Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a water shielding technique such as water shielding for preventing diffusion of contaminated water at a waste disposal site, for example, and is particularly suitable for use in a vertical water shielding structure for preventing diffusion of contaminated water and the like. It relates to a water shielding sheet.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, taking a waste disposal site as an example, vertical water shielding is used to prevent the diffusion of contaminated water leaking from the waste disposal site. The vertical water-impervious can be constructed by standing a water-impervious material in the ground so as to surround the waste disposal site and to reach the impermeable layer of viscous soil. A typical example of the water shielding material used in the vertical water shielding method is a water shielding sheet made of synthetic resin. A typical example of a vertical water shielding system using such a water shielding sheet is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 6-11994.
[0003]
As can be understood from the above publication, the water shielding sheet is formed in a rectangular shape of a predetermined size in which a male connection portion and a female connection portion are provided on each of the left and right sides. A plurality of sheets are connected to each other through the male connection portion and the female connection portion. Therefore, the water-blocking in each connection part becomes a problem. In the technique disclosed in Japanese Examined Patent Publication No. 6-1994 regarding securing of water shielding at the connecting portion, a water-swellable resin rod is incorporated into the connecting portion. That is, when water penetrates into the connecting portion, the resin rod expands with this water, thereby improving the water tightness of the connecting portion and ensuring water shielding.
[0004]
The method of incorporating such a resin rod as a separate part in the connection portion gives in principle a sufficient water shielding property to the connection portion. However, it is necessary to pay close attention so that the resin rod is not damaged or detached when the construction is carried out by embedding the water shielding sheet in the ground. Becomes larger. This is not preferable when the highly effective vertical water shielding structure is widely used in a waste disposal site or the like.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a water shielding sheet that can effectively solve the above problems.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The water-impervious sheet according to the present invention is provided with a first connecting portion on one side and a second connecting portion on the other side, and the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion on each side. It is used by connecting a plurality of sheets by the engagement of the connecting portions, and functions to shut off the region in a water-tight manner by standing in the ground so as to surround a certain region. And the swelling layer which swells with water absorption is integrally provided in any one or both of the 1st connection part and the 2nd connection part.
[0007]
In the water shielding sheet according to the present invention, since the first connection part and the second connection part are integrally provided with the swelling layer, problems such as damage to the swelling layer during the construction to be embedded in the ground are effective. Can be avoided. Therefore, it is possible to always ensure a stable water-impervious property at the connecting portion without impairing the principle water-impervious property by the swelling structure.
[0008]
About the above water-proof sheet | seat, it is preferable to form the swelling layer with the synthetic resin which added the swelling agent. As the swelling agent, for example, acrylic acid, polyacrylate, sodium acrylate polymer, modified polyethylene oxide, vinyl acrylate alcohol polymer, and the like can be used.
[0009]
There are two methods for integrating such a swelling layer into the connection portion of the first connection portion or the second connection portion. One is a method in which the swelling layer is integrally formed simultaneously with the molding of the main body, and the other is a method in which the swelling layer formed in a separate process is joined by bonding or welding. The integral molding method is superior in terms of processability and integrated strength. The integral molding method involves the integral molding of the main body and the swelling layer. In this regard, it is effective to form a swelling layer by adding a swelling agent as described above. In other words, the addition of a swelling agent increases the degree of freedom in selecting the synthetic resin used for the swelling layer, and the same synthetic resin as the main body can be used for the swelling layer, giving a strong integration of the swelling layer with the main body. It becomes easy. Such an integral molding method is particularly effective when the main body part is formed of polyethylene resin, which is excellent in physical properties such as hardness and chemical stability, and is most suitable as a water shielding sheet but difficult to bond. is there.
[0010]
Embodiment
As shown in FIG. 1, the water-impervious sheet according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention has side portions 2 and 3 integrally connected to the left and right sides of a rectangular main body sheet portion 1 that is long in the vertical direction. Thus, the connection side 4 is formed as a first connection part on one side part 2, and the connection groove 5 is formed as a second connection part on the other side part 3. In FIG. 1, the length in the vertical direction is reduced.
[0011]
The connection fruit 4 is formed so as to bulge out from the sheet portion in a shape having a fist-like cross section, and is integrally provided with a swelling layer 4i at its sharp tip. On the other hand, the connection groove 5 has a cross-sectional shape substantially corresponding to the cross-section of the connection actual 4, more specifically, the connection actual 4 can be inserted as shown by an arrow in FIG. It is formed in a shape that will be wrapped. And as shown in FIG. 3, the swelling layer 5i is integrally provided in the site | part in which the front-end | tip of the swelling layer 4i is located in the state which the connection actual 4 fitted. These swelling layers 4i and 5i are formed of a resin material obtained by kneading a swelling agent in the same polyethylene resin as the main body portion or a synthetic resin compatible with the same, and the side portions 2 and 3 are formed by extrusion molding or the like. To be integrally molded. The amount of swelling agent added is such that it gives a swelling ratio of 10% or more. More preferably, the degree of swelling is 100 to 300%.
[0012]
Such a water-impervious sheet is used by being connected as shown in FIG. For example, in the case of use in a vertical water shielding structure in a waste disposal site, a large number of water shielding sheets are connected and used so as to surround the waste disposal site. In such a state of use, when the sewage leaked from the waste disposal site enters the connection part between the connection fruit 4 and the connection groove 5, the swollen layers 4i and 5i are swollen with this water, thereby 4 and the connection groove | channel 5 increase, and watertightness improves. As a result, it is possible to give a sufficient water shielding property to the connection portion.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the water shielding property of the connecting portion can be stabilized, and for example, a safer vertical water shielding structure for a waste disposal site or the like is possible.
