Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a coin processing apparatus that stores two types of coins having different management categories in a detachable storage box that can be attached to and detached from the apparatus main body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a coin processing apparatus provided with a detachable coin storage box, for example, there is a circulation type coin depositing and dispensing machine described in Utility Model Registration No. 2509366.
[0003]
In such a machine, the function of automatically paying out the necessary change according to the change payout command from the cash register or the like, and the coin received from the customer when it is inserted into the coin receiving port in a denominated state are automatically It has a function of classifying and storing coins that are classified into types and stored in a denomination storage unit so that input coins can be circulated and used as change coins. And when classifying and storing coins, coins are identified, and abnormal coins and coins of denominations that have already become full are depleted before being sent to the denomination sorting passage to sort by denomination, For example, as shown in FIG. 7, the coins are dropped in a detachable storage box 2 that can be attached to and detached from the machine body 1.
[0004]
For coins stored in the detachable storage box 2, the amount of abnormal coins and the number of overflow coins stored by the denomination storage unit in order to be full are stored, thereby managing the stock balance. The full state is monitored so as not to cause a sorting abnormality in which coins sorted and dropped by the coin sorting unit are stacked in one place of the detachable storage box 2 and the next coin does not fall. The full state is monitored by the photosensor 3 in which the optical axis passes through a predetermined height position below the sorting hole of the coin sorting unit.
[0005]
On the other hand, the coins stored in the detachable storage box 2 are used as replenishment coins when the number of stored coins in the denomination storage unit decreases, and the detachable storage box 2 is pulled out to take out the coins therein. When the detachable storage box 2 is inserted into the coin receiving port and the detachable storage box 2 is attached to the original position, the replenishable coins are automatically replenished to the denomination storage unit as in the case of the classified storage function, and the denomination coins that do not need to be replenished The abnormal coins are again sorted by the coin sorting unit and stored in the removable storage box 2. The amount of coins in the detachable storage box 2 is updated to the amount of coins once cleared and stored again by this replenishment operation, that is, detachment of the detachable storage box 2. The attachment / detachment detection of the attachment / detachment storage box 2 is performed by the set switch 4, and when the set switch 4 is turned off, the stock amount is cleared.
[0006]
In addition, since the above-described detachable storage box 2 is for storing overflow coins when the denomination storage section is full, the stored coins are reduced without the denomination storage section being full. Since there are no coins to be replenished, as shown in FIG. 7, the detachable storage box 2 is divided into two storage spaces 2a and 2b, and the storage space 2b on the front side has a bar shape of 50 coins. It has been improved and used so that the bar metal wrapped in is stored in advance as a coin for replenishment.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as described above, when the detachable storage box 2 is divided into two storage spaces 2a and 2b and replenishment coins (bars) are stored in the storage space 2b on the front side, replenishment is performed. Although there is no need to newly provide a storage space for storing coins for use in advance, and it is excellent in terms of efficient use of the storage space, and thus leading to a reduction in cost, the replenishment coins stored in advance When the detachable storage box 2 is pulled out to remove the coin, the amount of coins in the detachable storage box 2 is cleared by the detachment, and only the replenishment coin is taken out to return the detachable storage box 2 to its original position. If there is a problem, it will not be possible to accurately manage the cash balance. When it is inserted and sorted by the coin sorting unit and stored in the detachable storage box 2, although it is possible to maintain accurate stock management, the problem that the operability is deteriorated and the processing time is long. There's a problem.
[0008]
In addition, a detection means for distinguishing whether the detachable storage box 2 has been drawn out to take out only the replenishment coins stored in advance or has been drawn out to take out the overflow coins that have been sorted and stored is newly provided. It may be possible to clear the stock amount according to the output of the detection means, but in that case, a new detection means is also provided, leading to a cost increase.
[0009]
The present invention has been made in view of such points, and even when at least two types of coins having different management categories are stored in a detachable storage box that is detachable from the apparatus main body, a detection means is newly added. The object of the present invention is to provide a coin processing apparatus capable of maintaining accurate cash management without causing an increase in cost.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The coin processing device according to claim 1, wherein the coins that have been identified by the coin identifying unit and then dropped by the coin sorting unit are dropped and stored in the lower storage unit, and the amount of coins stored in the storage unit is stored. In addition, in the coin processing device that manages the full state, at least two storage spaces that are detachable in the horizontal direction with respect to the device main body and that are open on the upper surface are formed in the attachment / detachment direction. A detachable storage box assigned as a storage unit, a first detection means for detecting a state where the detachable storage box is completely pulled out from a fully mounted state, and a photosensor, When the detachable storage box is fully installed, the optical axis passes through the innermost storage space and can detect the full state of coins stored in the innermost storage space. Overdraw When the innermost storage space is located in the apparatus main body, the second detection means is disposed at a position where the optical axis is shielded by the removable storage box, and the removable storage box is in a fully mounted state. Only the sensor hole opened in the removable storage box so that the optical axis of the second detection means is in a light projection state, and the second detection even if the first detection means no longer detects the removable storage box When the means is not in the light shielding state, the height of the innermost storage space is not changed, the first detection means does not detect the detachable storage box, and the second detection means is in the light projection state. And a cash management control unit that clears the cash in the innermost storage space.
[0011]
With this configuration, in order to use only the storage space on the front side of the detachable storage box, when the detachable storage box is pulled out until the innermost storage space is located in the apparatus main body, the first Even if the detection means no longer detects the detachable storage box, the second detection means is in a light-shielded state, so that the height of the innermost storage space is not changed, and the innermost storage of the detachable storage box is not performed. In order to use the space, when the removable storage box is pulled out until the innermost storage space is exposed outside the apparatus main body, the first detection means does not detect the removable storage box and the second detection means Will be in a flooded state, clearing the height of the innermost storage space. Therefore, the storage space on the front side of the detachable storage box can be freely used, and the height of the storage space on the farthest side only when the detachable storage box is pulled out until the innermost storage space is exposed outside the main unit. To maintain accurate cash management.
[0012]
The coin processing device according to claim 2 is the coin processing device according to claim 1, wherein a depositing process is performed on the storage portion to which the innermost storage space of the detachable storage box is assigned to become a coin in the device. A coin is stored, and a coin before replenishment prepared for replenishment is stored in a storage space closer to the front side than the rearmost storage space.
[0013]
With this configuration, the pre-replenishment coins prepared for replenishment stored in the front storage space of the detachable storage box can be freely used, and the deposit processing stored in the innermost storage space can be performed. It is possible to maintain accurate cash management of coins that have been made and become coins in the device.
[0014]

[0025]
A flat belt 42 that constitutes the bottom surface of the coin receiving port 25 is disposed below the coin receiving port 25 along the front-rear direction. The flat belt 42 is inclined upward in the retraction direction, and the flat belt 42 is driven to rotate. As a result, the coins on the flat belt 42 are carried back and conveyed. Above the rear end side of the flat belt 42, reverse rotation is performed so that the coins placed on the flat belt 42 are driven in reverse in the direction opposite to the rotation direction of the upper surface of the flat belt 42 to pass one by one in the thickness direction. A roller 43 is provided.
[0026]
The rear end of the flat belt 42 is connected to the entrance of the coin passage 44. The coin passage 44 has a coin identification passage portion 45 disposed along the right side of the apparatus main body 12 and a denomination coin sorting passage portion 46 disposed along the rear side of the apparatus main body 12. As shown in FIG. The coin passage 44 is formed on the passage plate 47 constituting the passage bottom surface and between the guide side plates 48 and 49 constituting both sides of the passage, and extends along the upper side of the coin identification passage portion 45 and the denomination coin sorting passage portion 46. Then, the coins are conveyed by the conveyor belts 50, 51, 52 stretched respectively. In addition, the conveyance speed of the coins by the conveyance belts 50, 51, 52 is faster than the retraction speed of the coins by the flat belt 42, and the coins retreated into the coin passage 44 are conveyed one by one in the front and back space. Is done.
[0027]
In the coin identification passage portion 45, a guide side plate 48 on one side protrudes toward the center of the passage and serves as a reference edge 48a that is conveyed while contacting the coin. Corresponding to the reference edge 48a, the coin identification portion 53 and the coin The sorting unit 54 is disposed in order from the upstream side. The coin identifying unit 53 identifies normality, abnormality, and denomination based on the material, diameter, and presence / absence of a hole. The coin sorting unit 54 forcibly drops and sorts the coins when the coin identifying unit 53 identifies the abnormal coin and the overflow coin when the denomination storage unit 41 is full. A sorting hole 55 is formed in the plate 47, and a shutter 56 is disposed in the sorting hole 55, and is moved forward and backward in and out of the passage in the passage width direction by the solenoid SD1. A chute 57 that guides coins dropped from the sorting hole 55 to the removable storage box 28 is attached to the lower side of the sorting hole 55. In a case where the shutter 56 normally enters the passage and a coin identified as normal by the coin identifying unit 53 is allowed to pass, and an abnormal coin and an overflow coin are identified by the coin identifying unit 53. Then, the shutter 56 is retracted out of the passage, and the coin is dropped from the sorting hole 55 and stored in the detachable storage box 28 below.
[0028]
In the coin sorting passage section 46, the other side guide side plate 49 protrudes toward the center of the passage to form a reference edge 49a, and the gold coins are arranged in this order from the small coin on the upstream side to the large coin on the downstream side along the reference edge 49a. A sorting hole 58 for sorting the diameters by type is formed. However, since the 5-yen coin and the 100-yen coin have similar diameters, one 5-yen coin is forcibly sorted by the 5-yen coin sorting unit 59 disposed on the most upstream side. In the 5-yen coin sorting portion 59, a shutter 60 is disposed in the sorting hole 58 and is moved forward and backward in and out of the passage in the passage width direction by the solenoid SD2. Further, a timing sensor (not shown) for detecting the coins to be conveyed is disposed on the upstream side of each sorting hole 58. When the timing sensor detects that the coin identified as the 5-yen coin by the coin identifying unit 53 reaches the 5-yen coin sorting unit 59, the shutter 60 is retracted out of the passage, and the 5-yen coin is sorted into the sorting hole. 58, and in the case of coins other than 5-yen coins, the shutter 60 enters the passage, passes through the 5-yen coin sorting unit 59, and falls according to the diameter in the denomination sorting hole 58. The Coins dropped from the respective sorting holes 58 are sorted and stored in denominations in the denomination storage unit 41 below.
[0029]
Further, the detachable storage box 28 is formed in a box shape that is elongated in the front-rear direction and has an upper surface opened, and two storage spaces 62, 63 are partitioned in the front-rear direction by a partition plate 61 therein. The rear (rear) storage space 62 is positioned below the sorting hole 55 of the coin sorting section 54 in the mounted state where the detachable storage box 28 is mounted on the apparatus main body 12, and abnormal coins falling from the sorting hole 55 Then, a coin (symbol C in the drawing) that has been subjected to deposit processing such as overflow coins to become a coin in the apparatus is stored. [0048]
First, referring to FIG. 1, the relationship between the pulled-out state of the detachable storage box 28 and the function of the cash management control unit of the control unit 101 will be described.
[0049]
In the state shown in FIG. 1A, the detachable storage box 28 is in a fully mounted state, and both the storage box detection means 71 and the storage box full detection means 72 are in the on state. In the state shown in FIG. 1B, the detachable storage box 28 is slightly pulled out, and the storage box full detection means 72 is switched off while the storage box detection means 71 remains on. In the state shown in FIG. 1 (c), the detachable storage box 28 is further pulled out, and the storage box detection means 71 and the storage box full detection means 72 are switched off. In the state shown in FIG. 1 (d), the detachable storage box 28 is temporarily locked by the temporary locking means 66 and the drawer is restricted, that is, the detachable storage box 28 is at the rear edge of the groove 68. The storage space 62 on the back side of the detachable storage box 28 is located in the apparatus main body 12 in a state where it is caught by the convex portion 67 on the main body 12 side, and the storage box detection means 71 and the storage box full detection means. 72 is also in the off state. Until the state shown in FIGS. 1A to 1D, the cash amount is maintained and managed by the function of the cash amount management control unit of the control unit 101 without clearing the cash amount of the storage space 62 on the back side. The
[0050]
The storage box detecting means 71 detects the time between the fully attached state where the detachable storage box 28 is completely attached and the state where the detachable storage box 28 is slightly pulled out. The micro switch 73 is not turned off while the box full detection means 72 is in the light-projected state, and it is possible to prevent the stock amount from being cleared.
[0051]
In the state shown in FIG. 1E, the temporary locking means 66 is deregulated by pulling out the detachable storage box 28 while raising the front end of the detachable storage box 28 slightly. The rear end edge of the device passes over the convex portion 67 on the apparatus main body 12 side, the removable storage box 28 is pulled out, and the storage space 62 on the back side of the removable storage box 28 is exposed to the outside of the apparatus main body 12 for storage. The box detection means 71 is switched off and the storage box full detection means 72 is switched on. In this state, the amount of the storage space 62 on the back side is cleared by the function of the amount management control unit of the control unit 101.
[0052]
Therefore, in order to use only the storage space 63 on the near side of the detachable storage box 28, when the detachable storage box 28 is pulled out until the storage space 62 on the back side is located in the apparatus main body 12, the storage is performed. Even if the box detection means 71 no longer detects the detachable storage box 28, the storage box full detection means 72 is in a light-shielded state, so that the height of the storage space 28 on the back side is not changed, and the detachable storage box 28 In order to use the rear storage space 62, when the removable storage box 28 is pulled out until the rear storage space 62 is exposed to the outside of the apparatus main body 12, the storage box detection means 71 detects the removable storage box 28. In addition, since the storage box full detection means 72 is in a light-projected state, the management division differs to the removable storage box 28 that can be attached to and detached from the apparatus main body 12 in order to clear the height of the storage space 62 on the back side. When storing different types of coins Also, without increasing the cost, such adding a new detection means can maintain an accurate inventory amount management.
[0053]
Next, the deposit function will be described. The deposit process is started when the cashier receives the coin received from the customer into the coin receiving port 25 and operates the start button 99 of the operation unit 26.
[0054]
When the depositing process is started, the coins inserted into the coin receiving port 25 are fed one by one by the flat belt 42 and the reverse rotation roller 43 into the coin identifying passage portion 45 of the coin passage 44, and this coin identifying passage portion. 45 is identified by the coin discriminating unit 53 while being conveyed, and as a result of this discrimination, if it is a normal coin and is not an overflow coin, it passes through the coin sorting unit 54 and is sent to the denomination coin sorting passage unit 46 to be denominated The money is sorted and stored in the money type storage unit 41 according to money type.
[0055]
When the coin identifying unit 53 identifies the abnormal coin or the overflow coin when the denomination storing unit 41 is full, the coin selecting unit 54 selects the corresponding coin and stores it in the storage space 62 of the removable storage box 28. Is done.
[0056]
When coins are stored in the storage space 62 of the denomination storage unit 41 or the detachable storage box 28, the corresponding storage content of the bank storage unit 106 is updated by +1 to manage the bank balance.
[0057]
When the storage box full detection means 72 is shielded and turned off during the deposit process, it is detected that the storage space 62 of the removable storage box 28 is full of coins. When this fullness is detected, the depositing process is interrupted, the detachable storage box 28 is completely pulled out from the apparatus main body 12 and the coins in the storage space 62 are separately stored and stored, and then the detachable storage box 28 is mounted again and stored. When the box full detection means 72 is in the light projection state, the deposit process is resumed. When the detachable storage box 28 is pulled out, the detachable storage box 28 is pulled out in the order shown in FIGS. 1A to 1E, and the height of the storage space 62 on the inner side of the detachable storage box 28 at the time of FIG. Cleared.
[0058]
When the coin is not detected by the coin identification unit 53 for a predetermined time or longer, the deposit process is stopped.
[0059]
Next, the withdrawal function will be described. When a change dispensing signal is input from the cash register 107, the withdrawal process is started.
[0060]
When the withdrawal process is started, only the stopper mechanism 86 of the denomination storage unit 41 corresponding to the withdrawal type is switched to a release state that allows the passage of coins. The stopper mechanism 86 is kept in a coin stopped state.
[0061]
By the rotation of the flat belt 84 and the reverse rotation roller 85, the coins in the denomination storage unit 41 are moved in the payout direction, and only the denomination coins in which the stopper mechanism 86 is in the released state pass through the stopper mechanism 86. It is fed out from the front end of the flat belt 84. Coins discharged from the front end of the flat belt 84 are detected by the counting sensor 88, and when the number of coins corresponding to the number of withdrawals is detected, the stopper mechanism 86 is switched to the stopped state and the subsequent coin feeding is stopped. The Then, when all the withdrawals corresponding to the change dispensing signal are completed, the withdrawal process is stopped.
[0062]
Coins paid out from the denomination storage unit 41 by the flat belt 84 are paid out to the coin payout exit 27. The cashier takes out the coins paid out to the coin payout outlet 27 and gives them to the customer as change.
[0063]
If the cashier pays out the change that has been paid out to the coin payout outlet 27 and accidentally drops it, the alternative change is immediately paid out from the denomination storage unit 41 by operating the manual payout button 94. , It is possible to prevent the customer from waiting for the customer and causing the cashier checkout process to stagnate. At this time, if the denomination designation button 92a is not pressed within 2 seconds after the manual payout button 94 is pressed, coins corresponding to the denomination and the number previously registered in the manual payout number storage unit 104 are paid out. If the denomination designation button 92a is pressed within 2 seconds after the button 94 is pressed, one coin of the designated denomination is paid out, and the denomination corresponding to that operation is operated within 2 seconds after one operation. And pay out the number.
[0064]
Further, when the number of pieces stored in the denomination storage unit 41 becomes small, the bar RC stored in the storage space 63 on the near side of the detachable storage box 28 is used as the supplementary coin. In this case, as shown in FIG. 1D, the removable storage box 28 is pulled out so that only the storage space 63 on the near side is exposed, and the bar metal RC is taken out. At this time, since the rear end edge of the concave groove 68 of the detachable storage box 28 is caught by the convex portion 67 by the temporary locking means 66, the drawer of the detachable storage box 28 is temporarily restricted. The storage space 62 is not pulled out until the storage space 62 is exposed, and the amount of money in the storage space 62 on the back side is not cleared.
[0065]
Next, the collecting function will be described. For collecting coins from the inside of the apparatus main body 12, a case of collecting by denomination and a case of collecting all denominations at once can be selected.
[0066]
When collecting by denomination, when the denomination designation button 92a of the desired denomination is pushed after the individual collection button 95 of the operation unit 26 is pushed, the coin of the designated denomination is the same as the above-mentioned withdrawal function. Only the money is delivered from the denomination storage unit 41 and paid out to the coin payout exit 27.
[0067]
When collecting all denominations in a lump, when a collective collection button 96 is pressed, all denomination coins are fed out from the denomination storage unit 41 and paid out to the coin payout exit 27.
[0068]

[0069]
In the case where coins are automatically flowed out and collected from the coin payout outlet 27, the lid 32 in a closed state is turned upward on the bottom surface of the coin payout outlet 27 to open the opening 31, thereby opening the opening 31. After disposing a collection container (not shown) below the coin, the coin to be dispensed to the coin dispensing outlet 27 falls from the opening 31 and is collected in the lower collection container by performing the above-described collection instruction operation.
[0070]
When the register stand or the like overlaps below the coin payout outlet 27, the lock mechanism 22 of the apparatus main body 12 is operated with a key to release the lock lever 19 of the lock mechanism 15 from the lock pin on the rear side. 17, and the apparatus body 12 is pulled out from the apparatus frame 11. When the apparatus main body 12 is pulled out from the apparatus frame 11 by a predetermined length, the locking groove 20 of the locking lever 19 is engaged with the locking pin 17 on the front side, and the drawing is restricted. In this pulled out state, the lower part of the opening 31 moves to the front position of the register table and does not overlap with the register table. And after arrange | positioning a collection | recovery container etc. under the opening part 31, by performing the above-mentioned collection instruction | indication operation | movement, the coin paid out to the coin discharge outlet 27 falls from the opening part 31, and is collect | recovered in a lower collection | recovery container. The
[0071]
On the other hand, when a coin is taken out and collected from the coin payout outlet 27, the coin paid out from the denomination storage unit 41 to the coin payout outlet 27 by the collection instruction operation is in a closed state on the bottom surface of the coin payout outlet 27. It is stored on the lid 32. When the coin payout outlet 27 is filled with the stored coins and the coin payout outlet full detection means 34 detects that the coin payout outlet 27 is full, the payout of coins from the denomination storage unit 41 is temporarily stopped. When a coin is taken out from the coin payout outlet 27 and the fullness detection by the coin payout outlet full detection means 34 is canceled, the payout of coins from the denomination storage unit 41 is resumed. Accordingly, once the collection specifying operation is performed, the payout can be automatically restarted simply by removing the coin from the coin payout outlet 27, and the coin collecting process can be facilitated.
[0072]
The inside of the detachable storage box 28 may be divided into three or more storage spaces.
[0073]
