本発明は、温度設定などのプリセット機能を有するリモコン送信機を用いて洗浄や便座暖房の操作を行うトイレ装置に関するものである。

従来、この種のトイレ装置は図4に示すように構成されていた。以下、その構成について説明する。

図に示すように、便座本体1は、人体局部に温水を突出させて洗浄を行う洗浄手段2と、洗浄用の温水を供給するための給湯手段3と、便座の暖房を行う便座暖房手段4と、リモコン送信機からの信号を受信するための受信手段5、受信手段5からの信号に基づいて、洗浄手段2と給湯手段3及び便座暖房手段4を制御するための本体制御手段6から構成されている。

しかしながら、このような従来のトイレ装置では、リモコン送信機7にて洗浄水の温度設定を行ってその設定された温度信号を送信している為、便座本体1でこの温度信号を正常に受信できなくて、温度設定が変更できない場合が有るという課題を有していた。即ち、リモコン送信機7で湯温を30℃から40℃に変更しても便座本体1で正常に受信できなくて30℃のままとなってしまい、洗浄の際30℃の洗浄水が出てしまうという不具合が有った。

トイレ装置に用いるリモコン送信機は、壁に取り付けた状態で操作するのが一般的である(特開昭60−133133号公報を参照)。この場合、信号は天井に向けて送信され、天井から反射した信号を本体の受信部で受信することになるが、反射後の信号の強さは天井の材質で大きく左右され一定ではなくなってしまい場合によっては正常に受信できないことが生じてしまう。従って、通常のリモコン装置のように使用者が手に持って、リモコン送信機を本体の受信部に向けて操作・送信をする場合に比べて受信が不安定となっている。

その対策として、定期的に温度設定信号を送信する方法が採られている。しかしながら定期的に送信を行うためにはリモコンの制御を行うのに計時機能を持った高価なマイコンを使用する必要がありコストアップになる。或いは、定期的に信号を送信するために送信用の電流を通常のリモコンより多く消費してしまうために電池寿命が短くなるという課題を有していた。

本発明は上記課題を解決するために、リモコンの洗浄開始スイッチ操作時に、どの洗浄開始スイッチが操作されたかを識別するためのスイッチ識別信号と給湯温度設定信号を連続して送信するようにしたものである。
