engage | insert smoothly and once it inserts, a nail | claw will be hold | suppressed with a flexible tongue and will not rattle.
[0012]
Here, the lamp hole periphery of the bumper is a portion that is erected toward the vehicle body side at the periphery of the lamp hole of the bumper and fits inside the peripheral wall portion. It is the part that begins to incline on the surface of the tongue bumper facing the lamp hole periphery, and the tip of the flexible tongue is the part of the flexible tongue that abuts the nail when the nail is engaged The claw base is a portion between the engaging portion of the claw tip and the lamp hole periphery of the bumper.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
Since this invention is the above-mentioned structure, there exist the following effects.
[0014]
Since the flexible tongue is provided on the peripheral wall portion facing the claw engagement hole, the claw fits into the claw engagement hole while both the claw and the flexible tongue are bent. Therefore, it can be easily inserted with a small force, and the nail is not damaged or scraped at the time of insertion. Since there is no breakage or shaving of the nail, it is possible to prevent the lamp hole cover from falling off.
[0015]
Since the lamp hole is covered with the blocking portion and the claw at the periphery of the lamp hole of the bumper is engaged with the surface of the flange portion on the vehicle body side, the claw is not visible when the vehicle is viewed from the outside, so that it looks good.
[0016]
Since both the lamp hole cover and the lamp hole have a simple structure, it is not necessary to form a molding die with a slide structure, and the manufacturing cost can be kept low.
[0017]
Since the flexible tongue has a claw contact portion, the claw is smoothly inserted, and when the claw is inserted, the claw is sandwiched between the flexible tongue and the wall of the claw engagement hole. The hole cover does not rattle.
[0018]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0019]
FIG. 1 is a diagram showing the right half of the front bumper as viewed from the front. A lamp hole 2 for attaching a fog lamp is provided below the bumper 1. FIG. 2 is a view of the lamp hole cover 3 (hereinafter simply referred to as a cover) viewed from the front side (a view viewed from the outside of the vehicle body when the cover 3 is attached to the lamp hole 2). 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the lamp hole 2 as viewed from the vehicle body side. FIG. 5 is a view in which the place where the claw 13 is to be inserted into the claw engagement hole 7 is viewed obliquely from the outside of the vehicle body. FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view in the middle of the nail 13 being inserted, and FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view in which the nail 13 has been completely inserted.
[0020]
In the mounting structure of the present embodiment, the cover 3 shown in FIG. 2 is brought close to the lamp hole 2 shown in FIG. 4 from the vehicle body side, and the claw 13 of the lamp hole 2 is inserted into the claw engaging hole 7 of the cover 3. It is to be fixed. Then, as shown in FIG. 7, the closing portion 4 protruding outward from the vehicle body closes the lamp hole 2.
[0021]
As shown in FIG. 4, four claws 13 and three positioning tongues 14 are provided toward the vehicle body side at the peripheral edge 2a of the lamp hole 2 of the bumper. The positioning tongue piece 14 is provided between the claws 3. The nail | claw 13 is formed with the flexible base 13a and the hook-shaped part 13b formed in the front-end | tip of this base 13a. Although the lamp hole 2 is opened in a circular shape here, the shape of the opening is determined by the shape of the lamp to be mounted, so the shape is not limited to a circular shape, and may be a square or an ellipse. Further, the number of the claws 13 and the positioning tongues 14 need only be sufficient to fix the cover 3. It is preferable that the number of the claws 13 and the positioning tongues 14 is two or more because the cover 3 is firmly fixed and positioning is easy.
[0022]
Next, the cover 3 shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 will be described. Most of the cover 3 is a closing portion 4 that closes the lamp hole 2, which protrudes outside the vehicle body when inserted into the lamp hole 2 and is inserted into the lamp hole 2. In FIG. And projecting vertically upward. A flange portion 5 extends outwardly from the closing portion 4 in a bowl shape, and a peripheral wall portion 6 stands on the outer peripheral edge of the flange portion 5. The peripheral wall portion 6 is erected in substantially the same direction as the direction in which the closing portion 4 protrudes.
[0023]
A claw engaging hole 7 and a positioning hole 9 are opened in the flange portion 5. The claw engaging holes 7 are provided at the same four positions as the claw 13 at positions corresponding to the claw 13 of the lamp hole 2, and the positioning holes 9 are positioned at positions corresponding to the positioning tongue pieces 14 of the lamp hole 2. The same three places as the piece 14 are provided. A pair of slits 15 are provided in the peripheral wall portion 6 adjacent to the claw engaging hole 7 from the claw engaging hole 7 to the middle of the peripheral wall portion 6 as shown in FIG. A flexible tongue 8 is formed between them. That is, the pair of slits 15 are circumferentially formed in the direction in which the peripheral wall 6 is erected from the claw engaging hole 7 to the middle of the peripheral wall 6 so that the flexible tongue 8 whose tip faces the claw engaging hole 7 is formed in the peripheral wall 6. It is formed at intervals in the direction. As shown in FIG. 3, the thickness of the flexible tongue 8 decreases on the surface facing the lamp hole peripheral edge 2 a of the bumper from the flexible tongue base 20 toward the flexible tongue tip 12. The claw contact portion 10 is inclined as described above. The flexible tongue base 20 is a portion where the claw contact portion 10 starts from the flexible tongue 8, and the flexible tongue 8 projects rightward in the drawing from the flexible tongue 8 toward the flexible tongue tip 12. The wall thickness (thickness between the top and bottom in the figure) is getting smaller.
[0024]
The process of fitting the claw 13 into the claw engagement hole 7 and engaging it will be described with reference to FIGS. 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7. FIG. FIG. 5 shows a state of the claw 13, the claw engagement hole 7, and the flexible tongue 8 before being fitted. The cover 3 is moved in the direction of the arrow and fitted into the lamp hole 2. In FIG. 3, the claw 13 is inserted from the upper side of the figure, but at first, the hook-shaped portion 13 b of the claw 13 abuts on the portion of the claw abutting portion 10 having a small distance from the peripheral wall portion 6. As the pin is inserted, the base 13a of the claw 13 is bent, and the hook-shaped portion 13b approaches the closed portion 4 side, that is, the center side of the circular cover 3 while sliding on the claw contact portion 10. At this time, the flexible tongue 8 is gradually bent to the left in FIG. 3, and the distance between the flexible tongue tip 12 and the wall 11 of the claw engagement hole 7 facing the flexible tongue tip 12 is increased. It gets bigger. In the state of FIG. 6, the hook-shaped portion 13 b of the claw 13 is in contact with the wall 11 of the engagement hole, and the flexible tongue 8 is bent most, but at this time, the base portion 13 a of the claw is also bent most. Since both the claw 13 and the flexible tongue 8 bend at the time of insertion, the stress at the time of insertion does not concentrate on one member (the claw 13), and either one can be prevented from being broken or scraped.
[0025]
When the claw 13 is completely inserted, the claw 13 is engaged with the surface of the flange portion 5 on the vehicle body side as shown in FIG. 7, and the bending of the claw 13 and the flexible tongue 8 is eliminated. The distance between the flexible tongue tip 12 and the wall 11 of the claw engagement hole 7 facing the flexible tongue tip 12 is based on the thickness of the claw base portion 13a between which both are originally sandwiched in FIG. Since they are small, they sandwich the nail base 13a so that the cover 3 does not rattle.
[0026]
When removing the cover 3 from the lamp hole 2, it is only necessary to operate from the back side of the bumper 1 to remove the engaging claw 13 from the claw engaging hole 7 and to remove the cover 3, so there is no need to use a blade. It is safe.
[0027]
The shape of each part shown in this Embodiment is an example, and this invention is not limited to this. For example, the claw 13 and the flexible tongue 8 may be provided with a curved surface portion so as to be smoothly bent, and the entire outer periphery is not provided without providing the peripheral wall portion 6 on a part of the outer periphery of the flange portion 5 as in the present embodiment. May be provided.
