BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a magnetic recording / reproducing apparatus having a function of eliminating, for example, tape slack caused when a power failure occurs.
[0002]
[Prior art]
When the cassette tape is loaded into the magnetic recording / reproducing apparatus and the tape is run, for example, if a power failure occurs, the S and T reels (S on the tape supply side and S on the take-up side) after the power failure. (Referred to as T) continues to rotate due to inertia, and the tape is in a slack state. If playback, recording, fast-forwarding or rewinding operations are performed at the time of power failure recovery in such a state, an excessive load is applied to the tape and the tape is damaged. Alternatively, a safe operation may be performed so as not to damage the tape. In this case, even if an operation request for recording or the like is made next, the operation corresponding to the request may not be performed.
In order to prevent this, it is generally known to perform a winding operation of the tape. However, as a judgment to finish the winding operation, a winding operation for a certain time or a T-side reel is used. It is known that a winding operation is performed by rotating the S-side reel in a state in which the winding braking is applied to the motor, and the winding operation is terminated when the rotation of the S-side reel is no longer detected.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Some conventional magnetic recording / reproducing apparatuses always perform a winding operation for a fixed time (for example, one minute) after the recovery from the power failure, regardless of the amount of tape slack that occurs when the power failure occurs. This fixed time is set in consideration of the maximum amount of tape slack that can be assumed, and the set time in this case can eliminate tape slack even if the maximum possible tape slack occurs. It's time.
For this reason, even if the tape does not loosen so much and the slack can be eliminated by, for example, about 1 second after the recovery from the power failure, the remaining time (for example, 59 seconds) does not make sense. It will continue. There is a need to reduce this extra time and the extra tape run associated therewith.
Further, as a judgment to end the winding operation, the winding operation is performed by rotating the S side reel while the winding braking is applied to the T side reel, and the winding is performed when the rotation of the S side reel is not detected. When the operation is finished, there is a problem that by applying braking to the reel on the T side, an excessive load is applied at the moment when the slack of the tape disappears, and the tape may be damaged.
In addition, after the winding is completed, the tape position is shifted in the direction of the starting end, and therefore there is a problem that when the recording operation is started, the previously recorded portion is erased by overwriting.
In a video deck equipped with a mechanism that cannot arbitrarily brake a reel, when the power is restored from a state in which the tape is slack due to a power failure or the like, The purpose is to reduce the extra time and the amount of winding in the operation.
Another object of the present invention is to control the amount of overwriting by recording after correcting the difference between the tape position after the slack removal operation and when the power is restored, so that the previously recorded portion is not erased.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention in order to solve this problem, the S-side reel for supplying tape, the T-side reel for taking up the tape, and the S-side reel rotation detecting means for detecting the rotation of the S-side reel, the T-side reel and T-side reel rotation detecting means for detecting rotation of, convey the power of the capstan on one of the S-side reel and the T-side reel, and a tape winding mechanism for a tape winding operation, the tape winding operation When the rotation of the S-side reel is no longer detected by the S-side reel rotation detection means, or when the rotation of the T-side reel is detected by the T-side reel rotation detection means during Cow until the take-up control means having a function of determining a stop, the tape winding operation stop from the time of power restoration input pulses from the T-side reel rotation detecting means Storing as a target value was collected, and a tape feeding means for performing by the amount tape feeding operation of at least the target value by rotating the capstan in the forward direction after said tape winding operation.
When these means are used, it is possible to reduce the extra time elapsed and the extra tape running associated with the slack removal without braking the reel. Also, since no excessive load is applied at the moment when the tape is no longer loose, the tape is not damaged.
[0005]
In addition, the record immediately before the power failure can be prevented from being erased in the record after the winding operation.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
According to a first aspect of the present invention, the S-side reel for supplying tape, the T-side reel for taking up the tape, and the S-side reel rotation detecting means for detecting the rotation of the S-side reel, the T-side and T-side reel rotation detecting means for detecting the rotation of the reel, convey the power of the capstan on one of the S-side reel and the T-side reel, and a tape winding mechanism for a tape winding operation, tape winding When the rotation of the S-side reel is no longer detected by the S-side reel rotation detecting means during operation, or when the rotation of the T-side reel is detected by the T-side reel rotation detecting means and winding control means having a function of determining the stop of operation, between the input pulses from the T-side reel rotation detecting means from the time of power restoration to the tape winding operation stop counter And stored as a target value, and a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus having a tape feeding means for performing by the amount tape feeding operation of at least the target value of the capstan is rotated in the forward direction after said tape winding operation It has the effect of reducing the extra time that accompanies the slack removal and the extra tape running without braking the reel. In addition, there is an effect that the record immediately before the power failure is not erased in the record after the winding operation.

(Embodiment 2)
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
When the winding operation represented by the first embodiment is performed, the tape position is shifted toward the start end from the time of occurrence of a power failure. Next, the operation of the present embodiment in the magnetic recording / reproducing apparatus having the above configuration will be described with reference to the operation flowcharts of FIGS.
When there is a recording request (step S6) to the deck at the time when the initialization operation of the mechanism mentioned in the first embodiment is completed, the tape position is corrected (S7), and the recording after the correction operation is performed. Start (step S8). Step S7 for correcting the tape position at this time is a characteristic part of this embodiment, and its flow is shown in FIG. 4, and the contents thereof will be described below.
First, when there is a recording request (step S6) when the initialization operation is completed, the deck is shifted to the short RECPLAY state (step S71). After shifting to the short RECCPLAY state, the time from the power recovery is confirmed (step S72), and if it reaches an arbitrary time, recording is started (step S8). This is to guarantee the longest time from power recovery to recording.
If this time has not been reached, the target value stored in step S45 is compared with the current T reel pulse count-up value (step S73).
At this time, if the current count value is smaller than the target value, the magnitude of the difference is judged (step S74). If the difference is large, the tape position needs to be changed greatly, so the time spent for correcting the tape position. In order to shorten the time, the rotation speed of the

If the current count value is equal to or larger than the target value in step 73, the tape position correcting operation is terminated and recording is started (step S8).
That is, according to the magnetic recording / reproducing apparatus of the present embodiment, the amount of overwriting by controlling the difference between the tape position after completion of the slack removal operation and when the power is restored is controlled to record the previously recorded portion. It has an excellent effect of not erasing.
[0012]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the winding operation can be stopped and the next operation can be started when the tape is loosened, so that no unnecessary winding time and winding amount are generated. In addition, since it is not necessary to brake the T-side reel, it can be realized even with a deck that does not have a mechanism for braking the reel, and it does not damage the tape because excessive tension is not applied at the moment when the slack is released. .
Further, according to the present invention, recording can be started from the position of the tape whose power has been restored, and recording can be started without erasing the image immediately before the occurrence of a power failure.
