本発明は、複数のカメラ付き玄関子機によって屋内からそれぞれの戸外の来客の様子を映像で確認するためのテレビドアホン装置に関する。

図4は本願出願人が先に出願した特願平8−354474号に記載されたテレビドアホン装置の概略構成を示している。図4において、1と2はカメラ付き玄関子機であり、モニタ付き室内親機3に2線で接続されている。4は通常のカメラ無し玄関子機で、カメラ付き玄関子機2が接続されている端子とは別端子にカメラ無し玄関子機4が接続されることになる。モニタ付き室内親機3には、通話回路、映像復調回路、CRT、電源回路、着信検出回路、着信鳴動回路、カメラ給電回路、データ送受回路、FMAGC回路と、これらを制御する制御回路とが内蔵されている。5、6はモニタ付き室内子機である。
