【従来の技術】
従来より、犬や猫等のペットが休むベッド（クッション）として、ペットが座る座部と、この座部の背後に設けられる背部と、前記座部の上方に設けられたアーチ型の覆い部とが一体的に形成された、立体的なベッドが既に提供されている。このようなベッドは、クッション性のある芯材を使用しているため肌あたりが柔らかく、ペットが休む場として好適である。
しかし、このようなベッドは立体的であるため嵩が高く、運搬や梱包に不便であるという問題がある。この問題点に鑑み、例えば登録実用新案第３００８１８６号公報等に記載されているペット用ベッドのように、折りたたみが可能となったペット用クッション（ペット用ベッド）が提案されている。

このクッションは、座部と背部を一つのマットから形成し、このマットが包囲体から分離できるようになっていて、マットを包囲体から分離すれば包囲体を折りたたむことができ、嵩を低くできる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし上記のペット用ベッドは、マットと包囲体とが完全に分離するため、折りたたむ前は一体のベッドであるのに、折りたたむとパーツ数が増えて一個の物品ではなくなる。このため、梱包や運搬の際に一方の部品を紛失したり、また破損したりといったおそれが生じてしまう。特にマットは、ベッドを組み立てるときに、包囲体をきれいなアーチ状に形成するための骨組みとなるので、破損しないよう注意が必要となる。

本発明はこのような問題点に鑑みてなされたものであってその目的は、パーツを分離することなく一個の物品のまま折り畳むことができ、パーツの紛失や破損等のおそれのないペット用ベッドを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成すべく以下の手段を採用した。すなわち本発明は、前方開口部がペット用出入口として開口され、かつ後方開口部が背面シートで閉塞されたアーチ状の包囲部が屈曲自在な弾性体や布生地で形成され、この包囲部の底部にはペットが着座可能な底部材が一体的に設けられると共に、該底部材の後方に取付けられていて、前記背面シートに接して包囲部のアーチ形状を支持したペット用空間を形成する起立姿勢と前記底部材に重ねられる重合姿勢とに包囲部内において切換自在となる背面支持部材が設けられ、該背面支持部材が包囲部内において前記底部材に重ねられて包囲部への支持が取り除かれたたときに該包囲部が折りたためることを特徴とする。

また前記背面支持材には、この背面支持材が前記包囲部内面に係止されるための係止手段が設けられていることが好ましい。
この手段によれば、背面支持材が包囲部内面に係止されて、背面支持材が包囲部から容易に離脱することがなく、包囲部３の形状が安定化して好ましい。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図１及び図２は、実施形態にかかるペット用ベッド（以下、単にベッドという）１を示した斜視図、図３は図２Ａ方向からみた側断面図、図４は背面からみた斜視図、図５は包囲部３を折曲してベッド１を折りたたんだ状態を示した斜視図である。
ベッド１は、前方開口部がペット用出入口（以下、出入口という）５として開口され、かつ後方開口部が背面シート３Ｄで閉塞されてアーチ形状に形成された包囲部３を有する。包囲部３は、天面３Ａとこの天面３Ａの左右側部から下方向に延設された両側面部３Ｂ、３Ｂとを有してアーチ状に形成されている。

包囲部３の底部３Ｅには、ペットが着座可能な底部材２が、底部３Ｅと一体的に設けられている。この底部材２に着座したペットは、包囲部３により包囲されて休むことができる。またベッド１は、包囲部３の後方において、包囲部３のアーチ形状を支持する背面支持材６を備えている。
底部材２上には、暖房用のヒータを置くことができる（図示略）。このとき、ヒータのコードは、シート３Ｄ及び背面支持材６の下部６Ｃ付近に設けられた挿通孔７に挿通されて、ベッド１の外部へ誘導される。

包囲部３のうちの天面３Ａ、両側面図３Ｂ、３Ｂ及び前面３Ｃと、底部材２と、背面支持材６は、いずれもクッション性を有するクッション体よりなる。クッション体は、ポリウレタンフォーム（ポリウレタン）等の弾性体の表面を、生地により被覆して形成される。

これらクッション体の表面のうち、背面支持材６が背面シート３Ｄにおいて包囲部３を支持してペット用空間８が形成されているとき、空間８の内面を構成する面（図３中、斜線部分）は、すべて、ボア生地により被覆されている。これにより、空間８内はペットにとって、良好な肌触りと適度な保温性等を具備することになる。また、図３に示すように、出入口５の周縁５Ａも、ボア生地より被覆されていてもよい。
一方、包囲部３の背面シート３Ｄ及び底部３Ｅは、クッション体ではなく、単なる布生地により形成されている。このように、包囲部３や背面シート３Ｄは、弾性体や布生地により形成されているので折曲自在であり、背面支持材６を重合姿勢にしたときに容易に折りたたまれる。

【発明の効果】

従って、一個のペット用ベッドのまま折りたたむことができ、パーツの紛失や破損等のおそれがないばかりか、簡単にペット用ベッドとしての使用状態にすることもできる。
