【0001】

X and Y are a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, respectively. X and Y are preferably the same in consideration of the reactivity with phosphorus trihalide when the organophosphorus compound (I) is produced.
[0017]
As described above, the organophosphorus compound (I) is prepared by reacting the phenol compound (II-1) or the phenol compound (II-2) with phosphorus trihalide in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent, and further piperazine. It can manufacture by making it react. When using the phenol compound (II-1) and the phenol compound (II-2), if X and Y are different, two types of compounds are used. If X and Y are the same, one type of compound is used. Good. In the following description, unless otherwise specified, the case of using one kind of compound in which X and Y are the same will be described.
[0018]
Examples of the phosphorus trihalide used in the above reaction include phosphorus trichloride, phosphorus tribromide and the like. In particular, phosphorus trichloride is preferably used. Examples of the dehydrohalogenating agent that can be used in this reaction include pyridine and tertiary amines. Specific examples of the tertiary amines are trimethylamine, triethylamine, N, N-dimethylaniline, N, N-diethylaniline and the like, among which triethylamine is preferably used.
[0019]
The reaction (first stage) between the above phenol compound and phosphorus trihalide is generally carried out in an organic solvent. Examples of the solvent that can be used include aromatic hydrocarbons, aliphatic hydrocarbons, oxygen-containing hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, and the like. Specific examples of aromatic hydrocarbons are benzene, toluene, xylene, etc. Specific examples of aliphatic hydrocarbons are n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, etc. Specific examples of oxygen-containing hydrocarbons Are diethyl ether, tetrahydrofuran and the like, and specific examples of the halogenated hydrocarbon are chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, monochlorobenzene, dichlorobenzene and the like. Of these, toluene is preferably used.
[0020]
The reaction proceeds at a temperature of about 0 to 120 ° C. and is performed for about 2 to 10 hours. This reaction proceeds under normal pressure, but may be performed under pressure.
[0021]
By reacting the phenol compound (II-1) and the phenol compound (II-2) with phosphorus trihalide in the presence of a dehydrohalogenating agent, a halogenophosphite represented by the following formula (III) is produced. I think that.
[0022]
[0023]
[Wherein R 1 , R 2 , R 3 , X and Y are as defined above. Z represents a halogen atom. ]
[0024]
In carrying out this first stage reaction, it is preferable to use about 0.45 to 0.55 mol of phosphorus trihalide for each mol of phenol compound (II-1) and phenol compound (II-2). preferable. More preferably, it is used in an amount of about 0.48 to 0.52 mol. In any case, the dehydrohalogenating agent is preferably used in an amount of about 2 to 2.4 moles per mole of phosphorus trihalide. More preferably, it is used in an amount of about 2 to 2.1 mol. The produced halogenophosphite (III) may be isolated and then subjected to the next reaction, but is usually subjected to the reaction with the second stage piperazine in the form of a reaction mixture.
[0025]
The product obtained by the reaction of phenol compound (II-1) and phenol compound (II-2) with phosphorus trihalide is then subjected to reaction with piperazine. At this time, it is preferable to use about 0.5 to 0.6 moles of piperazine per mole of phosphorus trihalide used in the first stage reaction. More preferably, it is used in an amount of about 0.5 to 0.52 mol.
[0026]
In the second stage reaction, the organic solvent usually used in the first stage reaction can be used as it is, and it is preferable to further add a dehydrohalogenating agent. The amount of the dehydrohalogenating agent to be added is preferably about 2 to 2.4 mol per 1 mol of piperazine. More preferably, it is used in an amount of about 2 to 2.1 mol. It is practical to calculate the amount of the additional dehydrohalogenating agent including the remaining dehydrohalogenating agent when the dehydrohalogenating agent is excessively used in the first step.
[0027]
The second stage reaction proceeds at a temperature of about 80 to 120 ° C. and is carried out for about 6 to 12 hours. Usually, this reaction is preferably carried out under reflux.
[0028]
After completion of the reaction, the hydrohalide salt of the dehydrohalogenating agent produced by the reaction is removed, and the solvent is further removed, followed by crystallization from a hydrocarbon solvent such as hexane, or by column chromatography. The organophosphorus compound (I) can be obtained by purification using a graphic or other suitable purification means.
[0029]
In addition, phenol compound (II-1) and phenol compound (II-2) are well-known, and what is marketed can be used as it is.

Polypropylene thermal stability test:
[Merge]
Unstabilized polypropylene 100 parts by weight Calcium stearate 0.05 parts by weight Test compound 0.1 parts by weight
Using a single screw extruder with a diameter of 30 mmφ, the blend was melt-kneaded at 230 ° C. and pelletized. The obtained pellets were put into a melt indexer, and the fluidity (g / 10 minutes) after being retained at 270 ° C. for 10 minutes was measured according to JIS K 7210 to evaluate the thermal stability. Polypropylene causes molecular chain scission by heat and increases fluidity. Therefore, the smaller the fluidity after 10 minutes of residence, the better the thermal stability.
The results are shown in Table 2.

Examples 4-5, Comparative Examples 1-6: Thermal stability test of linear low density polyethylene [combination]
Unstabilized linear low density polyethylene 100 parts by weight Calcium stearate 0.1 parts by weight AO-1 (註) 0.05 parts by weight Test compound 0.1 parts by weight

Using a single screw extruder with a diameter of 30 mmφ, the blend was melt-kneaded at 230 ° C. and pelletized. The obtained pellets were put into a melt indexer, and the fluidity (g / 10 minutes) after being retained at 250 ° C. for 15 minutes was measured according to JIS K7210 to evaluate the thermal stability. Since linear low density polyethylene causes crosslinking by heat and fluidity decreases, it means that the greater the fluidity after staying for 15 minutes, the better the thermal stability. The results are shown in Table 3.
