Abstract
Description
【0001】
θq=tan−1(L/T)−tan−1{(Lcosθp)/T}
【0049】
θq=tan−1(L/T)−tan−1{(Lcosθp)/T}…(1)
【0065】
R=HN(1+AV2)/δH …(2)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicular illumination device that emits light forward of a vehicle from a pair of left and right light distribution units installed at the front of the vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a vehicle lighting device that improves visibility in a turning direction when turning a vehicle, for example, there is one described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2-11462. This vehicular lighting device is configured to change the irradiation direction of one or both of a pair of left and right headlamps provided at the front of the vehicle in conjunction with steering of the steering wheel. Rotate only the light distribution of the head lamp on the turning direction side in the turning direction in conjunction with steering, or turn the light distribution of the head lamp on the turning direction side larger than the light distribution of the head lamp on the non-turning direction side. I try to move it.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a conventional vehicular lighting device, as shown in FIG. 14 showing a road surface light distribution pattern when the vehicle C turns rightward, a light distribution pattern L of the headlight in the non-turning direction side. L Is left in the front direction, and the light distribution pattern L of the headlamp in the turning direction side R The light distribution pattern L by the left and right headlamps L , L R There is a problem in that a dark portion D occurs between them, which causes the driver to feel uncomfortable. Further, in order to eliminate the above-described dark portion D, simply adding a light to distribute light to the dark portion is not energy efficient, and the light distribution pattern of the left and right headlamps is widened without adding a light. Therefore, there is a problem in that a sufficient amount of visibility cannot be improved because the amount of light on the side of the steering direction with high gaze frequency is insufficient during turning.
[0004]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to prevent the occurrence of a dark portion between the left and right light distribution patterns while improving visibility of the turning direction when turning the vehicle without adding a lighting portion.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the invention of
[0006]
According to the above configuration, when the vehicle turns to the right, for example, the control means turns the right movable light distribution portion to the right and turns to the turning direction based on the detection signal of the turning state detection means. While irradiating, the light distribution by the left movable light distribution unit is diffused.
[0007]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first aspect of the invention, the turning state detecting means is a steering angle detecting means for detecting a steering angle of the vehicle.
[0008]
According to the above configuration, the control unit drives and controls the horizontal direction rotation unit and the diffusion adjustment unit according to the steering angle detected by the steering angle detection unit.
[0009]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the first aspect of the invention, the turning state detecting means is a curvature radius detecting means for detecting a curvature radius of a curve when the vehicle is running.
[0010]
According to the above configuration, the control unit drives and controls the horizontal direction rotation unit and the diffusion adjustment unit according to the curvature radius of the curve detected by the curvature radius detection unit.
[0011]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of any one of the first to third aspects, a vertical direction rotation unit that individually rotates the light distribution state of each movable light distribution unit in the vertical direction is provided. Is configured to drive and control the vertical rotation unit so as to rotate the movable light distribution unit on the turning direction side in response to the detection signal of the turning state detection means.
[0012]
According to the above configuration, for example, when the vehicle turns in the right direction, the control unit rotates the right movable light distribution unit in the right direction based on the detection signal of the turning state detection unit. And irradiating far away by rotating upward, while diffusing the light distribution by the left movable light distribution section.
[0013]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the configuration according to any one of the first to fourth aspects, a vertical direction rotation unit that individually rotates the light distribution state of each movable light distribution unit in the vertical direction is provided. Is configured to drive and control the vertical rotation unit so as to rotate the movable light distribution unit on the non-turning direction side downward in response to the detection signal of the turning state detection means.
[0014]
According to the above configuration, when the vehicle turns to the right, for example, the control means turns the right movable light distribution portion to the right and turns to the turning direction based on the detection signal of the turning state detection means. While irradiating, the light distribution by the left movable light distribution unit is diffused and the left movable light distribution unit is rotated downward to irradiate near.
[0015]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of the fourth or fifth aspect of the invention, the control means includes an irradiation distance by the movable light distribution portion on the non-turning direction side, a mounting height of the movable light distribution portion from the road surface, and a turning direction. On the basis of the horizontal rotation angle of the movable light distribution unit on the side, the vertical rotation angle of the movable light distribution unit on the turning direction side or the non-turning direction side is set.
[0016]
For example, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the irradiation distance to the front of the vehicle by the movable light distribution unit on the non-turning direction side (here, the left side) is L, the mounting height of the movable light distribution unit from the road surface is T, Assuming that the horizontal rotation angle of the movable light distribution unit on the turning direction side (right side here) is θp, the upward vertical rotation angle θq of the movable light distribution unit on the turning direction side is
θq = tan -1 (L / T) -tan -1 {(Lcosθp) / T}
Is calculated by
[0017]
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the configuration of any of the fourth to sixth aspects, the control means is configured such that the irradiation distance of the movable light distribution unit on the turning direction side to the vehicle front direction is a movable distribution on the non-turning direction side. The vertical turning angle of at least one of the turning direction side and the non-turning direction side of the movable light distribution part is set so as to be equal to the irradiation distance of the light part in the vehicle front direction.
[0018]
According to the above configuration, for example, when the vehicle turns in the right direction, the control unit rotates the right movable light distribution unit upward, or rotates the left movable light distribution unit downward. Alternatively, the left movable light distribution unit and the right movable light distribution unit are irradiated in the vehicle front direction by rotating the right movable light distribution unit upward and simultaneously rotating the left movable light distribution unit downward. Make the distances equal to each other.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】

[0020]
According to the invention of claim 2, based on the steering angle of the vehicle, the movable light distribution part on the turning direction side is turned in the turning direction, and the light distribution state of the movable light distribution part on the non-turning direction side is diffused. As a result, without adding a new light distribution unit, it is possible to improve the visibility in the turning direction, while preventing the occurrence of dark areas between the light distribution patterns by the left and right movable light distribution units. It is possible to realize a light distribution state that is continuous and has no sense of discomfort.
[0021]
According to the invention of
[0022]
According to the invention of claim 4, while turning the movable light distribution part on the vehicle turning direction side in the turning direction, the light distribution state of the movable light distribution part on the non-turning direction side is diffused, and then the turning direction Since the movable light distribution part on the side is rotated upward, the turning direction can be visually recognized farther, particularly with a curve having a large curvature radius.
